here is the problem I had. We booked a 3 day pass in New Orleans for 3 days starting on Feb 20. On arrival on the 19th we found out that everything is closed on the Feb 21 due to Mardi Gras and this would not be a problem but we were flying out at 6:00 Am friday morning. We compained to Power Pass that this was unfair and they did come through and did issue us a 1 day pass so we could complete the 3 day pass without losing a day, but be aware. Power Pass will not tell you that there is a holiday and everything is closed and in my opinion they should be letting people know. We would have booked this differently if we would have known.

The pass was good, lots of things to do and see. My only complaint was the plantation and swamp tours did not have transportation. Ticket agent did not seem to know how or who could provide transportation. We finally got a hold of tour itself and they provide transportation at an additional $30 per person and that was only because we did both the swamp tour and plantation tour in one day. I think it is realistic if you want to do all the tours out of town it will cost you an additional $100 if you do not have your own car.

i had trouble recieving my pass from the counter because i was on the road and didnt have a printer to give them my confirmation, but since the website said i could show her my smart phone since the company had everything on file i didnt anticipate a problem, but i waited over an hour to straighten out the purchase and started my vacation frustrated. the things you CAN do on the trip sounded great until you realize everything is kinda far apart and tours are only once a day and some overlap since they are run by different companys. not to metion traffic and parking everywhere. attrations closed very eary at 4-5 pm too. expect to get 2-3 attraction in per day. overall would not recommend.

I recommend the Power Pass but just want to point out that one of the activities advertised was no longer offered. I think the company should update its website more often.

The selections were numerous and good but the daily time limitation was too difficult to see most unless one had available transportation and parking ... but using Public transportation made it difficult.

We bought the five day pass. I saved so much money and the trip was a vacation of a life time!! It was so easy using the cars we recieved. They scan my card at each stop and handed me the tickets. The secret is to do your homework before you leave. Read about the many different attracktions and the dstes and times. This will make your plans run smoother. If you go on the steamboat sit on the port side.

This was a good deal and I'm glad we purchased the Power Pass. However, there were certain advantages listed on the web site which we did not receive. There were no coupons available for dining or other attractions as listed on the site. When we asked about Power Pass owners getting "front of the line" priviledges, we got a "you've got to be kidding" look. Oh well...still we took advantage of the pass and had a good time!

Very good value for money - The Grator tour we would highly recommend. Paying the extra money to be picked up from your hotel was well worth it, the guys are fun and entertaining with lots of surprises.

The Power Pass was not worth the money!! Some of the tours that were advertised on the web site, and in their pamphlet, did not qualify for the Pass when we inquired about them. Nowhere was it mentioned that transportation to some of the sites was not included in the Pass....an extra $20.00 per person! This was false advertising on the part of Viator! New Orleans was amazing, the Power Pass.......a rip off!!!

Power pass is great for the money. There is so much to do in New Orleans and this is the cheapest and best way to go. Have already told several people about Power pass and will tell everyone I know who visits.

The promo "buy now through Oct.1 and recieve a free entree at Bubba Gump's" was a hassle. We had to go to Greyline for the power pass who had no idea about the promo, then to Bubba Gump's who turned us away and had to contact the company. We were able to get the free meals but with reimbursement in which we had to pay up front. The passes took a long time to work at most places we went to, but all in all saved us a lot of money. Worth doing if you plan to do many different attractions while you are in New Orleans.

Since the attractions are mostly open 10a-5p, it's extremely difficult to use your Power Pass efficiently without considerable planning. The only advantage is that you would have a tendency to go into an attraction with only an hour of the day left, something you probably wouldn't do if you were buying a ticket. I wouldn't do it again.

This was a great way for us to make sure we got out and saw and do as much as we could do. Some of the tours did not provide transportation, and we were not aware of this, such as the out of town tours to the plantations. We would have been willing to pay the tour operator to go with them, but this was not an option.

Some tours were advertised as included yet did not include transportation. A free lunch was also advertised after purchase yet the restaurant did not honor or know anything about it. I lost one complete day of the pass because of rain and so I think the 3 consecutive days should not be a must.

The ghost tour we took was boring. The woman doing it just talked about herself and her opinions and not about the ghost stories. The steam boat was nice but we had to pay $10 extra for the food.

