Nassau, Bahamas

Escape from the hustle and bustle of Nassau and enjoy a scenic boat ride on a triple deck catamaran and travel Nassau's picturesque waters en route to Rose Island. Head towards this remote island and take part in various beach and water activities. With stunning nature and tropical fish, Rose Island offers something for the entire family!

You'll have the opportunity to snorkel over the coral reefs and take amazing pictures of the local, tropical aquatic life. Or, you can spend the day on land relaxing on a sun-drenched beach, exploring the island's winding paths and tidal pools and sipping on cocktails!

When you are hungry, your guide will prepare lunch for you. Savor the local flavors of a sumptuous lunch buffet accompanied by two fully stocked cash bars.

After lunch, stretch out in a hammock under a palm or have a cocktail and enjoy magnificent island views from the palm-shaded deck. There are also several activities such as guided snorkeling tours and beach volleyball which you could participate in. Kayak rentals are available (not included in tour price) as well.

As you cruise homeward, enjoy a cocktail on the boat's upper deck after a perfect day on a remote Caribbean island!

Nice boat ride, beautiful island, good food and drinks, lots to do and great staff. Well worth the money. Would do it again.

We had beautiful weather, trip took 45 mins to and from, nice catamaran but pretty full. The lunch was great, snorkeling wonderful. Glad we picked this trip! The only thing I would say is maybe that there could have been a few more chairs on the beach and that this trip would be hard for people with limited mobility, otherwise it was great!

My husband and I had the best time ever. The tour bus from the hotel to the boat was on time. The weather was perfect and the other passengers very friendly. The island was simply beautiful. The sand under your feet felt just like baby powder. Lunch and snorkeling was great. So if you are between 60 and 70 and in good shape go.

It was the highlight of our trip to The Bahamas! The island is beautiful, the food was good and the staff was very friendly. The only thing is that I wish they could make the stay on the island longer than 5 hours. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

the location itself was peaceful and beautiful.. the hammocks need to be updated, can't sit on them without putting down blanket so rough... ocean was rough and unless you go snorkeling you weren't going in ocean water, beach was washed up by ocean.

All the positive reviews previously posted are absolutely true! This was the best part of our vacation. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Breathtaking views and plenty of places to relax and take in the scenery. I didn't want to leave. I would definitely go back.

My family and I took this trip and thought it was amazing! From 5 to 65 we all had a blast! Worth the money and such a fun day. The boat ride was beautiful and the island was breath taking. We took the guided snorkel tour and then went back later on our own. Lots of pretty fish and sea creatures to see. The beach was beautiful and the lunch was yummy. I would recommend this tour to anyone and would even do it again.

This trip was the best part of our Bahamas vacation. Rose Island is a little piece of paradise... quite unlike Nassau. The lunch was delicious and the snorkeling was fun. I would return to Rose Island any day!

The island was absolutely gorgeous the snorkeling was terrible. but the island was GREAT, If we had to do it all over again we would of stayed solely on the island and forgot everything else. The food was soso....The ride over was pleasant but the boat was old and dilapidated....

The trip was nice. I missed maybe a tour guide, explaining a bit Nassau and Rose Island. Also, a couple of drunken people were disturbing the boat trip.

The excursion itself was amazing! Beautiful ride to and from Rose Island, great food, and not crowded. I went with my boyfriend and we spent the day relaxing on the beach and drinking at the small bar. Snorkling, kayaking and tubes were available for rent but we didn't get any. Only thing I would advise is if you are going from the cruise ports, take a taxi to and from the port. The transportation was decent but taxis are so cheap we took one to ensure we made our boat on time.

I loved the private Beach at Rose Island. It's clean, quiet and absolutely beautiful. The staff on the cruise were helpful and friendly. The lunch was good. I thought the Boat could have been a little cleaner, especially the bathroom it could also use a good coat of paint.

This was the last adventureexcursion I did on my vacation. It made me want to move here! I've even been researching trying to find out the process to work and live there for six months. The value for the fee paid was AMAZING. Charming details such as hammocks set up to relax in almost anywhere you wanted, snorkeling available, I did the kayaking and it was GREAT!!! Then relaxing at the beach bar after kayaking, making new friends, sigh.... I'll be back for sure! I recommend saving this excursion for last, otherwise you might want to stay on Rose Island and never leave!

