A lovely leisurely way to see the harbour with excellent food and great service. The cruise itself is an unhurried affair, meaning a steady pace for photos and sighseeing from the deck, giving plenty of time to get into pose for lady liberty. The buffets were excellent and continually replenished, thank goodness, as the rest of the guests were not inclined to wait to start sailing before digging in. However, there was no shortage of food and something for everyone! We could not fault the service, attentive and polite. All-in-all a great start to our holiday.

Excellent. We went in September, so there were less people than in the high season and as a result there was lots of space (e.g. the dining table beside us was empty) and lots of room on the open deck when you went upstairs for photos of Statue of Liberty, NY skyline, etc. The food on the buffet was plentiful and VERY good. We asked to stay in the upstairs dining room for eating, which was much nicer than downstairs, where it was a bit more crowded and canteen-ish. One niggle was that we were kept waiting at the, shoreside kiosk until exactly 30 minutes before sailing, only then were we issued boarding cards and allowed aboard. It was VERY cold standing there, but the early arrival did perhaps get us a better table on the boat. The e-ticket did also say that men HAD to wear a jacket, but 95% of men on board did not, so you can go slightly more casually dressed. Would definitely do this again if we go back to New York.

My 2 sisters and I (along with my 7-year old daughter) took my mother on this cruise for her birthday. My daughter was a very last minuite addtion and enjoyed it thoroughly too! Booking through Viator was very easy and I was very happy because I went through World Yacht first and they had no availability left for that date, so I was thrilled that Viator was able to book us. We completely lucked out with the weather that day because it was SO gorgeous. Blue skies and what felt like the upper 60s/low 70s, just a beautiful day. My daughter has never seen the statue of liberty in person yet, so that was SUCH a treat for her, plus my sisters and my mother havn't seen her since we were kids and hardly remember it, so it was a treat for us as well! The skyline was also beautiful and we were surprised what a relaxing cruise this was! The brunch portion of it was why I didn't give it 4 stars,but in my mind, I knew that the brunch wouldn't be off the charts because the price was so reasonable and for the price it was a good buffet brunch! My mother had a GREAT time and loved it and so did we! I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone! Thank you so much!

This was the first of five trips we booked via Viator. It got off to a bit of a bad start given that my husband had long dress trousers on (as advised) and many people turned up with jeans, shorts and flip flops - rather more casual than we had imagined. He was less than pleased that he had made an effort and others were allowed to board in such casual dress. Other than several tables being finished their food before we left dock ( no pressure from staff to eat quickly ) the overall experience and staff on this cruise were fantastic. Food was outstanding and wine prices were reasonable.

I really enjoyed this experience. The food was good and the service was excellent. It was a pleasure being waited on by Jason and I enjoyed seeing the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty while dining on the cruise ship. I highly recommend this experience to all.

Absolutely Fab. We had a Sunny day which helped, but could not fault food, service, and quality of this boats fittings. The deck furniture was luxurious, and we had plenty of room to see all the views.

My husband and I went to NYC for our anniversary weekend and were not dispppointed... after a busy weekend, the Sunday Brunch was a great wat to start to wind down the weekend. The ship was beautiful and the staff very friendly.... the abundance of food was great - a lot of it and it was all very good! We finished breakfast and had our complimentary champagne on the top deck while looking at the Manhattan skyline. Our only complaint (which isn't really a complaint) is that the bar on the top deck was closed - so you had to go back down to your table and order a drink from your waitress then return to the top deck - maybe something to consider. Other than that, we loved it and would certainly do it again!!!

This is an excellent cruise, and well worth the additional money versus the other options available. We were fortunate that the boat was not that crowded, but the quality of the food and entertainment was very good. In addition the deck is nicely laid out with some decent quality furniture, so if the weather is nice you can really enjoy yourself outside as well. Its worth getting there an hour before departure as suggested, since this will likely get you a better table. It will also enable you to eat the food while still docked, leaving you 2 hours to enjoy the cruise. The food is served for the full time though, so if you do get hungry you can just get some more. A couple of points to note: there is no commentary, so it does help if you know what to look for. Also the dress code is supposed to be strict, but while most people made the effort quite a number were rather too casual, but nonetheless let on the boat. Its not that formal a cruise, but when most people make the effort to dress nicely it does seem a shame when a few do not. Overall an excellent option if youre looking for a cruise around Manhattan.

The dress code keeps it a bit special there are other companies if you want to wear sneakers and jeans.Food excellent and the view from all decks was wonderful. Excellent brunch cruise, went as part of our honeymoon as we previously got engaged on one of the evening dinner cruises. Food was nice, although some of it perhaps not as hot as it should have been, and there wasnt as much choice as I thought there would be, but overall the trip itself was very good, and the staff were all efficient and courteous. Brilliant views of all the main sights of Manhattan too, which was highlighted by the beautiful weather.

I felt the Brunch Cruise should be targeted to the older generation as it was quite boring for my 18 year old daughter. The food was not up to our expectations as it was all over cooked and quite dry. I ws a nice sunny day and the views were spectacular.

The two hours I've spent on the cruise with my family, were worthwhile and relaxing. There was a wide verity of great food and the service was great. The pianist greatly influenced the atmosphere as well.

The experience was wonderful UNTIL we spent over 30 minutes trying to dock at the end of the cruise as we went round and round in circles. Time was a bit tight for us as we needed to get to the airport for a flight back to the UK. Some informationannouncement from the staff would have been helpful. They all mysteriously disappeared during the time we were trying to dock. This really spoiled what was otherwise a great trip. All we needed was a simple announcement telling us what was happening.

Signed up for Sunday Brunch, however they cancelled due to lack of people. Gave us a free upgrade to dinner. It was fantastic. Had friends from out of town visiting. This was a fantastic way to show them New York City.

The ship was clean, well maintained and the crew and servers extremely efficient. The food was of a high standard with plenty of choice. The only slight criticism was the absence of any announcements pointing out points of interest.

Only gripe was I was told to confirm booking 24hrs before and was reminded of male dress code must be jacket. We arrived on board and I was staggered to see many local arrivals with shorts and tee shirts being welcomed aboard. I was annoyed.

An extremely pleasant experience, slowly cruising up the Hudson river. The food was plentiful, and well prepared,the waiting staff were very hospitable and friendly. One small point on the food, perhaps there could have been a small description of the items which it was not obvious what they were! All in all a very enjoyable three hours.

Wow, absolutely amazing. The food service was fantastic, wonderful setting, etc. Only downside was that we were expecting to go closer to the waterfall under Brooklyn Bridge and we didn't get close at all. Otherwise fantastic and highly recommend it.
