Fully recommend the tour . Suggest you book via Viator though as some people that booked through their hotels were not guarenteed a place as they didn't appear to get an update on how many places were available. Our bus was brilliant but the one before was rather an old one that is pot luck I am afraid. Edwin our real New Yorker tour guide was great.

Started off with a few problems as there were too many people booked on the trip. A second bus came out and we were all seated. Were promised water but because of the mix up, we did not get any water. The trip was very informative and the boat trip was awesome.

Very good option if you want an overview of Manhattan, especially if you have little time to get around. Would recommend taking some snacks or a lunch if you have a healthy appetite as eating times are very limited whlle on tour as it is virtually non-stop. Well recommended.

This tour was ok - no water as advertised. The guide rushed as around and the other tourists were aggressive and annoying. New York is an amazing place and more time should be allocated to wandering/exploring. At Wall St we were allowed only a few minutes and whilst we were getting photos taken at the statue the group left without us. We walked back to where the bus was and they weren't there. It was ridiculous. The Statue of Liberty was great but again plenty of aggressive and annoying fellow tourists that wouldn't allow everyone a photo opportunity without their ugly head in the background (even though everyone had provided them with the same courtesy) - everyone needs to chill out and get in the spirit of being on vacation! Guides could do more to encourage this and also provide people with advertised experience.

Excellent! Bronx Jim was so entertaining and fun! We loved this tour! Probably a little bit quick tour through the city but ok as a first sighseening in NY. Any way you drive through the whole Manhattan, making a few stop and taking New York water taxi that takes you close to Liberty statue and Brookling bridge. Recommend as a first sightseening and thank you Bronx Jim!

As it was our first time in NYC, we had spent hours on the internet researching the best places to visit, best routes to take etc within a four-day break. We finally opted for the 1day sightseeing tour and it was worth every cent. Our guide, Edwin, gave us a comprehensive guide to this fabulous city and we visited sites such as Central Park, Wall St, Statue of Liberty and the Rockerfeller Centre. His local knowledge of the area coupled with his numerous stories or relevant events which happened at the sites which we visited could not be found by us simply using a 'hop-on/hop-off' service that did not have a tour guide. The trip allowed for us to stop off for 15-20mins at each of the various sites where we could take photos and get more information from Edwin. The trip took exactly five hours, including a 30min lunch break. It provided a great introduction to NYC and if we required more information, we could always have made our own way on any of the following days using Edwin's tips and advice. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an informative introduction to NYC and it's many highlights. Ideal for first time visitors.

Your arrangements -- or lack thereof-- created great havoc and stress on me and my wife. We were told to meet the bus at 7th and Times Square at 10 AM. My wife asked the reasonable question: Where ? and Who is the tour company? Needless to say neither question was answered. We frantically ran around looking for a bus, which never appeared. Then someone at "Tourist Information" made some calls and found the bus was at 55th and 7th avenue. Our bus had left but another bus was there and the driver took us to a meeting place. As for the guide: she was very nice but offered little relevant or historical information. I will never use Viator again.

We tacked New York onto a california trip by taking the red eye from San Francisco. We therefore wanted to see as much as possible as quickly as possible. We made easily the journey from JFK to Manhattan in good time for the 10am departure. The tour surpassed all our expectations.We saw everything we wanted to seewe had ample stoppage time for lunch, and the boat trip up to the Statue of Liberty was an added bonus. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped make the trip an unforgettable experience. We were back soon after 4pm also giving us time to go up the Top of the Rock Observation Tower before grabbing a taxi back to the airport. We thought it was excellent value for money
