Our timing for this trip was great, with it being very early spring the crowds were down compared with what we were told it was like closer to summer; even then, it was busy but very easy to get around. Really well organized, local guide excellent and very engaging. I was a bit nervous about the glass blowing tour after previously being on similar typed tours where you were really pressured to buy, fortunately, this was not the case here, and we really enjoyed it - an added bonus. As with all our tours on this trip, it was well organized, well thought out and ran to time.

Really great trip! Only confusion was that my peers and I were under the impression that a gondola ride was included. It was not, however our tour guide got us a really great deal with a company (15 euros a person). Overall, beautiful city and excellent trip - definitely recommend!

Our tour guide was from Milano but she arranged a local tour guide for us. Both are so enthusiastic, friendly, easy to be with and amazingly informed about Venice. With one in the front and the other at the back, we never lost in this maze place! One star off because the broken air condition of the tour bus.

Interesting Day Trip from Milan. Since it was a long ride the Bus did have a stop both ways._br/_ Guide in Venice gave us lots of info .(Outside of buildings only.) Easy to hear as group was small, and she had a microphone----but jammed with Tourist._br/_ Had a Time change so some missed the Trip. This happened to us once, so now we make special note to check before leaving home. I wish Viator could notify somehow. I did send an e-mail to Viator requesting confirmation of time change--- but did not get a reply. It's difficult if you don't speak the language and are concentrating on your itinerary. _br/_ Take Gondola if you must, but such a traffic jam---it was not the relaxing jaunt you expect._br/_ Murano Glass blowing demonstration was a waste of time, but again I know these "Shopping " opportunities" are part of the Deal. Skip if you have seen one before._br/_ Finding that no Pamphlets are" Free" anymore, so bring a Map for most Attractions and City's_br/_ Just so little time, but isn't that just the way !!

Overall, a great day trip! Tourist season may be a bit overwhelming since off-season was still very crowded especially once the cruise ships arrived. The weather turned rainy on us--be aware of the season in which you plan your trip as Venice is prone to flooding in the rainy months. Our guides were great and full of Venetian history and cultural tradition stories. We'd do it again.

I've used Viator for years - but would NEVER recommend this tour. 7 hours on a bus for 4 hour in Venice with only 2 hours free time. Save money and take the train.

Although it rained much, we had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was well experienced and able to help us out with coordinating the gondula ride some joined and some not with a quick lunch, tour and little shopping. Bring a good attitude with every vacation regardless of where and when, and you are sure to appreciate the culture, country, and company.

Venice was fantastic. Very good tour guide. The only down side was the small van. The three hour ride from Milan to Venice in that van sitting in the back row was very uncomfortable and a very bumpy ride.

The tour could have been better in that there was not much time to explore the city. We did have a little more free time than the people who took the gondola ride, however, without being given maps or some printed material explaining the key sites in the city we were not able to capitalize on the free time.

Right from the beginning the guides made the trip an educational, interesting and fun experience. They could not have been more helpful to my 89 year old mother and went out of their way to make her feel important and help her keep up. Seeing Venice was an experience of a lifetime.

The guide was not good. There was no introduction or tour when we reached Venice. She just brought the group from Milan to Venice with no tour content. This was just the bus ride and the ferry ticket to Venice; it was definitely not worth paying for a tour! It was very very disappointing for my first time trip to Venice.

The trip to Venice was fantastic, but the tour guide was not very good. The guide arrived late, and the bus was even later, even though we were told to arrive early. My fiance and I had arranged to take a gondola ride. That tour guide was late to meet us, then wandered around with us and took us to the wrong gondola departure. She then argued that my fiance and I had to go on our gondola ride with two random people! Our guide then left two people in Venice!

What a great day. Our guide was friendly and informative. I'm so glad we took this tour rather than having to navigate our way around Venice by ourselves when we only had a short time to visit. The gondola ride was extra, but worth doing. We completely enjoyed our tour.
