it was one of those very wey memorable day, stood on the top deck , got soaked and watched the sound waterfalls come alive. Also saw dolphins including a mother and tiny calf.

Better organization or verbal explanation by staff at entrance of the reserved seating for the lunch.There was some confusion regarding reserved signs on some of the tables which were reserved for certain groups.

We saw an unexpected view of Milford Sound. Due to the rain, we saw torrents of water flowing off the cliff sides and the waterfalls were in full flow.

We actually didn't see Mitre Peak in its entirety because of low cloud, but the number of waterfalls in the area was amazing, literally hundreds! The tour guide was very obliging and quite happy for people to chat to him on the bridge. He took us very close to the edges of the sound for a closer look at the vegetation, wildlife etc.

Fantastic experience! Make sure you go to the top level of the boat to experience the true beauty of Milford Sound. The buffet was poor quality for the price, and you can purchase lighter options at a reasonable price.

We were booked to do the underwater observatory, but when we got there, we were told it wasn't available with the cruise we'd booked. I booked the cruise at that time because it supposedly included the underwater observatory.
