Your dolphin encounter begins with an interesting and informative presentation. You'll get to swim, dance and play with a dolphin all while witnessing the creature's immense intelligence and skill.

Please note:

• Participants MUST be able to swim
• Children aged 10-17 years must have an adult sign the waiver in order for them to participate
• Children aged 8-10 years must be accompanied by a paying adult in the same swim session who will be required to sign a liability waiver
• Children aged 6-7 may participate if they are able swimmers and accompanied by a paying adult
• For their safety, children under six years of age are not allowed to participate in this program
• For safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to participate in this program

Please allow a minimum of three hours at Dolphin Cove at Treasure Reef in order to enjoy the park and facilities.

It was great except they are misleading. One dolphin per group of 6-8 people. Not one dolphin per person! They hound you for tips and to pay for pictures. The pictures are good quality so we bought them but not the video why would we spend money for a video of people I don't know touching the dolphin? The swimming with sting rays is silly there are only 3 of them and they stay by the guys taking pictures of people touching them and you get yelled at if you go near them because they are taking the pictures but the pictures are close-ups so how could you bother them if you are in the background. In the end it's something to do.

My husband and I went to the Dolphin Encounter and enjoyed it very much. The enounter itself was great. We had fun and the trainers were very entertaining and fun. Now the few things that I would say that were not good, were Viator told us the pickup and return were part of the package and they are not. We didnt have to pay but its not. We did not get our DVD which if you order the DVD and the photo CD they are 2 seperate disc and ours got left. Its was a huge ordeal and $38 worth of phone charges to get it. The DVD and pics are VERY expensive. Ours ran $120 + tax. The park itself is okay but not what its made out to be as far as the other part that you walk through. It is fun and theres lots to do overall its good and we will go back but now we know what to do since they aren't clear that you pick up pics and DVD in TWO ENTIRELY DIFFERENT AREAS!:)

Well first the positives... Wonderful time at Dolphin Cove. So many things to do. Well worth the money. Now for the negative. We had booked this attraction through a different vendor and had problems getting it confirmed. We spent a lot of time on the phone with both the vendor and Dolphin Cove. Finally gave up and canceled. This was something we really wanted to do so we then booked through Viator. Same problems. Dolphin Cove said they couldn't find our reservations. Took time but we finally got it straightened out. Dolphin Cove does not seem to be very well organized when it comes to reservations. They added a lot of stress to our vacation.

If you go to Ocho Rios you must do the Dolphin Encounter. Very cool experience! Snorkeling with the stingrays was also very fun and it's included.

I would do this a million times again. Our guide was awesome. I strongly suggest getting the encounter and not the touch option. You get much more for your money.

We had to ring the day before to confirm our attendance despite paying in full and then they changed our timings. The staff were very friendly although a little disorganised - we were left to our own devices with no idea of what to do or when. We didn't have enough time to do the planned activities. The video and photos were quite pricey for what they were, too, and we had to wait ages for them, which delayed our bus. We did love the experience though and would recommend to others!
