This four-hour city sightseeing tour of Oslo is a fabulous introduction to the city and a convenient way to see the major attractions. You'll visit Vigeland Sculpture Park, see the Kon-Tiki Museum, stop by the Holmenkollen Ski Jump and explore the Norwegian Folk Museum (Folk Museum on afternoon tour only).

As the capital of Norway, Oslo is the country's hub of culture and tourism. The city is beautifully situated at the head of the Oslo Fjord (Oslofjorden in Norwegian) and is surrounded by forested hills. In other words, it's quite stunning, and it offers several museums and other attractions. You have your choice of a morning or afternoon departure.

You'll tour the city by coach, stopping at the Vigeland Sculpture Park and some of the city's many museums, including the Fram Museum (home to the Fram, a famous vessel used in Norwegian polar expeditions) and the Viking Ship Museum (home to three preserved ships used by Vikings in the 9th and 10th centuries).

You'll also visit the Kon-Tiki Museum to see the Kon-Tiki, the famous raft from the 1947 Norwegian expedition across the Pacific Ocean, and you'll stop by the Holmenkollen Ski Jump. The afternoon tour additionally visits the Norwegian Folk Museum.

Oslo City Tour was fantastic, very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Unfortunately a thunderstorm hit the city round noon and it just bucketed down causing traffic delays and it was way too wet to do the cruise. We were fine with that as it was only one day rain during our 6 weeks holiday. Oslo is a beautiful city.

Trip was not accurately described as including a great deal of walking. Instead of "sightseeing by coach" , the tour should have disclosed that w lot of walking was involved. As a result, I got to see very little and my one afternoon in Oslo was wasted.

OK tour. Directions on where to begin tour were not clear. Tour was in multiple languages and somewhat hard to follow. Tour was not exactly as listed - had to pay $10 extra per person on site to get tour advertised.

This four-hour tour covered more than we could have hoped for, and the guide was very bright, very knowledgeable, and very accommodating. It was the best tour of the eight we took on this trip.
