Bus ticket was ideal but did get caught up in traffic so took quite a while to do the downtown trip. The uptown was boring , not worth the time it takes._br/_ Ellis Island was great and the close views of the Statue of Liberty were fabulous. Ferry was very crowded and ques were long but only way to do that tour so don't miss it.

This is definitely the best way to see New york if you're a first timer. We did the whole uptown tour so we were familiar with where everything was and the next day hopped on and hopped off where we wanted. The Brooklyn trip was a bit long for what it was, and unfortunately the tour guides mic was faulty

We found the Guides very informative and as we had a limited time in New York it was the best way to learn about the different areas of such a big city. Thankyou very much for a wonderful experience and we would recommend it. From Sydney, Australia.

Even though we had really bad weather one day we still managed to do the hop on and hop off tours which gave us an insight to NY and where we wanted to explore in more depth. The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Ferry ticket made this a great way to see these two fabulous attractions. Great...

A great way to suit yourself what you want to get off and see, or if you just want to get a quick look at all the sights.

Our trip on the Hop-on Hop-off tour started off great and we had a great time. The guides were good. But what we felt was that if we had recorded audio instead of a person, it would have been better. It was difficult to keep pace with what they were saying and also see the sights. However, all in all, it was a good experience.

This was the best value money I spent all holiday. The tours covered all areas of New York and it was great being able to hop off and on at the sites you wanted to visit. I would strongly recommend a visit to Ellis Island as this was more interesting than statue of liberty. Fantastic two days seeing sights and would not have covered as much if it hadnt been on the buses. Buses came every 10 - 15 mins at all stops. Excellent package.

A great way to get around and see a lot of New York in a short space of time, especially if it is your first visit. The hop on hop off idea is good as you can stop and see what you want to see knowing you can catch another bus to continue the trip. The tour guides are a little bit hit and miss, we had two that were very knowledgeable and entertaining, while a couple left a lot to be desired. But overall the tour is well worth the money.

the equipment, guides, and detail of the city were perfect. however, @ the end, someone threw a red baloon @ the bus just up from the Plaza area. the woman in fron of me was hit, & I got splashed on the left back & left arm. my large sun hat protected my head. later my arm & back started to itch so i took a shower & made a report to security @ the westin ts. you probably need to institute fines for people that attack your vehicles.

For the Hop-on-hop-off part, I can accept the fact that we need to exchange the tickets at a specific place, but for the the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Ferry part, I don't know why they cannot just exchange the actual tickets right when we exchange the ticket for the hop on hop off. With the voucher, we need to exchange for some kind of confirmationticketvoucher for the Statue, then when we reach the Battery Park, we need to exchange for the actual ticket

Some tour guides were impossible to understand. Added to that, the constant touting for tips by guides was very annoying.

Worth the money as we got to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island too and use the buses to get around the city at our own leisure. One criticism was that if we wanted to head back we could only jump on at the nearest pickup point which meant having to continue on the route as part of the tour again instead of being able to head straight back. It would be nice to have a different route that the bus does on the way back that enables people to jump on without having to have the entire tour again. Very enjoyable though and saves money on cab rides.
