Your small-group Provence day trip starts with pickup from your Nice hotel and a drive through Provence's picture-postcard countryside to the second-most visited village in France, Saint Paul de Vence. With cobblestone lanes and chic art galleries, it's easy to see why the town is so popular. You'll have about an hour to explore this former haunt of the Impressionist painters. You'll be driven in comfort in a minivan limited to just eight passengers, ensuring you receive personalized attention from your English-speaking guide on this small-group tour.

Your day trip continues to Tourrettes/Loup for a photo stop before visiting the charming Loup Gorges. The views of the Alps, valleys and Mediterranean coastline from the perched medieval village of Gourdon are stunning. You will spend an hour here, with time to eat lunch (not included) and sample the traditional floral-scented candy at the Florian confectionery, a French Riviera specialty.

Then it's on to Grasse, world capital of the perfume industry where you'll have a guided tour of a perfumery. You'll have approximately 45 minutes of free time here to explore or visit the old town.

Your last stop will be a 45-minute tour of Cannes. See the old port, famous La Croisette Boulevard, the Cannes Film Festival Palace, glamorous designer shops and wide, sandy beaches.

Well worth the trip. Cannes was a bit of a disappointment but the trip through Provence was spectacular. The tour was well paced with tours of a parfumerie and confectionary and truly French. Our guide, Caroline, was a pleasure and very personable. Definitely a high-light of our vacation.

As the weather was very threatening all other people except my wife and I canceled out. Sylvie made our day fantastic and apart from an odd shower the day was all we had hoped for.It felt just as if we were having our own personalised tour because Sylvie changed it to suit s all day. Great day trip out of Nice. It was a small group- only 6 of us, which was great because it was completely personalized. Grasse's perfumery tour was very informational. St. Paul de Vence was having a food and wine festival, so we got to jump in and enjoy the festivities. Gourdon had amazing views. It gives you a little taste of Cannes as well. Would recommend this tour.

The tour guide we had was absolutely wonderful. He stopped at so many places for us to take photos. He spoke excellent english and french of course. But he really payed attention to both groups. We saw the neatest villages and countryside. I would take this trip again. It was lovely.

We really enjoyed our trip. Our guide was prompt picking us up at our hotel. Our group was a mixture of French Speaking and english speaking people and she did a nice job of making sure we all had our questions answered and described the sights to us all. We could not have done this ourselves.

The trip was not so much guided but actually it was just the driver doing the talking but that was fine, the sights were lovely, only thing its too high a price to pay just for transportation. It also turned out the promised lavender fields aren't even there as lavender doesn't even grow in the areas covered by the trip, other than 2 to 3 brushes by the roadside as pointed out by the driver. The sights were lovely, but again you can just take the bus!

This trip will take you to Cannes, a perfume factory in Grasse, jelly/choc factory, Gourdon and St. Paul. The only less interesting in this trip was the jelly/choc factory but the rest are just breathtaking especially in St Paul. We love St Paul so much! Overall a great day trip!

The tour guide Iaesha collected us on schedule and took us on a most enjoyable and informative tour of the sights and specialties of Provance. The small group worked well together and the guide was able to keep to the schedule while not rushing the participants. The description of this tour does not do it justice. Cannes was interesting but the trip to Grasse to Gourdon to Saint Paul - scenery was breathtaking and beautiful. Perfume factory visit was ok - interesting to learn how they make perfume but you knew you what was coming at the end. Gourdon was amazing - both the ride there and the time to explore - loved having time on our own and flexibility to have lunch wherever you wanted. The trip from Gourdon to Saint Paul was beautiful and the village itself was great to explore. A wonderful day I would highly recommend. Our guide was also excellent!

This is a good tour to take if you want the highlights of the area. Our guide was knowledgeable, professional and accomodating. It was nice since there were only 6 of us. The guide didn't hesitate to stop if we wanted to take a pic. There was even a stop at a candy factory which i didn't see on the itinerary. Would recommend this tour if you have a few days to spend in Provence.

There were only 2 of us and the tour operator carried on with the tour. Guide was very friendly, informative and flexible. Stopped by at 2-3 beautiful lookouts during the long drive. Gourdon is such a picturesque. We're photo-taking lovers. So we grabbed simple sandwiches and gelato for lunch there.

This tour provided just enough time in each city! We saw amazing sights. This is a definite must. I was disappointed that I paid for an English tour and instead 4 of us spoke English and 4 spoke French. It was very frustrating when the French tour guide would have side conversations in French to the other 4 guest. I paid for English not half an English tour.

Great to see the villages of Gourdon and Saint Paul but not nearly long enough in Cannes(only twenty minutes). I thought that the trip was slightly overpriced as I have been on similar trips in Cyprus for 55 euros but still very enjoyable and if you are new to the area it gives you the opportunity to orientate yourself if you go soon after arrival. There were only four of us in a very roomy minibus so certainly no complaints there and the pick-up/drop off to the hotel helped me as I had just arrived and didn't know my way about. Recommended.

I would recommend this trip highly. There wereonly four customeras in t he van so we really got great service. The guide was very informative, and the tour to through the countryside really gave us the flavor of this area. I loved the little villages that we walked through. Worth your $$$!

Our Provence tour took us to some of the most incredible and beautiful villages in all of France. Ira was excellent. It was well worth it........and there was only 5 of us in the air conditioned van!!!!!!!!

Giving it One only just for one reason - The guide. We were two families with kids and not sure why he behaved so rough and tough with us. His name was Andrew and he was utterly unpleasant. Never once did he smile at us or have any casual chat. You may have a good trip if you get a good guide. But beware if you see a tall man with a French beard. You will not be able to enjoy it with him around. The tour lasted only for 7.30 hours...he made sure we didn't have any more free time.

Trip was nice but after going ton the Monaceo, Monte Carol etc. small group tour on Monday some of it was redundant. Guide spoke a lot of French even though most of us spoke English which was disconcerting to me. She should have let us know that was her plan.

My trip the day before was cancelled due to not enough people so when 2 tour guides picked me up the next morning and I was the only passenger I was amazed it was not cancelled too but the guides said they felt sorry for me having already cancelled 1 tour.The tour was beautiful up into the mountains and the guides were very knowlegable about the history of the little villages. I really enjoyed it and great value for money and it was a private tour.Well done viatour I travel a lot and can always rely on great service and value for money .

This is the second time i've done this trip, and both have been fantastic. Our guide Guillaume William was fantastic, and we got to experience the town of Grasse with a local. There is plenty of time on this tour to see the lovely old towns so you don't feel rushed. If you wish to see some provincial towns then you should consider this tour. This is great trip and I would thoroughly recommend it if you want a taste of what Provence is like away from the coast. Grasse, Guerdon and St Paul de Vence are all well worth visiting and some of the scenery is breathtaking. Add to this a very charming, friendly and knowledgeable guide, beautiful weather and you couldn't ask for more.