I loved having access to all the places but most of them you need a car to drive to get there. They are not within walking or even trolley distance which adds to the cost. I would also say make sure you plan plan plan because a lot of these items overlap in times and if I could do it over again I would not have spent the money on this for my first trip to New Orleans. There is so much to see in and around the French Quarter you really could do these things on your second trip. We did go to the Aquarium which was great! Insectarium I think it was called. That was cool to go into the Butterfly Room with live butterflies flying around. Highly recommend doing the Cooking Class because that was lots of fun and tasty.

The Power Pass was a great investment and addition to our visit. We saw and toured many more attractions than we would have without it in New Orleans. I kept track of the amount we saved by using the pass and it was 100. The important part is to plan out your days and attractions ahead of time to make the greatest use of it since many attractions overlap on times, and to make sure you can make it from one destination to the next on time. Well worth the money! The only thing to watch for on your credit card bill is a foreign transaction fee. When I called and questioned this since there were "no hidden fees", they said they would credit me the amount since I booked it in American currency. If booking overseas, there is a transaction fee to be aware of which was 20.

I truly enjoyed New Orleans. Using the pass was cost effective, but it forces you to rush the whole time since it only lasts a certain amount of days and to get your money's worth you have to book 2 tours per day plus an evening tour. We missed so many of the houses and historical things because the tour times overlapped. The ghost and spirits tour was the least worthwhile because it was just a glorified evening city tour. Not very exciting at all. The New Orleans cooking school was the most interesting. The meal was excellent.

I would suggest anyone considering using the Power Pass to get the pass at least a day or two before you plan to use it. That way you can plan for its maximum usage. A few of the tours we wanted to take were not offered because of a lack of reservations. Even with these shortcomings I still would suggest getting one.

This was our 1st trip to NOLA. We had a great time because we had so much to do thanks to the PowerPass. We purchased the 3-day pass. We were able to plan our main sightseeing within those 3 days. We recommend that you plan in order to get the full benefit out of the pass. Make sure you verify the address and the location of the attraction because some of the addresses are not listed which would be helpful and one of the icons on the map was not in the right place. There was one attraction that my wife really wanted to go to, however, after we arrived we found out that it was closed for 2 weeks for renovations. This was not mentioned on the pass. Also, verify the days and hours of operation; some of the venues are not open on certain days and are only during certain hours. One last thing we ran into was that not all of the locations have the machines to read the PowerPass. So, be patient because they will have to manually log the usage of the pass. Other than those few unpleasantries, we had a GREAT time in NOLA. Hopefully, you will too.

It was pretty good, but would have been better if the things we wanted to do weren't all piled up as far as time. Also, my children got in free to some things, so we wasted money on my youngest child's pass!

It was worth it, but only because we worked hard to make it work. Many items overlap on times or are only available on a limited schedule. So it took planning to make it work. Also, some places are free to enter so it is a bit cheesy to include them on the list of places accessible with the pass. Also, some are so far away - and transport was not covered or discounted by the pass - making it too expensive to use, not to mention the time that was required. The other problem was that you really didn't know what was included until you activated your pass and received your brochure.

The Power Pass was a great idea. I think it is new in New Orleans; a lot of places didn't know about it, and we went on 4 different tours and only one was a problem, and I would like to think that's because maybe this Power Pass is new to the area.

We originally booked the New Orleans Power Pass in March of 2007 and ended up coming down with the flu and spending the entire trip sick in the hotel room. Viator was so great when we got home we e-mailed them and explained the situation. We were told to let them know when we decided to re-book. Soon after, we got pregnant with our third child and didn't travel during the pregnancy. An opportunity came up for us to take a vacation 14 months after the initial booking. One email to request if we could still take the booking and we were told all we had to do was pick the day. We didn't have to pay anything extra for changing the initial travel plans or for anything else. Absolutely no hassles at all and everything advertised was included exactly as promised. The only thing that I would have done differently was to get the pass for more than two days because it definitely saves a ton of money! Thanks for taking care of us as a customer and keeping to every word in your advertisement.

We had more fun than I have had in years. We visited the aquarium, swamp tour, children's museum, Katrina City tour, and did the cooking class. We saved so much money and the pass was amazing. We ran out of time, there were so many things left we wanted to do. I love the city of New Orleans. We did about six hundred dollars worth of things for just over three hundred.

Everyone should make the effort to come to New Orleans. I think many people have the wrong impression of the current state of the City. It was a fantastic trip and the people of New Orleans are extremely friendly and genuinely glad to have visitors there.
