NBC Studio Tour

New York City, United States of America

Take the NBC Studio Tour that's been wowing lovers of radio and TV since 1933. You'll learn about NBC's early radio days and its transition into television during this tour of the New York studio's operations.

This historic tour takes you through the halls and into the studios of NBC's New York operations. An NBC page will be your guide to the world of the Peacock Network. Some NBC pages have gone on to become famous entertainment personalities, including Willard Scott, Ted Koppel, Regis Philbin, Steve Allen, Marcy Carsey, Kate Jackson, Michael Eisner, and Dave Garroway.

The first stop on the tour is the NBC History Theater, where your NBC page will tell you about the network's early sound-effects techniques. Then Katie Couric and Matt Lauer (on video) will take you down memory lane to show you NBC's past and present.

The tour gives you the opportunity to visit some of NBC's most famous studios such as Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Today Show, Football Night in America and MSNBC. Also included is a viewing of:

  • Studio 3C: Home of NBC Nightly News
  • Studio 3B: Home of Dateline
  • Studio 3K: Home of NBC Sports
  • Studio 8H: Home of Saturday Night Live

Note: Studio availability is limited to those studios that are not being used at the time of the tour. Typically, two or three studios are available for viewing, but this is not guaranteed. There is a maximum of 30 people per tour.

Special Offer - The price you see is the price you pay! Other sites charge up to $5 per person in service fees for this attraction. BOOK NOW and save! - Book Now!

This was definitely the way to get tickets. If you try to get tickets that day, it won't happen, just make sure you call the number on the voucher to schedule your tour. I think it happens a lot where people don't call in and just show up with the voucher and they are also out of luck.

Worth the money and time if you like SNL, Jimmy Fallon, or Dr. Oz. Those were the studios we saw.

I absolutely loved this tour. You begin by watching a short history on the company and then we were taken round by 2 excellent guides who were extremely friendly and funny. We were taken to numerous sets including Jimmy Fallon and SNL, and it was great to hear the history about them and why they are set up in certain ways. A definite must for any TV fans!

This was fun, we saw the various studios at NBC, it's so small in real life compare to TV.

Was a good tour and both the tour guides were very knowledgeable about all the studios and gave a good insight into the running of NBC Studios. The only downside was that, being from the UK, it didn't cater for the international tourist with focus on programs that are shown primarily in the US.

Having the voucher and calling 24 hrs ahead allows you to reserve a specific tour time in advance so minimal waiting. Worthwhile visit seeing behind the scenes of a TV studio. You get to visit 4 sets and learn about many of the aspects of how they make the set look the way it is. Small groups of ~ 30 people with 2 guides.

booked the tour choosing a date, the booking did say to ring 72 hours prior but as we only arrived the day before the chosen date was told on confirmation that the tours for that day were full. We had to book another day and change our plans for both days. the tour guides were very knowledgeable and good fun with the children at the end doing the news reading and weather person being recorded but wished that there had been more activity going on in the studios to get a better feel of what they are like when in use. would recommend but not the best I have been on in the City.

Viator made it possible for us to book our NBC studio tour with the greatest of ease. Everything was taken care of for us. The only thing we had to do is print out the itinerary and present it at the location for our ticket. NBC requires a 24-hour notice via telephone to reserve your time slot to tour. We were VERY pleased with our booking and experience. Thanks Viator for making our NYC trip very memorable.

The orientation film was excellent, the tour guide was knowledgeable, the group was a good size, not too large, the actual tour was diverse and interesting. It was somewhat rushed and unfriendly with all the security checks, and brief exposures to each area. The Q and A sessions were rushed.

It was very good for the price! Everyone was very nice and it was well organized. Even though I read the part about no bathrooms they did announce it a few times so it was not a surprise. Overall, we'd do it again. We got to see where Howard Stern used to broadcast from, Conan O'Brien's studio and the NBC news. Very interesting.

This tour was a surprise for for our daughter's 17th birthday, who wants to pursue a career in multi-media and video production. This tour definitely had her undivided attention. The history of television was an eye-opener for her. You have helped to deepen her passion in this industry._br /__br /_This was her first tour of the studios, but my second time. It was amazing to see how far technology has improved over the last 4 years. WOW!!!Thanks for putting the icing on the cake for her birthday. We will definitely be back.
