Beginning from the Central Train Station, your guide will bike you around the best routes, tell you interesting stories and the perfect spots to stop for a quick drink. Start in Royal Munich where lies the great neo-classical plaza, Konigsplatz (Munich's Acropolis), and a few minutes from there is the equally imposing Odeonsplatz. Both are the legacy of King Ludwig I of Bavaria, a 19th century monarch who set out to put Munich on the map as a center of European royal grandeur. He dreamed of building a great city of Kings. He actually built a great city of cyclists!

From Odeonsplatz, you'll cycle through the picturesque royal gardens and on into the truly magnificent Englischer Garten, Europe's largest city park. In the midst of this, you'll stop at the famous Chinese Tower beer garden for refreshments. Then cruise along the lovely banks of the river Isar, which will finally lead you back into the heart of Munich's beautiful Old Town.

The charming old pedestrianized medieval streets that encircle Marienplatz wind around churches and markets and cafes and are a cyclist's haven. Exciting and refreshing. A wonderful way to get to know Munich. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, with many interesting facts to tell about each place we stopped. The break in the park where we had lunch could not have been a mroe perfect setting for the meal.

Best idea ever! Excellent way to see the city - saw MUCH more than we would have by just walking. The tour guide gave us enough time to take nice pictures as well. Highly recommend!

The tour guide worked very hard to please us. However, 18 bikers rode through the busiest town square and other tourist spots was a very bad idea. We are not professional bikers and had to fight the crowded road with buses, pedestrians, and skillful German bikers. I knew several people in our group were frustrated. I wish you could have split the group and hire an extra guide. The bicycle ride through English garden and along the river bank was very nice.

This tour was the best of the city bike tours we did (also did one in Paris and Amsterdam). Gertraud (our guide) was very knowledgeable and covered every inch of the city center. She provided the history of each spot we stopped at and answered our questions without hesitation.

This is by far the best way to explore Munich. As it was Easter Sunday, the city was very quiet, which was perfect for cycling. The English Garden was definitely not quiet, and our guide, Ian, was more than happy to sit with us for a couple of hours in the garden eating, drinking and chatting. We felt that Ian read the group extremely well and tailored the tour accordingly. Munich is a lovely city, and I cannot think of a better way to explore it than on a bike.

Our guide Jeff was great and because it was a small group he was happy to focus some of the ride on whatever the group wanted. We got to ride to the outskirts of the city and see more of the parklands and river than what might be included in a typical city ride. Easy pace for all types of riders.

I've lived in Muinich for the last 5 months but I am actually from England, I thought this would be a good way to orientate myself with the area, I was right! think the tour was very well organised, good fun and excellent value for money. I and my 2 friends, did the Oktoberfest on Monday and the bike tour on Tuesday, I really felt that the bike tour overwhelmed the previous day as it was a pleasure to ride through the streets of Munich, the gardens, past the monuments etc with Ian, our tour guide at the helm. I and my 2 friends enjoyed the atmosphere and the manner in which Ian gave us frequent breaks, one of my friends couldn't cycle too well due to a previous knee injury but Ian spaced out the tour well so that it wasn't too tiring, the ride through the 'English' garden with a lunch break at one of the 'biere gartens' etc. Ian, our guide made the entire experience a delight !

This tour is so informative, and you really feel part of the culture. The beauty of Munich is seen truly at eye level. Wonderful. The average person is able to handle the biking well.

Definitely a great way to see some of the city where the buses don't go. Our tour guide was exceptionally friendly, informative and made the tour great. The ride through the English Gardens and along the river was awesome and she pointed out many sites and explained them in detail.
