Well worth the money to purchase Viator as it was slightly cheaper and it was quick and easy to redeem the pass from the Tourist Information Center!

We planned to go fewer places, but we reached quite much. It was a pleasure to have Oslo pass and to see all beautiful museums on Bygdoy, those were especially interesting and gave to as the taste of vikings, as norwegians used to be. Norwegian Techical Museum is also a must to go for families with children which learnes life in very funny way. The view from Holmenkollen is good. The wiev from the top of Radisson SAS hotel is also beautiful. We visited also some fine free places, we looked outside Queen Castle, Akershus Castle, Vigelands parken. Last but not least weather happened to be sunny in the end of October.

I went to Oslo for the Sunday marathon and had only Saturday (24hr) to explorer. Oslo pass worked like a charm and I got to see the major tourist destinations in that short time. Had I more time, I would have bought the multi-day pass and explored Oslo and the regions surrounding it even more! I wish every major city had an 'Oslo" pass for the tourists!

I didn't think I'd find a place more wet than the UK, until I went to Oslo; it poured every day we were there that, if not for the numerous museums to see, it would have been a real wash-out holiday (no pun intended). The Oslo pass got us into most of the sites there were to see in the city, and was definitely value for money - Oslo is extremely expensive.

I wasn't informed at all that I needed to go to a Tourist Information Centre to get my Oslo Pass. I thought the printed version would be enough. So, I couldn't get into any museums using my printed 'Oslo Pass'. Needed to spend extra time going to a information centre and get my real Pass. I'm very disappointed, I might as well just buy a Pass there :(

Oslo is the most expensive I have visited so far so the Oslo Pass saved me quite a bit especially on transport and the museums of which there are plenty.

Its real money saver if 1 has the days planned, start around 12pm + u spread the pass over 4 days. Peace of mind on transport as uv all paid. Excellent booklet that tells u all the bus/tram/metro no. to take + the actual stop. We hit a museum 2hrs after the pass ran out + the guide spotted our pass + let us in 4 free. 2 out/indoor pools/reptile park included that are fabulous 4 kids.

Did the 72 hour tour . Had a great time in Oslo. Be prepared for very very high prices. $10. U.S. for a glass of beer. $35. For a hamburger and fries. The ticket is the greatest and to get around is simple too.

Once we received the pass it was trouble free. We could jump on any public transport and enter a broad range of institutions without any fuss. We believe we got value for money although we could have improved this had we not walked so much - Oslo was really easy to walk around in. It would also have been useful if the 72 hour pass could have been used a day at a time rather than as a single block because the single block forced us to see Oslo in one go; we couldn't, for example, leave the city for a day trip elsewhere.

This was a great value- it made it very easy to see everything I wanted, my transportation was covered, and I didn't stress about seeing every last thing at a museum to get my money's worth from the ticket, because everything was included!

Even though the Oslo bus and tram system seems to run on the honor system, I was glad I bought this pass as I was on the subway every day. I knew that if someone asked me if I had my ticket, that I did. The Oslo Pass is a security blanket for travel. _br/_ The mini cruise that came with it was nice as well.

So easy to use and made our visit run smoothly, without having to waste time. Used the ferry, trams and visited museums. The Resistance Museum a must for any visitor. Great value for the money and everyone so helpful. Our trip would not have been so packed without it. My 9 year old son thought it was the best idea - and can't wait to return to Oslo!

Th e Oslo pass was a wonderful way to see Oslo on a budget. It was well woth it for transportation alone. The only thing I would recommend is getting the 72 hour pass because you receive a 1&half hour cruise with it and I thought all passes included that. I was wrong because I didn't read the fine print.

good cost savings with lots of good options, however, i resented having to search for the correct office to redeem my passes in a strange country. either you send out the tickets or the email confirmation is good enough. you also need to tell people that you can buy the pass at many hotels

The pass is great for traveling to whereever you want to go in Oslo. Do some research first and know the trambus lines that you want to take, not all the bus drivers speak English. Viking ship museum requires you to show pass at ticket counter for tickets - rest of the places we went to only looked at pass at entrance.

Easy to pick up at the TI office at the central busrail station. Icky people and pick pockets to wade through to get into the TI office. Loved the city, walked and used the trams because I couldn't get a good city bus map. Pepe's Pizza 20 off of a large pizza was not a good deal. They only put toppings in the center and leave a 3" crust. US dollar to Kroners is killing us travelers. Food was exorbitantly expensive unless you want to eat take away cold fish sandwiches 3 times a day. City was easy to navigate with good museums.

The Oslo card was hugely beneficial, making Oslo seem like a breeze to visit! We used the card every day many times for the wonderful museums and for all kinds of transport. It was great to have ordered it ahead of time and just pick it up at the train station, no hassles, and it was already, long ago paid for!

We get these city cards more for the convenience than for the savings - I like knowing we are covered by the transportation network and can get into nearly every museum without having to stand in lines or pay out more money.

The Oslo Pass proved to be of great value. First, we were able to purchase it at a fixed sum in USD. Public transport is very dear in Norway, and the pass practically paid for itself in that area. It also has countless applications for tourists in Oslo. Overall, it was a great decision, and very useful in an expensive city.

This is a good deal if you have more than a day in Oslo, or are super committed to seeing everything you can. If you are injured or slower than the average tourist, or if you have only one day and appreciate sleeping in a bit, you may not see enough to make it worthwhile. If you appreciate the occasional distraction and change of plans, you may never get around to using the card much. If seeing all the "must see" spots is important, this could save you money.
