Your day begins with a visit to Monet's House in Giverny and its famous water lily gardens followed by a discovery of the Musée des Impressionnismes-Giverny where you can see many famous masterpieces and exhibitions. Lunch is taken in the delightful Moulin de Fourges. Maximum of only 8 passengers on this small group tour, ensuring you'll receive personal attention from your knowledgeable guide.

During the afternoon, you will visit the Palace of Versailles. Visit on your own of Louis XIV's suite, the Hall of Mirrors, and the apartment of the Dauphin and Dauphine. An audio guide (included) is available in eight languages (French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Chinese-Mandarin).

Watch the magnificent fountain display, which reveals the skill and artistry of three centuries of French garden design and engineering. The display is accompanied by music from one of the famous composers from the court of Louis XIV."

Versailles Fountain Show Special Program:
April 3rd to October 31st (Saturdays & Sundays) and May 17th to June 29th (Tuesdays). For a selected time you have the option to see the magnificent fountain displays, which reveal the skill and artistry of 3 centuries of French garden design and engineering. The display is accompanied by music composed at the time of Louis XIV's court. Entrance fees are included in the cost of the tour.

Enjoyed the trip immensely. Our guide, Amy was very informative although hard to understand at times. Should change the amt of time spent at each: less at Giverny, more at Versailles. And have guide mention the train and golf cart options when at Versailles!

Small group was an advantage. Although we were not accompanied by the guide through the gardens or palace, he provided a lot of good background information about the sites and surrounding countryside during the bus trip. Lunch was fantastic at a small country restaurant - and of course, the gardens and palace were well worth visiting.

From the time the van pulled up in front of our hotel until it dropped us off, we had a wonderful day. The day is so well organized with just the right amount of time at each site. Our guide, "Pablo " was friendly and informative. The small group tour gives you enough time on your own and to share the experience with an interesting group of fellow travelers. If you want to take a day away the busy city of Paris, this is the perfect trip!

Would recommend if you do not have much time in Paris and would like to see both Giverny and Versailles which was the case with us. Could have easily spent more time at each location though.

We had a very nice experience on the tour. The van was spacious, the driver was knowledgeable and friendly. The Giverny portion of the trip was fabulous. It was so crowded at Versailles that we couldn't enjoy it as much as we should have. Overally, however, it was a great day!

Lovely outing.Francois the guide was informative and very passionate about Versailles, giving us insight into its history en route there. Giverny was pretty and a breathe of fresh air.The route there was also lovely and quite different in character from the countrysides of the south. (we just came from Provence, which was beautiful in a different way) Lunch was a pleasant 3 course meal at a delightful water wheel cottage restaurant. Nice to be in a small group. Highly recommended.

Loved Giverny, and Monet's gardens. Our driver was late on the pick-up at our hotel, so everyone that was with us on this tour (8 people in total) felt somewhat rushed by the driver. Also, he drove way too fast...... on the highways. Lunch was good and set in a nice riverside location. The Palace of Versailles and gardens were everything I expected. I'm glad I booked this trip with the hotel pick up and drop off, made the day not having to make our way back to the hotel at the end of the tour.

giverny was wonderful, and the versailles gardens fantastic...the palace itself is cheesy, but a trip to paris really wouldn't be complete without it...my rating is mostly based on giverny, i loved this whole area and the drive through the normandy region

Very good tour. Giverny was a mob scene even though it wasn't the height of the season but nothing victor could do about that. Driver Fred very good. Be ready early! Versailles was great. Only 45 minutes allowed for gardens which was fine for us but if you wanted to walk thru the gardens you wouldn't have time. Lunch was. Ok food at lovely old mill. Small group was fantastic rather than large group. Well worth the extra price.

