This tour was Fantastic!! We had a great day. Fiona our driver and guide was excellent. Knowledgable and very friendly. Our group was very small so we were able to enjoy the wineries at our own pace without being rushed. The wineries were supurb and all the staff involved were very friendly and willing to answer all of our questions. Highly recommend for anyone not wanting to be part of a large cattle class tour group.

Had a great day on this tour. Plenty of opportunities for wine tasting. The cheese tasting in the trophy room at De Bortoli didn't go as planned (just a last minute bit of cheese at the bar) but that wasn't the tour operator's fault. It seems that De Bortoli had a few staff call in sick that day. Lunch at Domaine (with 4 half glasses of wine) was the highlight. I thoroughly recommend the tour. Our host was very informative.

This tour is fabulous - its small, its personal, not rushed and Fiona goes out of her way to make things easy for her group. Its also the little things - like having water in a cooler on the bus - that make this a really enjoyable trip.

Departure was Tuesday, company called late Sunday night to change day. Driver was on time for pickup. Driving through the Yarra Valley was great. The first stop at De Bortoli was impressive but no departure time was given. Once the wine tasting at the bar was over we were rushed out without time to buy any cheese at their great cheese shop. There was no seating in the private tasting room nor any fruit as the brochure described. The stop at Yering Station winery was way too long. Lunch at Chandon was lovely though there was no time allowed to taste wines there after lunch as we were rushed off to Coldstream Hills. We were all looking for a cup of coffee after lunch but none was offered or available. Coldstream Hills was also impressive with good wine but we would have appreciated some fresh fruit or coffee. Coffee was to be had at the Yarra Valley Dairy. We arrived early so had to wait standing around while they prepared the tasting plates. Two dinner plates with some blobs of cheese were handed around without toothpicks or crackers.We did not get to sit down at the tables until we ordered coffee which we paid for since it was not included in our tour. At 180 per person I felt that morning or afternoon tea should have been supplied. The day was pleasant and two of the wineries were very good but the tour could have been a lot better. The last cheese tasting was woeful, having to pick up the soft cheese with fingers and no coffee, bottled water or fruit being included in a day that started at 9am and finished at 5pm. The fellow travelers were friendly and interesting but I don't think it was value for money.

This was a fantastic tour! There were 11 of us total in the group, and our guide was both hospitable and very knowledgeable. He picked us up at our various hotels at the start of the tour and dropped us all off afterward, making the entire trip effortless. The highlight of the tour was definitely the first stop in the De Bortoli Winery's private tasting room. In that one stop alone we got to sample 13 excellent wines paired with several fantastic cheeses. But each of the other 4 stops featured either a truly standout wine or some extraordinary food. We saw a mob of wild kangaroos in the valley on the way to one of our stops, so the hostdriver pulled over to let us get a good look at them while simultaneously giving us background information on the animals. Awesome! Between the excellence of our guide, the camaraderie of the other guests, and the delicious wines and food, this was a fantastic way to explore and discover Melbourne's scenic wine country while sampling nearly 30 of the area's finest wines. I've been on wine tours before, but this was truly a first class experience. Highly recommended!

This was a great tour. We had 6 in our tour group. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and history of the vineyards. Pick up and drop off at our hotels were on time and very convenient. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Melbourne who wished to experience the vineyards in a laid-back way with personal attention.

We had a great time on this tour! It was just the two of us so it was essentially a private tour. Our guide was polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. The wineries we visited had some good wines. We enjoyed DeBortoli, especially the cheese platter that accompanied the wine tasting. Lunch at Domaine was wonderful! Lunch was a perfect two course light lunch with four glasses of wine to taste with your food. The stop at Yering was enjoyable too. Highly recommended!

An excellent day. Only five people on the trip and we all got on very well. Our guide very knowledgeable and there was plenty of good wine to sample. Lunch in the Yarra Valley was first class.
