My son and I had a great afternoon of snorlkeling in Hanauma Bay. We saw tons of fish, a sea turtle, and an eel! The folks who handled our equipment were very helpful. I would recommend this tour. FYI - it was windy the day we went and we were happy to have wetsuits.

We confirmed 24 hours in advance. They picked us up on time at the Hilton Hawiian Village. The driver was friendly and informative. We were quick at getting fitted into the snorkel gear. The regular gear is just fine. Lot's of extras at the shop. Due to the delays getting into the park I would suggest a later pickup ( which they offered!) Take snacks and water as the concession is at the top of the hill. Fabulous snorkeling for our whole group of 10 ( ages 11 - 65) They easily handled all of us and were very efficient! Great experience with Viator and the Hanauma Bay Snorkel shop! There is no way I would take a bus and try and do it ourselves. The best $20/ person spent our whole vacation! - Rob ( Canada)

Hanauma Bay was beautiful - very nice beach. Unfortunately the day we went the weather wasn't great so the snorkelling wasn't brilliant. We did see a turtle very close to shore.

Very helpful staff. We forgot our money for entry to park, no problem for driver to detour back to hotel. We were booked on another tour later in day, staff very heplful to make sure we were back in plenty of time. Beautiful beach, very rocky, dont forget boat shoes, lots of fish to see.

Fantastic tour. Would do this again. The company picked me up on time. Was 1/2 hour drive. Collected equipment and then dropped me off at Hanauma Bay for a lovely day. Picked me up and took me back to my hotel. Friendly staff and great facilities. I had a great time. Note need $7.50 to enter the bay not included in tour.

If you want a couple of hours to just relax, this is the place to go. Beach will get packed but the water is beautiful. You get all the gear needed. Get an underwater camera case or buy a disposable one from the gift shop.

Good, efficient tour. The equipment was all adequate and fitted well. Although the coral at the bay is pretty disappointing (in terms of colour and variety) the sea life is plentiful - heaps of beautiful fish and saw a sea turtle.

we got picked up in a limo it was amazing with 2 other people.our snorkel equipment was also included.go on the early trip as it is really busy after ten.we saw a tutrtle and an octupus.its really shallow so you do get scrapped along the coral.take some snacks and drinks with u as u can't buy anything on the beach just at the top.the walk was nice up and down the hill.there is a shuttle bus which you have to pay for.i think it should be free as you already pay to get onto the beach.it was nice for the few hrs we were there

Hanauma Bay is beautiful the earler you get there the better. My rating is 1 star because of the company. They picked up an hour late and they dropped off at the wrong hotel. I asked the bus driver if she was sure this was the correct hotel and she had said "yes we are just in the back parking area". Would not have been a big deal if I was not by myself. Not a company that I will ever do business with again and I do NOT recommend this company.

Short tour!! Bus was more than 1/2 hour late for pick-up, then on time to get us out of water, so a pretty short snorkel time. Then the bus was late again for the Hanauma Bay pick-up. Other than that, Hanauma Baay was as beautiful as ever, and the sprinkle of rain made it complete. We'll see you next trip. Phil and Kathy Philips

The water in the bay was not as clear as I expected it to be -- maybe that's normal for it, I do not know. Aside from that, everything else was outstanding: the people the material the arrangements, the transportation were fantastic.

What a disappointment! It says right on the confirmation & web site that this is a tour. First thing on the mandatory film it says this is not a tour. Half-day is another untruth. We were picked up at the hotel at 10:30 and didn't get to the bay until noon. There we had to pay another fee to get into the park and stand in line , in the heat, to view an informational film. By the time we got to the beach it was 12:30 or later and our pick-up time was 2:45, we were told to head to the pick-up place by 2:20. Our half-day at the bay ended up being less then 2 hours. The bay was beautiful but the coral was so thick and tall that snorkeling without hitting it was difficult, especially for us novice snorkelers. The best part of this "tour" was the shuttle driver who took us back to our hotel from your office and, unfortunately he didn't tell us his name.

This is a rip off. If you can go to Hanauma Bay, do it on your own. By the time we got picked up and got our rental equipment, we only had about an hour to enjoy the beach and get back to return the equipment. Find your own way here so you can relax and take your time. The people that work here, you can even understand a word they are saying. $5 each for anything you borrow. It's a waste of money and time.

We enjoyed this al ot, however the pictures didn't come out as well as the actual view. The 2 hours spent was enough - the snorkeling takes a lot out of you - you will be tired. We saw many different fish.

Hanauma Bay is breathtaking. It was my boyfriends' favorite tour of the seven we had this past week. The only minus thing is that the admission price is not included, which is 7.50 per person. Other than that, great tour.

Hanauma Bay is a beautiful location for snorkeling. The day I went, the water was a a bit chilly and the wind was kicking up sand. Other than that, I enjoyed my visit. I saw beautiful fish and turtles. The coral is vibrant and supports the sea life that lives there. I had a nice lunch at the local snack shop at the top of the park, a grilled cheese, fries and a soda. I also caught some rays in the beautiful beach. All total, I spent 6 hours here.

This is just basically a ride down to Hanauma Bay and then you are on your own. You have a set time you must be back on the bus and you still have to pay an entrance fee into the bay. It was beautiful but not explained properly in the description of the "tour".

Excellent reefs, corals, fishes, and bay. This is the place to be if you like to get in the water and experience a new world underwater. Unfortunately, for me the snorkel did not work out too well because it was either broken or my head was too small to fit it even though they gave me the junior size. But I did have a wonderful time and managed to get under water every few minutes before my goggles filled with water. We had around 2 hours to spend there, so it was OK for me. But hey, if the snorkel isn't working for you, the sand and space is great for tanning as well.

Very good. Less than half day, well worth the time. Could have spent longer there, but they want more money for that even though they picked us up a half hour late. They would not extend our stay by the half hour, so we were only on the beach for 2 hours after having to go to their office to pick up snorkels. This all came out of our time.
