The drive was boring at best because the driver did not say a word. He only started talking at the end of the return trip when he was getting his tip. He also did not give us a bathroom break all the way back from Ottawa to Montreal and we were stuck in traffic for a good extra 30 minutes. I t was presumptous of him not to ask his passengers...some of us are on medications which requires bathroom break evrey 2 hours or less. The itinerary was luckluster.

Our trip to Ottawa was a great experience! The driver was very nice and to some extent - try to be funny as wel. The tour guide was quite a character but very entertaining throughout the whole tour that we were with her. It was very educational and at the same time - fun!

The tour was ok. but I felt that it was rather short. We had three hours of free time in the afternoon and some of that time could have been spent visiting other sites. Although we were given a map of the city and left downtown during our free time, if you don't know the city, it's difficult to get around. I also found it odd that eventhough we were touring Ottawa, the capital of Canada known for its govenment structures,a tour of the inside of Parliament was not included in this tour. Finally, we saw many beautiful sites but from the inside of the bus. We would have seen more if we had gotten off the bus more often.

The trip to Ottawa was okay; we had a knowledgeable tour guide and pleasant bus driver. However, there wasn't enough time to visit inside Parliament, which was disappointing. Also, our trip was cut short by 2 hours, instead of leaving Ottawa at 6p.m. we left at 4p.m. We paid for a 12 hour trip instead we got 10 hours. In the near future I hope Viator revises their itinerary.

Both the guide and driver were very knowledgeable and went out of their way to assist my father who has mobility issues. They allowed him to get the most out of the tours by informing him of the physical requirements of the various portions of the tour and providing alternatives for those activities requiring extensive walking or standing.

The trip to Ottawa was very good and I would recommend it. The stop for coffee and toilets just outside Ottawa was timely but as usual not many toilets in the ladies area (i.e. two) and the stop was very busy. Therefore difficult to get a snack and go to the toilet in time allotted. Our tour guide who joined us in Ottawa was very informative and funny. Instead of free time I would prefer to be dropped at the Parliament to take a tour there and then collected and taken to another venue such as Government House for the tour there. I am semi-disabled and cannot walk too far in a short time. If the tour continues in the same formula a map should be given to tour participants so they can confidently find their way about during free time.

Lady tour guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. A great listener too! In total, the tour was very good. Wish we were allowed to view the museum with the tour guide for an additional fee instead of having roamed in the Market Square, which was very obvious for anyone to check out by themselves.

The trip was interesting, but we were dropped off at a market pla ce and left there for a good deal of the time. Alsoo there was too much walking for us seniors. . There should be separate tours for seniors and younger people.

Except for the bus tours which were good, we are left too long on our own whereas this precious time could be spent visiting the Parliament, which we couldn't - it hadn't been organized for us - and other interesting historical monuments.

This was a very enjoyable trip, and a good way to explore the overview of beautiful Ottawa. The attentive and patient tour guide explained slowly the various sights we saw from the coach, seeking out particular sights that tourists from particular countries might want to see, and offered advicedirections for them during free-and-easy time.

We had a decent trip. Our bus driver was affable but understandably distracted, leaving for some half-told anecdotes and a limited grasp of much of Ottawa's history on our part. We enjoyed seeing many of the sights, such as the changing of the guard at both the Governor General's home and Parliament Hill, but we definitely felt rushed through the Canadian history museum. We ended up quite bored with Byward Market by the end of the day, and regretted missing the tour of the Governor General's home. Also, we had to walk to the war memorial ourselves, which was a bother. All in all, a positive experience. We really regretted that we only had an hour in the museum, especially since it was not included in the tour price, but we all learned a bit and got a decent overview of the city.

The confirmation phone number in Montreal was only good after 9am on a business day. When we finally got through to someone, she said to be ready at the Novotel Hotel at 7am. No one arrived. Finally got through to some dispatcher at 8am, who said they would send someone in a couple of minutes to pick us up. Because of street work, the driver had problems of access. He was rude and chewed out the hotel concierge, who had had nothing to do with the booking of the tour, since we had not been instructed to be at the corner instead of at the hotel. If I had not gotten through to the dispatcher, we would have missed the tour. There should be better and more effective instructions with respect to confirmation and pickup. Driver requested tips. If tips are to be given, this should be clearly stated in the preliminary paperwork.

It was definitely worth the trip. I really enjoyed the city tour although we had very little time in the museum. I thought the Byward Market was great, and we really did need 3 hours there. I visited the Notre Dame Cathedral, and it was magnificent. Our driver/guide was OK; he made sure to remind us on the way home about his tip, which is a big TURNOFF to vacationers. Found Canadians as a whole very pushy when it came to their tip, which is a big turnoff for visiting Canada again.

My friend and I enjoyed the trip. The guide was professional. The bus was not really clean, though. Our really big gripe was that we had only thirty minutes at the Museum of Civilization and then THREE HOURS at the flower market area. What a waste of time that was! And we could have been in the museum.

We only had a day in Ottawa, but that was better than not getting there at all. This trip was very informative and well organised. As always, you don't get enough time to see things like museums properly, and I would have liked that. Seeing only the outside of the Museum of Civilization was frustrating!
