If sipping French champagne while cruising down the River Seine is your idea of heaven, this champagne-tasting cruise will be a highlight of your trip to Paris! The champagne will be flowing as you cruise down the River Seine past some of Paris' most famous monuments. Combining a sightseeing cruise and wine tasting, you'll enjoy a champagne presentation by an expert sommelier, held in a private room at the front of the boat while you cruise along the Seine.

Your Seine River cruise starts from the dock by the Eiffel Tower, gliding you past the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and the Grand Palais. Along the way, your sommelier will provide insights on the history of Paris' famous monuments throughout the cruise.

During the cruise you will have a guided tasting of three Champagnes: Brut, Demi-sec and Rose. Depending on the weather you can sip your champagne in the private room or outside on the deck

Location: very easy to find, right under the Eiffel Tower. View: Fantastic. You will seat in a private room at the front of the boat. Very good view. Champagne Tasting: Very informative and friendly staff. And you will not be limited to only 3 small glasses. They always came and fufill your glass!! Others: We booked the 6pm session and missed it, they didn't say anything and just moved us to 6:30pm one. All in All: it is an absolutely 5 star experience. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic cruise and champagne tasting. Very knowledgable guide. Good value. _br/_ Beware at the cafe in front of the ticket office...ask for a receipt and check your change. The girls seem to like ripping off the 'stupid tourists'!!!

This Cruise, although very beautiful, was a bit a confusing cluster. It was unclear the boat was divided into two sections (one with champagne and one without) and no one announced the champagne varieties or spoke about the champagnes. The line up before the cruise was a crush, the boat was a half hour late and it was a tres, tres touristy experience loading near the Eiffel Tower. Not the beauty, romance and serenity we were looking for on a Seine River Cruise. Paris, however, was awesome.

The cruise company was very disorganized as first we were told we had to wait for another ship as the tasting leader did not arrive and then 30 minutes later we were told to board. It appeared that the champagne tasting leader was replaced by a waiter as we were not told anything at all about the champagne being tasted nor anything about the Paris sights. We were lucky to have a Paris resident sitting behind us that pointed out the sights and gave us the history about them. None the less the champagne was tasty and the views incredible but we were basically on our own!

This was a joke. Bartender favored a large troup of "ladies" and barely made it around to us on the other side. Very, very disappointing. A lot of money for very little._br/_ Even the ticket sellers were very dispassionate about selling tickets, most of the help seemed only interested in selling pictures....plus a high price to go to the bathroom at the end of the trip and they were not clean either. A complete waste of money.

I enjoyed the cruise a lot. They gave us 3 different champagnes to try and whenever there was some left in the bottle they would give refills to anyone who asked. My only complaint is that the ship contained people who weren't doing the champagne tasting but they didn't direct us in the beginning to the champagne tasting area, so we missed the first 5 minutes or so because we were sitting in the wrong area.

The trip itself was very good, great views of the city and a guide who informed us about the champagne and the city. Plenty of champagne for the whole of the cruise. Only problem was that our names were not on the list when we arrived to board the boat. It mean't waiting for twenty minutes to see if we would actually be allowed on. This seemed very strange as I had booked this about 6 weeks prior to actually going. Better communication required between viator and the actual tour operator.

The champagne cruise was extremely enjoyable. We sat outside at the front of the vessel, and although not the most comfortable transpired to be the best vantage points available. We were welcomed very warmly by our "sommelier" who guided us through the tasting of 3-off champagnes, giving 2 glasses of each in turn. After an hour, we returned to the jetty happy and with a certain glow. I would recommend this short cruise as a nice way to start an evening entertainment.

Was this a fun way to begin our Paris trip! After a little confusion trying to find the correct boat area, we were warmly welcomed. The boat was truly lovely, champagne delicious, Remy informative and very personable. Well worth every Euro; memorable and a great intro to a beautiful city.

