Jean was an excellent and amusing tour guide. The tour itself provided me with enough knowlege about the city that I was able to plan which attractions to go and visit independently and how best to get there. Excellent for someone who is in Montreal for the first time.

The weather was excellent and the tour informative and interesting. However it could have been formatted better because we should have been given more time in certain places whereas other spots could use lesser time.The guide was knowledgeable though at times spoke too fast. Overall it was satisfactory.

Jean was an excellent tour guide and handled the traffic complications of the St. Patrick's Day Parade very well. I wish the price had been a tad lower or the coupon more generous, but it was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone needing an overview tour of Montreal!

We were a bit concerned as our pick up at the hotel was late. The lines we had to wait in to trade our voucher for a ticket, and then to board the bus, were both rather lengthy. Once on the bus, our guide did a good job of giving us the history and other information at all the stops. This was a good overview of the city, but I'm glad I had time to walk around Old Montreal a bit more later.

Although the rainy weather during part of the City Tour was disappointing, the Tour was very comprehensive and it was great to be picked up at our hotel. The Driver/Guide was very informative and we learned a lot about the City of Montreal. We saw enough to be able to do some sightseeing, on our own, the next day and 1/2, prior to boarding our Holland America cruise along the St. Lawrence, all the way to Ft. Lauderdale. Thanks. Waste of money. One star because the guide/driver did know his Montreal history. His "humor" leaned toward the misogynistic, racist, and homophobic. And he was hatin' on those who did not tip. Mostly a drive-by tour with few stops and no chance to see the inside of any of the sites.

The Guide asked where everyone was from we were all from US or Australia but she still spoke in both English and French. If she only spoke in English we could have had more narrative and learned more about the area.

The tour started slow, with low interest items in town. However, then the tour picked up energy and had good sightseeing. We purposely selected a one-language tour (English), but some french-speaking tourists boarded, and for the first half-hour the tour description was bilingual, which slowed things down. The driver guide recognized the problem, and at an early stop he transferred the french-speaking people to another bus with french dialogue. Overall, the tour was good.

At no time prior to my arrival did Viator tell me that they were selling me a GrayLine Tour package._br/_ I thought Viator was an independent Tour Operator. When we arrive with the paid Viatour Coupon we still needed to wait in a very long line with others just purchasing tickets to convert the coupon to the required GrayLine Tickets. Next time I will just go directly to GrayLine Tours Online and be set.

A typical city tour with short stops. guide was english/french but no pause made in between so had to listen hard to when the english would be used again. not enough time given to stops. Cathedral only 10 minute stop and it was C$5 entry so not worth visiting inside..my main reason for going on the trip. It was so so and if you only have half a day then it may be worth it._br/_ didnt like having to ring to confirm 24 hours before. i was travelling around and so having to phone was not convenient. Having already paid they should be happy without the call. They need to look at that point especially for non US/Canadians. my mobile phone does not do toll free. Each call cost me upwards of £5 - I did 5 different tours!

Tour was good though not enough time spent at Old Montreal. Would have been better to spend more time here and less at the Biodome and going through Universities. Really, who cares what times the Law lectures are on, we're on holidays people!

Senior citizens from the United State knowinh absolutely no French-decided to take this tour! Amazing-picked us up promptly from our Hotel in Westmount drove us to Peel St. Got on the bus on time and even thought the City was involved in a marathon that morning -the company did everything the could for us to see all the beautiful city. Then when the very informative tour was finished we were promptly driven back to our hotel. The guide spoke very clear english and french and answered any questions that the group had-he was very informed! We would highly recommend this tour for young and old alike!

Absolutely loved our tour of Montreal. In a limited time span we saw so many features and learned so much. The tour appeared to be organized. It seemed that at least 25% of the time was spent driving from one destination to another. Also, some the the sights, specifically government bldgs... were not meaningful. Felt as though 50 % was a civic versus cultural tour.

Not enough stops and the one we stopped at "the cathedral" we couldn't get in as a service was in process. Moreover, the tour only lasted 21/2 hours and not 3 hours as stated. I felt a little cheated.

This trip was okay- not that great and ended up on bus more than the hours suggested. Didn't really see the museums or other buildings that were of interest. Not too inspiring- better to get on and off the bus perhaps.

Great tour, opportunity to see a lot of Montreal in a short span of time. We were given a half hour to spend at the Notre Dame Basilica which was great! We went on the tour on the first morning of our trip, a wonderful way to familiarize yourself with the major sites in Montreal.

The tour was excellent and the guide was superb. He was hilarious and made the tour much more fun. He would stop at places and stand up and give us details about history of the attraction etc. Very clear and loud as well. This is a good tour if you are short on time and without a car. Tour takes you to many attractions such as Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph's Oratory, Montreal Tower & Biodome, Mount Royal.

I never realised how big montreal was until I took this tour. there was no way we could have seen all the things we did on this tour in 2 days if we were on foot. It gives you a great idea of what is where and where else you might like to visit in more detail after the tour. excellent knowledgeable quide, multi-linguistic. stops and the major attractions with chance to stretch your legs and get some great photos.
