Excellent tour, everyone should take it. The history of beer was very informative, the food was great! I liked the fact we got a tasting of various foods, not just 1 thing. Don't worry we left full. The guide was excellent as well Iian did a great job of keeping us together, taking with all of us and keeping us engaged.

Guide was fun and knowledgeable. Met some great people in our group and had beer with them at the end. The guide was not feeling very well and could not go to the final destination with us (Hofbrauhaus). The museum was much better than I thought it would be. It's in a very small house/tavern/restaurant that is very old.

My travel buddy and I were very fortunate to be the only ones on the tour with Amanda. It was a blast learning about not only the history behind Octoberfest and the city, but you get to taste beer, go through the beer museum and drink more beer! I love how you finish up at the Hofbrauhaus where you can stay until closing! Great way to kick off your first evening in the city! Thanks Amanda for a great tour!

Independent guide Kevin from USA was nice, warm and informative. He could answer most questions and took care of us pretty well, cracking jokes here and there and ensuring banter among our group, which contributed to lively atmosphere. Expect to be treated to over a litre of beer each and a smorgasbord of hams, cheeses, sausages

Our guide though knowledgeable, led us on a goose hunt by catching the tram ti the wrong stop then walking a fair distance to the right tram then having no room at the first beer hall, and having ti catch yet another tram to another pub. Did not know the Museum would be closed! Afraid it was only the other guests on the tour that made this trip enjoyable.

The guide without a plan or the necessary knowledge pretty much sums up our tour. The museum was closed due to some local public holiday, yet they sold us the tour. The guide was one of the most annoying people I have ever met in my entire life!

This was the worst tour we have ever taken_br/_ It was a walking tour and used public underground transportation and we were not returned to point of origin as tours usually do, but given a Pass to find our way back by subway. If you had said it was a walking tour We would never have taken it as my husband is not able to walk long distances. Our guide Kevin was more interested in his birthday the following day than taking care of his tourists. My husband and I had to leave the tour before we ever got to the restaurant for our dinner as my husband could not longer walk any further and Kevin was in a hurry for the group to get to the next subway. We were slowing down the group. We had booked this tour for 6 persons, ther rest of my party went on They said the food was good once they reached the restaurant, but had to pay for their beer. At the end of the tour they were given passes and told where they could catch the subway. My party could not find the place gave up and took a taxi to hotel One member went with Kevin to a bar with hi. After midnight he gave this young man who knew no German and first night in Munch a pass for the underground and told him where to get off, and left him at the station. The young man got confused and got off at the wrong spot. He rode the underground system all night long trying to find the place he needed to get off, finally coming up to a place he realized he recognized that was near our hotel. Getting back at 5:00 a.m. Very bad

If you're not comfortable walking around in a very safe city and just exploring a few beer gardens on your own you should take this tour. One of the stops clearly wasn't ready for our group so we had go crammed into a dining room and clearly made the customers eating dinner uncomfortable. Maybe I had too high of expectations based on the reviews I read prior to going.

Talk about shocked to be standing in the train station drinking a beer! Sure different from the U.S.. We all really enjoyed the night. The Octoberfest museum was amazing and the beer tasting really fun. The traditional German dinner was excellent. It's a night we will all remember for a long time. Amanda was amazing.

Our tour had nine people, 7 Americans and two Brits us and was led by Austin. We visited the Beer Museum a bar for food and the finished at the famous Hofbrauhaus. It was an entertaining, enlightening and fun evening which I would theoroughly recommend. It helps if you like beer but its not essential.

This was an excellent way to learn about and taste German food. Beer is food. It also took us to some very interesting places that we would not have found otherwise. Also, the leader spoke brilliant English and could answer every question thrown at her.
