What could be more fun than swimming with dolphins in Key Largo and taking the wildest airboat ride in Florida? This overnight trip from Orlando is a family favorite, getting you up close and personal with dolphins, alligators, snakes and other Florida locals.

Your unforgettable dolphin encounter takes place at Dolphin Plus, giving you the rare opportunity to interact one-on-one with these magnificent creatures in a natural seawater lagoon. Dolphin Plus is a marine mammal research and education facility that's committed to the conservation and protection of marine mammals through education, research and environmental awareness. A flotation vest is provided (mandatory for all participants).

Your dolphin swim lasts around 1.5 hours, which includes an educational briefing where you will learn about dolphins in general, as well as about the individual dolphins you will swim with. Interaction time lasts about 20-30 minutes, and you can expect foot pushes, dorsal tows, water fights, kisses, handshakes and other friendly dolphin behavior.

Also included on your overnight tour is the wildest airboat ride in Florida, with plenty of 180-degree and 360-degree spins. You may come face-to-face with local 'gators so keep your hands inside the boat! You'll also discover a world of reptiles at an alligator and snake-handling show at the Everglades Alligator Farm, which will include some great photo opportunities.

Returning to Orlando, you'll stop at Miami's Bayside with a host of designer shops, boutiques and eateries. Perhaps you'd also like to take an optional Island Queen Cruise around famous Star Island, home to the rich and famous (additional cost).

A thoroughly enjoyable trip, without doubt the highlight of our 2 week holiday. Very polite and friendly tour guides, nice hotel in Key Largo with free time on the evening to explore the locality. The dolphin swim was an enjoyable experience, even for me who does not normally enjoy things of a similar nature to this. Miami was good albeit a rather fleeting visit with only time for lunch and the boat tour. Nevertheless I would recommend this excursion

Well what can i say.... _br/_ The trip was good but i found the hole thing rushed, the the hotel where we stayed was fine but the staff were not very friendly and when we asked for sandwiches it seamed like we were been troublesome.staffs local knowledge was poor. _br/_ However the boat trip we took in Miami was great but that was not included in the price of the trip, we paid extra for that._br/_ so all in all we had mixed feelings about the hole trip. _br/_ The saving thing

This was my wife's dream and it really did come true! The whole trip was fantastic, accomodation was great .The guides and the driver were all superb. The Everglades adventure was great as was the trip to Miami but the Dolphin swim was just awesome. You must try this once in your life!

Superb trip! The dolphin swim went down as the best feature of the holiday for all the family. It was obvious that the staff do their job for the love and welfare of the dolphins rather than the financial gain as most of the attractions in Orlando. Highly recommended for children and adults alike. The gator farm & airboat ride was great too, with friendly staff willing to answer all questions. On the stop off in Miami on the way back we opted to do a sightseeing cruise in the harbour area. Although not included in the price, this gave you a good view of the Miami skyline, Star and Fisher Islands where the rich & famous live.

The dolphin swim was outstanding. Very ethical in terms of the conditions for the dolphins. There was a strong sense that the dolphins are the number one priority - which is as it should be. Our pre-swim training was very well done. Plenty of time for questions, and we were made to feel welcome. The swim was unhurried and very personal. We paid for a photo CD which had over 80 pics on it of our swim, plus lots of bonus pics of the dolphins. This was extremely good value. The Everglades tour was also good, but not quite up to the dolphin swim standard. We both hated the snake and alligator handling show. We don't really agree with the ethics of a show like that. But it was great to experience a ride along the Everglades. We enjoyed the coach trip, and the Ramada overnight stay was excellent.

The dolphin swim was definitely priceless. The trainer worked well with the children, making the experience very special. The interaction with the dolphins was excellent, and would highly recommend this trip. The Airboat Adventure was great as well as the alligator show. I highly recommend bringing some insect repellent.

The family really enjoyed the whole two days. Our ages ranged from 8 through to 56 and everyone was overwhelmed by the experience. The staff at the venues relaxed any fears that where had by our party before going in the water or on the boats.

Brilliant! This was the best two days of our fortnight in Orlando. Everything was perfect. The four hour journey flew by due to our great hosts. The dolphin swim was magical, the Everglades were breathtaking, and the snake and alligator handling was awesome. The whole experience was fantastic, the highlight of our holiday. From the minute we got on the coach we were made to feel welcomed by the courier and driver who gave us the VIP treatment for the whole trip. The air boat ride was exhilarating and we got to hold a snake and a baby alligator. The dolphin swim was amazing and fun, games with 3 dolphins, who couldn't have asked for more!! The hotel accommodation in Key Largo was first class and dinner was lovely. In Miami, we took the option of the cruise and it was well worth doing to glimpse at where the rich & famous live. We can highly recommend the tour and thanks go to the driver and courier who certainly gave their all to make sure we had a brilliant time. Our only complaint would be that two days passed far too quickly, however, we have wonderful memories and lots of photographs.

Personal contact with the dolphin is guaranteed. Everglades adventure only means airboat ride outside the everglades park. Could have been better if the trip would include an experience within Everglades National Park.

This is the trip of a lifetime! Swimming with the dolphins is beyond words, and the rest of the trip was fantastic: the guide was great with every age group, especially the kids; the air boat ride was exhilarating; the barbecue was really nice; and holding a baby alligator was different. Only when we decided to take the optional boat trip did we feel any time pressure; there wasn't quite enough time to get something to eat beforehand. Overall these were the best two days of our fortnight in Florida.

The swim with the dolphins was absolutely brilliant. The guide was very friendly and informative. Only slight criticism is that there was not enough time spent at the Everglades or snake and alligator handling. A little rushed, but then there was a thunderstorm so might not always be the case. Would have been nice to have an alternative tour of Miami as well as Star Island cruise. Accommodation very good. All in all good value for money.

It was a fantastic experience to meet, touch and swim with the dolphins. We had plenty of individual time with them and it was 2 people with 2 dolphins in the water at any one time. The dolphins live in seawater that flows in from the canal but whereas they used to be allowed to go out to swim in the canal and nearby sea they now do not let them and the space they have is less than at some zoos or other captivity places. The alligator and snake handling show upset me too as they way the alligator was being handled was not fair in my opinion. The airboat ride was completely awesome and we loved that very much.

The experience was something dreams are made of. The dolphin swims we found to be beyond our expectations. And the fact that the dolphins were able to leave showed they enjoyed the experience as much as we did. We would recommend this trip to anyone coming to the U.S. as a must. When we come back we will definitely do this again. The Everglades air-boat ride was great, better than other rides we have been on before. The whole trip was worth every penny. Can't wait to do it again. I have never seen my children so happy, not even Christmas, as they were after this experience. Thank you.

The highlight of my Florida trip was this excursion to swim with dolphins! I got to do those 'once-in-a-lifetime' things you only read about. I was pushed through the water by 2 dolphins, held the hoop for them to swim through, fed them, played ball with them. Such beautiful creatures! Everything was far better than I had expected – and I had very high expectations!
