Informative, interesting, and enjoyable - a great way to begin to get the feel of the city before more in depth investigating.

You cannot hop on hop off when the next bus only comes two hours later. In other cities, your tours are more frequent

I did not care for this tour at all. The city was very dirty and I did not feel safe to walk around and explore. We also Googlemapped to find where the starting poing was (Piazza Municipal) and was very confused. The starting point was Castle Nuovo (the one in the picture) and we had to take a cab from the train station to get there. We had carefully planned out our train ride times from Rome to Naples to make it to the tour when it first started, only to find out they totally changed the times listed on Viator. So DON'T go by this!! I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Staff seemed more interested in standing around talking then leaving at the scheduled times. We waited 20min on the 1st bus, then 25min on the 2nd bus. This made us very hesitant in getting off at the different stops as we knew the buses wouldn't arrive as timetabled. Not that there was much to see at the stops anyways. Very unprofessional.

Able to get onto all the routes and found the attendants very helpful in assisting visitors to find their way around etc. This was quite a fast paced HOHO though compared to some others in Italy.

The route for line B was beautiful, but there was no good place to hop off and enjoy the scenary. Plus, we did not want to get off the bus at any stop because next bus would be coming much later. We stayed in the bus during the entire tour. Line A was not interesting. There really was not much to hop off for. The tour did not cover much, and we had to wait quite some time after circuit B and before circuit A - the two lines did not intersect except where they both start.

Some of the routes better than others. staff didnt seem particularly interested. The Bay of Naples is beautiful so the tours that climbed up on all sides gave great views. Old town tour ,disappointing commentary. So be selective about which ones. Probably better to walk around old town.

Have used Viator many many times but this bus tour was not good because one of the stops had been discontinued even though the sign was still there and we waited for over 30 mins. Once we found another stop we waited for it for over 30 mins also. Timing for the Naples bus needs to be improved. Also there MUST be a stop near the central train station. The actual start point requires a taxi or bus to get there and yet the train station is the central transport hub.

Well organised and enjoyable. Friendly helpful staff. Really liked the Italian music on the headphones during the commentary breaks! Would not hesitate to use your company again. Thanks.

The tour was nice. I was able to see a lot Naples given the limited time I had because of an earlier tour and limitations imposed by embarkation times set by the cruiseline. I was unable to print the details of the receipt from my computer, however. As a result, it took me and someone else in my party awhile to be allowed on the bus for the tour.

This was our first trip to Naples and the hop-on-hop-off bus tours were the ideal way to get an overview of the city. We managed comfortably to do 3 of the 4 tours in one day and the courier on the first tour bus was excellent.....the others were fine too!

We enjoyed the tour. Our only complaint was how fast the bus sped through the route; too fast. The speed did not allow for pictures or leisure enjoyment.

I was staying in a hostel and couldn't print off my voucher. This made it impossible for the workers there and I spent an hour and a half commuting around Naples trying to print it off. The tours were fine; I got what I payed for but, don't expect staff to go out of their way for you. I truly hope this was a one-off for this company.

regretfully the weather was not very warm so upstairs was closed and the windows keep fogging up downstairs. Did not get a very good bang for my buck. Couldn't see the sights because half the time they were talked about long before we got there. Not a good tour.

It was a great tour, especially with the added Saturday extra tour. It was cold and rainy so nobody got off the bus. Saw parts of Naples we would never have seen.

Outstanding elevated views of the city....one could never cover the ground on foot. We even bought a CD of the background music as a momento of our tour. No problems with our on-line booking ticket. Will definitely use Viator or their reps again.

The low frequency of the bus did not allow us to use this service to the extent we wished. While hop-on hop-off services are a very good idea in many cities, Naples is not one of them. The city does not give visitors a warm feeling with streets lined with garbage and graffitti.

Using the voucher was simple with no complications. Although the route of the combination trip (harbour and bus tour) was not clear from the prepackaged description the timing allow us to view the changing of the Guard at the Ameliaborg Palace. I would recommend this service and tour to others.

the head set system is poor & eratic & staticy and English is not the same number on every bus how stupid is that ........at one point we we sitting inside instead of on top and the driver & attendant we talking yelling to each other so loudly in Italian that we could barely hear the headset. They were so wrapped up in their conversation they never announced the stop numbers we don't speak Italian and had no idea what stop we were at. The bus was dirty .........when we got on there were head sets, soda cans, water bottles, maps and whatever else all over the floor up on top. We just assumed that a cleanliness check was only done once a day.............We also concluded that since Naples was so dirty that the tour bus fell right into place !! Sorry, not what you wanted hear, I'm sure........on a brighter note, the Hop-On Hop-Off in Rome was great.

We planned to pick up the tour at the Duomo stop, which we understood to be an option and which according to our information was closest to the Napoli train station. Apparently this is no longer a stop for City Signtseeing but only a "shuttle" stop. We were allowed on the shuttle but there was no commentary, everyone conversed in Italian. We got off at the archeological museum, looked at all the exhibits, and waited at the City Sightseeing sign outside. When a shuttle arrived, the driver told us we needed to find a different bus, like the picture. He gave us a brochure and so we waited and waited for the "real" bus to arrive. We had hoped to use this tour to get an overview of Naples but after seeing only the section from the archeological museum to the Piazza Municipio we were told to get off the bus. We waited around at the Piazza and finally another bus took us a through some of the route we had already seen and dropped us off, saying it was the end of the tour. Our intention to see the city was dashed we could have taken a cab to the museum for the cost of this "tour".

Very difficult to find. The location was vague. The sign for Piazza Municipio was found 1 and a half hours after getting into Naples train station. I wanted to take in the long tour but did not have enough time because I had a train at 7pm.

At the season we went, there were no longer three different bus tours and these are far between in terms of frequency. On rainy days, even if not raining at that moment, the number of passengers are limited to the number of seats in the lower section so that we tried to get a seat in the morning and not able to get seats. We did manage to get on board late in the afternoon so that we were not able to take advantage of the other route.

We were interested in seeing Caravaggio's painting in Pio Monte della Misericordia and the bus let us off close to Via Tribunale where the church is located nearby. The museum at the church was a bonus where they had a cold drink and a clean restroom.

The tour is a good idea for people with a decent sense of direction that want to explore Naples on their own. Overall we enjoyed the tour and the option of either riding or getting off was convenient as our group age range varied. I was disappointing that one of the routes was closed the day we visited the city. Also, the wait between buses was overlong. We waited over an hour for a bus at one point. However, the staff was helpful and friendly and the tour was a lot of fun.
