Leo our driver was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information. Parts of the tour were a little long and the day seemed to drag on. Lunch at Kualoa was very ordinary and too much time spent here. Also the stop at Hawaiian Market was a waste of time. I'm sure we could have used the time to stop at other key points of interest.

Ernie was a great tour gude. Loved the fact that it was a 26-seater bus rather than a large tour bus. He was able to take us into places we wouldn't have been able to on the large bus. The stops along the coast of Oahu were spectacular. Lunch at the ranch was okay. I got the buffet - not really worth the $$. If there is not a line up for the walk-up window it is better value - my husband did this. Overall a great way to see more of Oahu in a day without renting your own car.

We had a great time on the Grand Circle Island Tour. I believe our guide's name was Taeo. He was courteous, knowledgeable and entertaining. We had a rainy day, and our guide kept us engaged and interested even though at some stops there was no view due to weather. I would have to give our guide 5 stars.

If you don't want to rent a car, this day tour gives insights into the diversity of Oahu and was well-designed to show the different landscapes of the island. The guide was very informative. This is a popular tour and on the day I went there were 3 full buses. To avoid crowding at the various stops, the driver/guides had the initiative to slightly change the itinerary schedule so that only one bus would be at a particular stop at a time.

Excellent guide (Robert) very funny and brought the whole trip to life. Toured the island for the day stopping at various places starting just after diamond head and ending at Dole. We saw a lot- arguably some places would have been great to stop at such as Jurassic park valley and North shore beaches in place of some less interesting such as Sumo statue. I think in a day though with limited time this was acceptable. Very enjoyable and lovely ice cream at Dole to finish!

This covered most of the "views" on the island, the bus driver was great, however, we did feel a bit rushed at Dole Plantation, we only had 20 minutes, this was due to other passengers not returning to the bus at the time instructed during earlier stops. The biggest negative, the "ranch" where we stopped to buy lunch - the food was horrible, raw bacon and fake sandwich meat, all that for $30! The tour people need to find a new place for lunch, everyone on the bus (which was full) said the same thing - YUCK!

Excellent day out, and fabulous way to get an overview of Oahu. Our driver (Keamoki) was great. He was very informative about the places, hawaiian culture, language and legends/folklore. He laughed and joked with us, was very welcoming, we were part of his ohana for the day. He told us information about the places we passed through, not just the schedueled stopping places, and passed artifacts, pictures, maps etc around the bus, to help us understand what he was talking about. The Japanese temple was beautiful. So tranquil. We were able to strike the giant bell in an appropriate manner as Keamoki had explained how to do it properly before we left the bus. We made one impromptu stop on the North Shore, as the driver had spotted a turtle on the beach, so we all got a quick look through the windows as there was no-where for us to park the bus and get out. Dole plantation was a bit of a let down. The gardens were pleasant, but the maze, train etc, all cost extra and took longer than our alotted stop-over time. Otherwise a throughly enjoyable day out, highly recommended.

I didn't want to hire a car and do this by myself - they drive on the wrong side of the road over there! Our driver was very informative and the coach was clean and very comfortable. They were lots of stops in the first half of the tour but not so many in the second half of the tour. I would have loved a stop at one of the North Shore beaches.

Our tour giude was wonderful, so full of history of the islands. He explained so much. The island is amazing. with different scenery .. on each cornor.. we managed to see two sea turtles at the sunset beach! beautiful! if ever any one goes to the dole plantation be sure to indulge in the whipped pineapple dessert.. fab!!

This was a really good trip from begining to end. I was a little concerned that the children would find it too much driving, but our driver, Leo, was really good. He knew when to entertain and when to just let us all soak up the views. He made unscheduled stops when he got a call telling him that turtles had come ashore on a beach. Everyone was back to the coach on time and there was plenty of time at each stop to take photos. Unlike other tours we have read about, Leo gave us plenty of time at the Dole plantation and yes we did try the Dole Whip, it was amazing._br/_ We used the knowledge that we gained on this tour to revisit the places we liked the best. It was a really great day and once again for me, Viator has proven that they use the best coach companies for their tours.

A must for 1st time visitors to Oahu. You get to see some pretty amazing scenery both beaches and mountains. Have a pineapple dessert at the Dole Plantation as that is a winner. The tour guide was exceptional and very funny and entertaining.

Guide was too invormative. Never shut up or gave anyone time to or opportunity to ask questions. Talked the whole time we were in the bus. Went everywhere that was promised but just wasn't what I expected. _br/_ I did get the opportunity to ask a question and after it was answered, very briefly, I figured he didn't know as much as he thought he did. Told me weather monitors (doppler) were ammunition storages.

This tour travels along the southern, eastern and northern shores. Need to get on right-hand side of bus to get best sea views. Gives you an idea of the geography and beauty spots of the island. Dole plantation was very disappointing and not worth stopping unless you are into buying souvenirs. Did not get there until 3.30pm, hardly any staff to serve food or coffee and all the other coaches are also there.

The trip was great. With a full day we could visit a lot of places, good for people with short time on the island. The driver was considerate, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. We caught the sight of the whale, the big turtle on our way, also learned some interesting things of the areas, where we passed by. The shuttle coach was very comfortable, there's even a restroom inside in the back for those folks who might have urgent matters.

Cousin Leo was our driver. Well what a walking encyclopedia. I think he went to comedian school. He talked the whole tour. Very informative, always obliging. Great tour right around Oahu, all the surfing beaches, turtle beach, Hanauma Bay right around to Chinaman's Hat, stopping for lunch at Kualoa Ranch and ending up at the Dole Plantation.. We had yummy pineapple ice-cream, it was the best. Great day all round.

For first time visitors to Oahu, this was a fantastic day. Our drivertour guide was terrific in providing information and history about all aspects of Hawaiian culture and lifestyle. He was friendly, entertaining, and provided plenty of time at various stops. It was an all-day trip. A good idea to do 1st or 2nd day to get a good idea of the island lay out. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. The only thing interesting about Dole was the maze which we had to pay extra for, a lot of fun. Every tour was on time. Would recommend

I found out about Viator surfing the internet while planning me and my husband's 1st trip to Hawaii. I will definitely look them up on future trips. The tour guide was knowledgeable about his job and that helps if you are a newcomer not knowing the area. All we had to do was confirm our reservations and leave the rest to them.
