We have done many different tours in New Orleans that we have enjoyed, but this one is by far our favorite. Joe was our guide and he is so informative and great to talk with. He never rushed you, but kept the tour moving. On our next visit to New Orleans we will book this tour again!

Interesting and informative with a chance to look behind the facade of some of New Orleans oldest bars and restaurants. For me the chance to see the private rooms really added to the tour. There was ample opportunity to sample the drinks discussed at each place - enough drinks to have a fun time without going over the top. My favourite drink was the Bayou Bash at the Court of Two Sisters served by the creator, the fabulous Charles.

The absolute favourite of our trip! Joseph was amazing, the tour was great, the drinks were awesome. They say it is not a drinking tour, but I would disagree on that. Found lots of great places to revisit. Excellent!!!!

Five stars for sure! And if you get Joe as your guide a 10+ star! Not just a history on the cocktails of the city but a great informative tour of the city itself. Recommend to take this tour as soon as you arrive - gives a great layout of the city for the rest of your stay. Definite must!!!!

Entertaining tour- saw lots of behind the scenes in some amazing bars. Drinks very expensive though for what they were $10 for a couple of inches in plastic cups and not the cocktails that we were expecting. In fairness the tour guide did say we were under no obligation to buy, but tour seemed pretty pointless without tasting the drinks!!

Joe was an amazing tour guide! Having never been to New Orleans, this tour opened our eyes to more than just Bourbon Street and gift shops. This tour brings you into some of the nicest resuraunts and bars in the French Quarter area. I would definately go on this tour again when we visit the city.

Our tour guide was excellent. It was obvious that he loves what he is doing and the tour never gets old for him. He told us soooo much more than just about cocktails. He told us alot of history about the places we visited also. I'd do this tour again.

The tour was good. We had the originator of the tour as our guide and he was extrememly knowledgeable about New Orleans. We received one small cocktail and the rest of the bars you paid for the drink. We were glad for the experience.

We had a great guide who really knows her stuff when it comes to cocktails! I think the feel of the tour would vary depending on the makeup of the group. For me, it was the perfect balance between drinking as much as you like, without being rowdy, walking around historic areas, seeing lovely pub interiors, and hearing lots of background on the drinks we had the option of trying. As a single, young female, I felt very comfortable and included. Highly recommended.

This tour is probably VERY different with a large group, or with a group who only want to drink fast, but since it was just two of us, this was the tour highlight of our trip. Our guide knew so much interesting history of the cocktails and the establishments that made them famous, and imparted it in a way that was truly delightful. Wouldn't have missed it for the world, even with the freezing cold and rain.
