Unfortunately we felt like we were waiting forever until the bus came. Due to the time of the year, it runs less often so we understood. Once on the bus, we enjoyed the panorama of Munich and learned a lot about its history. Well worth the money.

The tour was not in English. Nor was it an option on the bus. The guide spoke in german and thought she could speak English. But no she could not. It was a complete waste of money. Most of these tours offer you headphones which this did not and we could bot understand a word. Seriously we understood our trip in Paris and Rome with no problem but that was a different company. What a waste.

This is a good way to see Munich however I did not particularly enjoy this. The meeting place was across the road from KARSTADT however this was due to construction work. We also went to many other tour companies before finding the correct blue tour bus.

This was so much fun. After a full day and 1/2 of the second day hopping on and off and seeing the things we wanted we decided to take the last 1/2 of the 2nd day to simply ride and listen and we learned so much in addition to the first guide we had on day 1. Each guide adds their own knowledge so we felt we got as much as possible out of the 2 day hop on/hop off bus tour. This is a very good tour using the 2 days rather than just 1 day.

I wasn't impressed with the Munich Bus Tour - there were two buses - the Express Tour that stops at all the main spots around the city center, and the Grand Tour that stops at the places that are further out (BMW Museum, Olympic Grounds, etc). I found both guides very difficult to understand as they seemed to focus on German first, and by the time they got to English, we'd already passed whatever it was that they were describing. It also felt as though their descriptions in German were a lot more detailed than in English. I would have much preferred an audio guide in English that was more comprehensive.

It was really not good. We were never told by the guide that if we wanted to tour the BMW factory it had to be done by a certain time. Also when dropped off there we were told to just take the walking bridge over to the Olympic Stadium and to meet by the bathroom area. Knowone we asked knew where this pick up point was and we spent well over two hours trying to find it and then just returning to the BMW pickup point that we knew. Our first guide gave very little info or history as we drove by areas. We did visit the Palace for the one hour stop. Only our last tour guide gave any real info or history that was useful We had wanted to go to the Beer Gardens but she told us that by this time in the afternoon we would not be able to make it back to the pickup and it was a long walk and probably most would be closed by this time in the day. It was a real waste of money and I would not recommend it to anyone.

On the day chosen, the Munich marathon was on, which eliminated about half the normal bus route. The "express" tour would have been much better value.

Great way to see the city. We were there during Oktoberfest and that didn't interfer at all like I thought it might. Able to see the main points of the city and then were able to decide where we wanted to explore more.

It was well organized and informed._br/_ The Grand tour touched all important places with good bus timings the whole day so that tourists can visit the places of their likngs._br/_ However the tour should also include Arena Olympic stadium.

A great way to familiarize yourself with the city. I did the extended tour twice in 1 day and had plenty of time to take in the sights and saw different perspectives each time. A beautiful city notably for the absence of high rise buildings. The city is full of light and trees and on a sunny day as we had, it's a glorious way to sightsee without the pain of walking miles. GOOD BUT IT WAS RAINING. WE ASKED THE BUS DRIVER IF IT WAS THE CORRECT BUS AND HE DIDN'T KNOW. WHEN WE GOT TO ANOTHER PLACE AND GOT OUR TICKET , TURNS OUT IT WAS THE CORRECT BUS.

We were signed up to do the grand tour but arrived in Munich too late so could only do the short tour (1hr) was a blessing - we asked the driver for ear phones so we could select our language and hear his reply "no that's life" we took our seats and then a woman with a microphone guided us through in german and strange english - not particularly enjoyable but did the job

We did the "Grand" Munich City Tour which allowed for the first part of the tour on one bus and then switching to a 2nd inner circle city tour bus. The outer circle - first part of the tour was great given the guide was very informative an gave equal time to explaining the sights in both English and German. The inner city portion was a different story in that the guide obviously found having to give an English portion an inconvenience and only gave us the English description after we passed the sight being described and with that we got 1 or 2 sentences when the German description appeared to be much more descriptive and extensive. The guide actually kept asking are there still English speaking people on the bus which came across that we were a nuisance and inconvenience and that she was hoping there were not any so she wouldn't have to provide an English account at all.

The buses were always crowded, you would be lucky to find a seat. Some of the guides spoke too fast, others had the speaker volume to low. To be honest, if I hadn't taken this tour I don't think I would have missed much.

This is best way to tour Munich. However, they do this tour in 2 languages. Some guides jump quickly from English to German without breathing or pausing. So if you miss out on the narration, just hop off the next stop and hop on to another bus with a better guide.

This tour is a great way to get you oriented with Munich and many of the historical sites around the city in a short amount of time. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly, and spoke very good English. They even gave some advice on some of the places to eat. My wife and I woudl've actually done this tour for the two day option had we had more time, but we were only in Munich for a few days and had other places to go to already booked. We will definitely do this tour again next time we go to Munich!
