We were scheduled for Apri 1st, but the weather was not very good. We did not worry about this because we had purchased our tickets from Viator and could redeem them for any day. When we did redeem them we did not know that you were given a specific time, usually the next available time, which for us, was an hour and a half later. This would have been good to know ahead of time. We thought we could redeem and use immediately. We went up at night and it was a spectacular view. I would highly reccomend the Top of the Rock as a must do while in New York.

We chose to use our voucher on a friday night. For all the benefits of virtual queuing there was still a lot of standing in line to do. We had a virtual queue of 1 hour and then it probably took us another hour to get to the top.Getting up did not feel as slick as the Empire State Building.The flexibility of when we could use the ticket was good and we changed our plans for when we used the voucher. I suspect the day time view surpasses the night time view, as the experience was not as good as the ESB during the day. Without doubt the best night time view is from a boat on the river for me.

First class tour 5 1/2 hrs seeing all the main sights including a boat ride with running commentry taking in all the major sights from the river._br/_ Dave on the coach was a credit to Viatours.

We went up to the Top of the Rock in the evening to get a view of NYC at night. It was fabulous!! The queues were minimal, the observatory was quiet enough for us to get an unhindered view of all sides and the views were amazing!

Fantastic! Really amazing views and if you book through Viator you can change the day you go if the weather is not very good. We just missed sunset on the day we initially booked and they were happy for us to come back on the following day. Fabulous views of Central Park and the Empire State Building - would definitely do it again.

Great views of the financial district, times square and central park. It's great at dawn, because you can see all the lights changing on the sky and in the city. It can get a little bit crowded so be sure you spend enough time to enjoy all the views.

What a fantastic experience!. I have also visited the Empire State Building but would recommend the top of the Rock hands down for overall views and experience. The lift ride to the top of the building is brilliant. During the ride the ceiling is exposed to show the lift shaft and how fast the lift accelerates to its destination. There is lots to see and breath taking views especially those of Central Park. We obviously choose a good day to visit as the queues were small and we were able to navigate our way around the observation decks with ease. This trip is a must

We visited the Empire State first which was an absolute nightmare, far too many people once you got to the top so very difficult to see anything after a very very long wait. Top of the Rock is just that, amazing and so much better organised with absolutely fantastic views of the Big Apple if you want the 'BEST' this is it.

I've been up this in the day and at night and think the night is better. You get to see the sunset behind the Empire State Building all lit up at dusk. It is very cool. There are excellent views of Central Park from the top.

It's just 1 of those things you have to do, and unlike the ESB the Rockerfellar Centre has many other things to do also. There are several levels and viewing points, so be sure to circle around to enjoy the views. There is a seating area inside for those with vertigo.

This was great! We saw this in the day time and you could see for miles and miles. A lady took our picture at the top level, 1 of 3 levels and they were brilliant. In fact, we brought copies for our parents too!