The cruise itself was fantastic. Lots of champagne, a knowledgeable and friendly host and a good opportunity to see Paris from the Seine. The only problem was dealing with the ticket office at the pier. We expected the cruise to start at 6.00pm but found when we arrived that it didn't start until 6.30pm. We were told that it always starts at 6.30pm and they tell everyone to come at 6.00pm to 'avoid latecomers'. We had arrived in plenty of time so we felt some of our valuable Paris time had been wasted. Other than that, we would highly recommend this cruise - but don't bother getting there until 6.15pm!

Travelled to Paris with my 90 year old aunt, hope I have her genes! This tour was lovely, they made a fuss of her, there was plenty of champagne and the tour finished in time for a rather quiet supper. Good idea to eat a little something before!

Overall the cruise was great, the champagnes were nice and of course what nicer way to enjoy them. But I was very disappointed with our sommelier. He wandered around at random ,spending inequal amounts of time with guests and I had to prompt him to tell us about the champagne we were drinking. Because he spent so long with one group we only received our third champagne as the boat was pulling in at the end of the tour.

This was a fabulous experience! I would recommend it to everyone. Just note they aren't proactive in directions so make sure you ask where the champagne tasting will be on the boat. If you don't, you may miss it!

Great experience far better than just sitting on the cruise or having a meal. The ticket however was not clear do not que up for half an hour at the ticket booth at the top of the bridge to validate your ticket go down to the boat office. If you want to have good views during the cruise sit at the front. Champagne was good a good value trip.

Spent an amazing evening on the Champagne Tasting on the Seince River Cruise with a friend on March 5th. The guide, unfortunately can't remember his name, was brilliant at his job. Knew so much about the champagnes and buildings along the river. The tour was pretty full so there wasnt much extra champagne to go around but being Irish he knew i'd finish off any ends of bottles! I would definately do it again and rocommend it to EVERYONE to go on!

Good champagne, friendly sommelier who was willing to answer questions. Cruise only an hour could of been longer as the weather was so spectacular for early April. It was at an ideal time and the city looked beautiful from the river.

When we checked in, the clerk did not have any record of our registration. Luckily, I had printed our receipt. The boat was supposed to leave at 6PM, but the clerk said it was leaving at 6:30PM, so we had to wait around for a bit. We were fortunate to have a sunny day, and there were lots of of opportunites for people watching on the banks of the river. There are some popular sights along the way. The champagne was adequate, but our host was busy socializing with a bachelorette party and did not pay as much attention to the other guests.

I was disappointed with the Champagne River Cruise as it only lasts an hour and you only get around three half glasses of Champagne in that time. I thought there might even be cheese and biscuits but you get nothing to eat. Also the person who was serving the Champagne didnt tell you anything about them unless you asked the questions and was just a glorified waiter. For the money i paid i had wished that i had paid a bit extra and went on the three hour cruise with the meal and you also get a photo taken as a nice reminder so dont waste your money on this trip its not worth it !

Wonderful front of the boat reserved for champagne tasters fantastic view and the champagne I expected to be cheap and cheerful was delicious and literally on tap. The waiter was lovely told us to ask if we wanted more and explained a little about each one. We did it at night and the view of Paris by night is beautiful we would definitely do it again it was a wedding present to my husband and it was perfect. Leave plenty of time to find it if your new to Paris!

This was just average. The sommelier served small champagne portions and so the trip wasn't really worth the cost. The other sections of the boat had a commentary on the sights we were cruising past but this commentary didn't reach our part of the boat.

This was an amazing tour and the sommelier was incredible. She did everything in her power to make us feel at ease, share the information about each sample, and even took our photos. We had a wonderful time on this cruise - scenery was beautiful, champagne was plentiful. Dock was across the street from the tower and very easy to find. No problem trading in the Viator online voucher for our tickets. This cruise was the start of our weekend in Paris and a lovely way to begin - highly recommended.

What better way to experience Paris than on the Seine river sipping champagne, we loved this tour! Its brilliant value for money and our sommelier gave us some great tips on how to select the best champagne's. We tried 3 different types of Brut champagne and they were all delicious. The sommelier was very generous with the champagne, i think we had at least 4 glasses each! We also enjoyed some yummy biscuits which complimented the champagnes very well. Great fun.
