Enjoy exploring the beautiful island of Jamaica on horseback! After pickup from your hotel, you'll be given a brief overview and safety instruction. No experience necessary on this fun, adventurous tour! After this,your horseback riding adventure begins.

Visit the Seville Great House and Heritage Park on Jamaica's north coast, which houses a numerous artifacts showcasing area's history and culture. Then, hop back on your horse and ride towards the beach. You'll pas castles and sugar factories dating back nearly 500 years ago. Upon arrival at the beach, enjoy some fresh local fruit before heading for the water on your horse. Watch out for herons and other water fowl as you make your way through the shallow waters.

I really enjoyed it. I was impressed that they use rescue horses and only ride each horse once/day. Not only did we enjoy a long ride, but we got to learn all about Columbus and the Spanish (history).

Overall, we had good experience. Everyone was very friendly and worked hard to accommodate our needs/preferences. I honestly didn't feel it wasn't worth the price though. The best part of the experience was the ride through the water, which lasted about about 10-15 min. We had very light refreshments and could hardly hear what the guides were saying.

The experience was wonderful beyond my imagination, and I would be giving it 5 stars if it had delivered all it promised. What was missing was the history part (there was no time allowed to look at the exhibitions in the Great House, and the historical narration could only be heard by the first 2 or 3 people in a line of 8 or 9 horses. Still, the actual riding — the sensation of being on a horse in the ocean — was magnificent. The guides were kind and attentive, and the horses as gentle and compliant as can be, even for first-time riders. I loved, loved, loved it and look forward to returning there in the future.

Staff was excellent and very entertaining throughout the tour. Beautiful views and interesting history of the house on the property. Ride to the ocean was great but ride through the ocean was icing on the cake. Scared of riding a horse No worries because horses are very tame plus the guide will lead your horse with a rope upon request.

The Heritage Beach Horse Ride over all was very good. The ride to the beach was long, slow, and boring. Our guide talked as though he was reading form a script. Now the beach ride was short but very exciting.

This was the most amazing trip I have done on all of my travels. Our guide was absolutely fantastic, very informative, funny and a pleasure to be with. Best part of the whole trip was riding in the ocean on the beautiful horses. All the horses seemed to be very well behaved. I definitely recommend this trip to everyone, even if you're nervous about horses like I was at first.

Make sure to wear jeans or capri pants for this tour. I was in shorts and I had to use my towel to cover a my horse after beach riding, otherwise you can scratch your legs. Riding in the ocean is absolutely fabulous.

This is the ride of a lifetime! Not only did I learn about the history of the first settlement in Jamaica and see where Christopher Columbus first landed in Jamaica, you get to ride your horse in the sea! The well trained horses and helpful guides made this a most memorable experience.
