Kremlin Grounds, Cathedrals and Patriarch's Palace Tour from Moscow

Moscow, Russian Federation

A great three hour tour exploring the Kremlin Grounds, Cathedrals and Patriarch's Palaces in Moscow!

The small city in the center of Moscow, once the residence of Czars and Patriarchs, contains Russia's main cathedrals, Assumption Cathedral, Archangel's Cathedral and the Deposition of the Robe Cathedral.

The Patriarch's Palace is a museum of seventeenth-century life and applied art, displaying ecclesiastical regalia, period furniture, gold and silver ware from Russia and Western Europe. The palace dates back to 1640 and incorporates the Church of the Twelve Apostles, which was the private place of worship for the patriarchs.

2012 dates are still being worked on. Please check back at a later date!

Tour purchased was supposed to start at 14:00, rescheduled for 15:00, local operator said 15:30 and we finally got into Kremlin at 16:30. Tour guide was terrible with whining voice and impossible Englishn

Great tour! Our guide, Felix, was very knowledgable and also funny. If possible, take the tour in the morning and then visit the Armoury and Diamond Fund both inside the Kremlin in the afternoon.

Our tour guide Natalya was excellent. Her command of English was superb and her knowledge was impressive. She was enthusiastic about the sights we visited and was very willing to answer questions. There were only three of us in the group so it felt like a private tour! The rendezvous point is easy to find and just off Red Square.

The guide was fantastic with a great knowledge about everything and history, but we did not do what was promised. The lunch was terrible and we did not see the Wax, neither did we have enough time at places. Also it was rainining so we could have caught a cold.

I did enjoy the tour. Our guide was entertaining and tried to make the tour interesting, and we walked at a pace adequate for the older visitors. The only thing I would say is don't do this tour if you already have some knowledge, as the tour is tailored to those who either have a negative view of Russia or no view whatsoever. I, who knew some of the history, was quite annoyed by the basic history we were being told and the constant explanation of stereotypes got a bit annoying although the US contingent of our group enjoyed it! Note if you want to see the Armoury -- the best and most expensive thing to see -- this tour does not include that!

You've got to see the Kremlin from inside the walls. And doing so with a such a knowledgeable and courteous guide made it even more fascinating. This was a very enjoyable tour and I learned a lot.

This was an excellent way to be introduced to the Kremlin. The walk and guide and information was great. This tour had enough time to stop, rest, take photos and you get great info from the guide during the tour. Must see and do!

Excellent, we had a knowledgeable tour guide and overall a great tour. It would have taken me days of exploring to have seen everything she showed us in a morning! The tour got off to kind of a late start because we waited for almost half an hour for participants who were late.

The tour guide certainly knew her material and kept the tour moving along and interesting. No sense of rushing, and having done a tour with a private guide 5 years ago, nothing was missed.