This was some of the best money I spent in the Bahamas. Just an awesome laid back day on cool little island. Snorkeled, it was ok, had a few beers at the bar that has an incredible view! Took a nap in a hammock. It was just perfect. Would do it again in a second. I have no idea why anyone would not give this a 5 star review. Oh, did I mention how much the kids loved it? Even more then I did.

This cruise was a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of New Providence and Paradise Island. Rose Island itself was pretty amazing - beautiful beach on one side and crystal clear reef on the other perfect for even the most inexperienced snorkeller!. The island crew have everything sorted for you - snorkelling gear, kayaks etc. More importantly, the bar staff do know how to make a daiquiri! What you don't have any control over is the crowd that you share the day with. We were lucky to have quite a mallow mix of families and couples, but apparently the day before there were a couple of hundred spring breakers taking over the island! That probably wouldn't have been ideal. Highly recommend this as a perfect way to spend a day in the Bahamas. If you want to be the only two people on the island, it's probably not for you. Pay the premium for a charter if that's the experience you're after.

I went with my mother. I'm not a strong swimmer, and she doesn't swim at all, but the captain was great at reassuring us that we'd be fine. I loved it, the cruise itself was wonderful, the boat was cool and the island was great with lovely beaches between occasional cliffs. Between sips of wine and lazy Caribbean music played by the band, we lay on the beach. The lunch was good--although they had no vegetarian options for me. Some people went snorkeling, definitely would recommend for those looking for a chillaxed day.

More facilities should be available at the beach location, such as shaded areas or beach umbrellas, lounge chairs, etc. New dining area was under construction, so it was quite noisy while we were there. Also, it should be noted this is not a tour for those with any kind of physical limitations as there were about 75 stairs to climb and then a long walk over uneven paths to get to the beach.

The boat ride was enjoyable thanks to a great band. The snorkeling was good and we saw a lot of fish. One of the men in the band taught my son how to open coconuts, and we ate some, and drank the milk. Lunch was average. After lunch there wasn't much to do. I didn't want to get wet again, so I watched my son open coconuts.

The cruise was a great activity for the entire family! The tranquil sail to Rose Island prepared us for the fun in the sun on the private beach. The local musician kept all in the Bahamian mood, as we pulled up to the dock. The beach area was clean and the water was crystal clear. Snorkels and masks were readily available and small rafts were available for a nominal fee. The lunch was outstanding, plentiful, and well received after a morning of swimming. The sun drenched beach and hammocks were welcomed activities after lunch, then a quick splash in the water before we boarded for the return trip.

Beautiful island, friendly people, and one of the most wonderful beaches I have ever seen. The food was good, and the cruise very relaxing. You could laze out on the sundeck or listen to a band playing inside. The only downside was that the day went by too fast.

Boat was packed with college students. Island was nice, just lots of people. Good snorkeling. Food OK. Good entertainment, though played a lot of American country and would rather listen to Bahamian steel drums. It was very hot! Rather had stayed at Atlantis all day to ride lazy river.

Not as good as Exuma powerboat, but there was live music on the boat. There were not enough snorkeling fins for everyone and the lunch could have been better. The free drinks of lemonade and white wine were ok but free water would have been better. The snorkeling at the island was just ok because the reefs were dead with few fish. But for the price it is a nice cruise with a good band on the boat and the hammocks were nice.

It was good for my children, 14 and 11, because this was their first time and they didn't know what to expect. I was disappointed that no instructions were given and people were not instructed not to walk all over the coral reef. I was very sadden to see all of the dead coral. I wish there were more flotation devices so that we could have ventured off shore a little more and seen more of a variety of creatures. The boat ride was longer than advertised. The island was beautiful and the views during lunch were amazing I just expected more from the snorkeling. The music on the boat and on the island was very relaxing. The picture taking was a nice touch but the cost to buy one picture was unfair. I didn't have an extra 40 in my pocket to buy the package and probably would not even if I did. A couple of pictures would have been nice maybe 2 for 10. Overall we had a nice time but probably would not do it again.
