The driver was rude. I thought that it was supposed to be hotel drop off? He kinda gave me an attitude when I asked him to drop me off at the hotel and he ended up dropping me off at somewhere 'close?' to the hotel. The trip itself was okay.
Review: 2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better

Tour leader was very nice and shared lots of information. There could have been more suggested about things to see in the town we stopped to have lunch at. Lovely to see the change in colour of the folliage

This is an ok trip. If you're expecting actual mountains - think again. This is just a trip to some little towns, passing by some sky slopes and a mini cruise. It's an ok day out, but i expected something more from it....

Good tour, however would have liked more time on the Isle DÓrleans. Recommend this day trip as you get to see the countryside outside Montreal

Overall a very good trip though we did feel that the length of time spent in St Sauveur was excessive when there were so many other places that could have been visited. Courier excellent

Unlike many package tours, we had a lot of time at each spot and could freely enjoy the scenic beauty leisurely. The commentaries in English and French were good.It was a great idea to have a guide who grew up in the Laurentian mountains area.......He was very knowledgeable. And we loved the part when we were dropped close to our hotels at the end of a long day!

Lovely trip - weather not so good and bus broke down for 1 1/2 hr, I am sure on a better day and no breakdown it would have been a first class trip.

Our bus broke down, so we had to cut out some of the activities in order to make it back to Montreal by our scheduled time. BUT the tour guide was great and really did his best to make sure we had a wonderful time.

It was a lovely day trip out of Montreal. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive to all the passengers. There was also sufficient time to walk around although they should have warned us about the weather. It was much hotter up in the mountains than back in the city.

The view of the Laurentian Mountains was average, with not many houses or anything much to see, which made the cruise a tat boring, made worse by the heavy rain. When we saw the tour guide holding a huge umbrella waiting by the boat, we thought it was a very thoughtful gesture. Alas, she made her way back to the coach alone with the umbrella, and sat down to chit-chat, while the rest of the tourists struggled back to the coach, drenched by the rain. That was truly appalling service.

Great trip which shows just enough of the Laurentians - don't expect a day hiking through the wilderness, but a very pleasant day out to Montreal's playground, and a nice break from the city.

My trip to the Laurentian Mountains was very nice. We all loved the bus driver and the coach was new and quite comfortable. Our favorite part was the stop at the French town for shopping and eating. It was lovely. Also, the scenery was very pretty.

The driver was great, and very knowledgeable. I found it boring though. We live in northern British Columbia so it looked like home. The river cruise just showed homes along the river which didn't appeal to me. I loved the stop in St. Savieur! A cute place with good food and shops.

It rained for half the day, and the views weren't as scenic as in all their fall splendor on the website. The views on the lake weren't all that interesting, and we spent a lot of time on the highway instead of scenic side roads. Our guide was very good, and the little town we stopped in for lunch was very cute, but the whole thing was not fabulous.

Great if you are looking for a relaxing trip, good driver, nice scenery and coffee stop. Had lunch at a boulangerie rather than expensive tourist restaurant, fine if all you want is a snack.

Our coach driver was most irritating, talking for most of the journey with the passengers not interested in what he had to say! The boat trip was quite disappointing and whilst I can imaging that during Fall or winter the Laurentians would be beautiful in the Summer there wasn't really that much to see. The trip is advertised for longer than it is so you actually only get 2 hours free time to wander.

What a very nice day trip! It was leisurely and relaxing. Our driver/tour guide was excellent. We were able to do the lake cruise, which was very enjoyable as well. We stopped for a photo op and had a chance to get coffe at a little shop, which had the most delectable desserts. There was some for some shopping and lunch as well in the afternoon. All enjoyed the day.

Trip was disappointing. We had two buses and 100 people for the journey. No personal interaction. Stopped twice at the SAME village. Cruise was also disappointing. Wood burning stove on boat, with windows closed, made me nauseous.

It was a nice trip. The bus driver was cool, with hundreds of jokes. This trip provided a stop in a chocolate shop, a 50 minutes cruise, another stop to have lunch and buy souvenirs, and drop-off service to hotel. Definitely worth doing!

I was sorry that I did not book the Quebec City trip instead. It was only OK. I thought 3 hours in St Sauveur was far too much as there was nothing to do there; the shopping outlets were very poor. Our guide was the only good part; he kept us entertained the whole trip. The boat ride was only OK, not much to see.

Our bus driver was great. The stop in the town of Saint-Sauveur was much too long for what little the town had to offer, and the boat trip was uneventful. I was expecting to see more of the mountains and countryside. I would not recommend this trip.
