We had a great tour. The bus driver was very informative and took us to many places. A great way to see the major attractions around Melbourne City and Port Melbourne. We were disappointed in the river cruise part though as the boat went away from the city and there was not very much to see from a Tourist point of view. I understand that tides have something to do with the direction in which the boat will travel because the boat cannot fit under the low lying bridges, however there is no mention of this on the brochure nor when booking. As the boat had a total of 10 people on it, we should have been given the option to come back later in the afternoon when the tide had changed, however this was not offered until I asked ( after the river cruise ) and was advised that we could do this if we wanted to pay a nominal fee. The small fee was not the issue, we should have been advised prior to getting on board. All in all though, it was pleasant, but not as much to see. Would recommend. Neville and Sue

This was one of the best sightseeing tours we have ever taken and gave us a great deal of insight into Melbourne in a short time. We, unfortunately were not able to stay long in your city. Our driver, David, was second to none. His knowledge of Melbourne was amazing and was portrayed in an efficent but also entertaining way. Many thanks!

The trip was a little spoilt by the driver giving his personel views of the city. I will make my own mind up about things.

Very well organised. Although it was raining heavily it was not disappointing. Driver was very informative. Bus was a little late in picking me up, but I put this down to the heavy rain and traffic.

Excellent tour with entertaining and informative commentary. The Yarra River is really the Melbourne harbor which is mostly industrial, not a lot of photo ops but the boat tour operator's commentary was superb. Bus driver and boat operator were very helpful assisting my disabled wife.

Interesting and informative tour. Saw a taster of all the major tourist attractions - gives you a good overall view of the city and an idea of things you may like to see with out guessing from other people's reviews online and word of mouth. Tour guide was very friendly and knew so much about the city. Great way to start your stay in Melbourne if never been before.

Great way to get an initial feel of the city. There isn't a lot of history in Melbourne, so it's more informative than anything else.

We were very impressed with the hospitality of the drivers. We did not realise when we arranged to get picked up at our hotel that it would be as well organised as it was. Getting all the different bus companies to pick travelers up and meeting at the departure point was a very good idea. We found our driver very informative which made the trip very enjoyable. Without the tour we would not have seen as much of Melbourne as we did. It was very enlightening and we would recommend it to anybody.

Our Melbourne City Sights tour was most enjoyable and informative. The driver was very knowledgeable and gave us continual facts on the city and it's buildings. I had done a similar tour last year with a different company and found this tour much better and more informative.

The tour was excellent.I received an excellent overview of Melbourne. One small point, when waiting at the pick up point it would have been helpful to know which company the tour was with. It wasn't difficult to find out, but it would have been good if this was stated on the printout. A second point: When boarding the bus my printout was taken by the gentleman organising the passengers, which is fine, except for the fact that this printout also mentioned my Yarra cruise. I was a little worried that now I did not have any documentation to prove my payment of the cruise. All was well as my party of 4 was on the Yarra cruise list, but any issues with this list and I would not have any doco.

The cruise was a 4 star... in spite of the dumping rain that day, but the bus tour seemed to just go in circles. I'm not sure I would be able to find my way back to any of the places I would like to see more of. Maybe a map would have help. It worked for a quick view of Melbourne,

Seeing the city sights of Melbourne it was the best way to go. You heard and seen all about the town. Very interesting. After taking this tour we decided to take the afternoon tour to the beaches and finished off with the river cruise. We saw all parts of the town.

I hate to give this only a two, but having done other city tours, this one was really just so-so. The guide was really nice and showed us great things, but it was bogged down with a lot of information that's really not that relevant to seeing the sites. Also, it would have been nice to have slightly longern in the places you stop which are only two - Fitzroy Gardens and the Botanical Gardens. Beautiful city though!

It was very enjoyable, and very informative, as we have never been to Melbourne before and Phil our bus driver was terrific! He showed us places we didnt think we would be shown. We will be coming back to Melbourne one day to look at more sights and maybe do the Ocean Road or Yarra tour! Thanks for a great tour!

We were very pleased with the tour! The driver gave us plenty of information and we felt more acquainted with the city once the tour was finished. We took the river cruise also, and this was well handled as a transition from the bus to the boat. Thanks.

We were tourists in our own capital city. We had done tours of many cities around the world but knew very litle about our own. Peter, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and we learnt much that we previously had not known. Not only would we recommend this tour to visitors from other parts of the world and from Australia, but we would suggest that it is a tour that all Victorians and Melbournians should do as well.

A great way to see Melbourne in a nutshell. The tour guide was knowledgable and very interesting to listen to. We didnt do the cruise. However, it was a little confusing when we arrived at our meeting point to know exaclty which tour group was ours as there were alot of buses and alot of people!

Very well organised. Excellent tour of the city and suburbs giving a total overview, information and history picking out some of the hidden places that could well be overlooked. Then able to go back and spend time at the places we wanted to visit in our own time. Did not do the river cruise so can not comment upon that.

Gets you a good idea of where to go the rest of the days you are around. If you are there for up to a week you can pretty much do it on your own.