The best way to see both these wonders if you are very short of time. One day is just not long enough, but your tour gave me a great taste, and I'll know what to do next time. This trip was the highlight of my trip abroad. Giverny was breathtaking and Versailles was amazing. At Versailles, I definitely recommend getting through the palace tour and spending most of your time in the gardens. The tour also provided a knowledgeable and pleasant guide and a great lunch in the French countryside. Overall it was a great trip, and if I go back I would sign up for one again.

Our travelling group of 6 Australians was joined by a couple from Houston TX USA and the 8 of us had a lovely tour. Our driver was Fred and he was extremely friendly and informative. He helped make the trip a really memorable one. Giverney was superb and Monet's garden and home are delightful. The village is really pretty and we could have easily stayed for longer. Lunch was excellent - a beautiful day enabled us to dine outdoors and the meal surpassed expectations. Versailles is amazing however, crowd control within the palace is non-existent and we were shoulder to shoulder trying to have a look at the apartments etc. I would suggest that a visit here as early as possible in the morning may enable you to beat the crowds as our visit was spoiled by the overcrowding we experienced. This was not the fault of the tour company or Fred but rests with those managing the palace.

The trip started with the fabulous Guytanio from Italy as our driver. Charming and delightful. Mini van tour is the way to go. This was my second time on this tour, this time brining my Dad. Both enjoyed the experience and company of a few others. Very much appreciated the drivers energy. Great trip. highly recommend it.

The gardens were lovely and it was nice to have time to stroll around Giverny. The lunch was very nice and the venue was quite charming. It would have been nice to have had more time to stroll the gardens at Versailles.

I wish our guide had interacted with us a bit more. She was very knowledgeable - lots and lots of history, but unfortunately delivered on a one hour drive after lunch and wine. It made for some sleepy passengers! We were glad we didn't miss these two sites. Given the short time at Versailles, we would recommend either going back a second time, or spending your time primarily in the gardens if it is a nice day.

Most disappointing of all the tours that we have booked with you on our recent holiday._br/_ The Monet section of our tour was the only highlight. The lunch at the 'Windmill' was disgusting and thrown at us on the table._br/_ The Versailles section was far short in time and impossible to complete in the limited time available. We booked the Saturdayt tour especially as we wanted to see the musical fountain displays which has already finished due the the back organisation of the guide._br/_ He kept on telling our small group of Australians who had travelled half way around the world to see this section that the time allocation was too small and he could do nothing about it. That was the reason for paying extra for a small group tour so that we could see everything at a reasonable rate. Everyone in the group was very upset! Waste of money._br/_ When we returned to Paris he did not even let us off at our hotel but a block earlier because it was quicker for him to let off the last passenger._br/_ Waste of money, totally disappointed, after coming such a long distance to see Versailles etc

We loved this tour and thought that the smaller tour group was the way to go. We ended up only having 4 of us plus our tour guide, which made visiting with our guide very easy. This was a very informative tour with beautiful views of the scenery as we drove to each location.

What a great day! The minibus driver came right to our hotel and was on time and courteous. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to learn the other six people in our minibus were all English speakers. The driver was knowledgeable and fluent in English. Monet's house was great. Lunch was fantastic and Versailles was amazing. My only complaint was far too many tourists at Versailles. Oh well, you can't help that. I highly recommend this trip.

The Giverny tour was remarkably beautiful. We liked how the guide let us wander on our own. The lunch was also wonderful - we were able to make some new friends with the rest of our small group. The only downside was how crowded Versailles turned out being that day.

Giverny is really woth going, specially the ones that enjoy Monet's paintings. Versailles is something you cannot miss it. The guide is really prepared to give you some tips, you avoid lines and it is a wonderful dau to spend the day outside Paris and see the countryside if you have the time.

A wonderful day with a fabulous guide. Being in a small group was a good advantage. Monets garden was wonderful to see in Spring and the lunch at Moulin Forge was lovely and the setting beautiful. Another wonderful day! Giverny is beautiful and again we had a delicious lunch in an historical building. Then we were off to Versailles. Again, we had a very good guide. We like the small groups in the minivan tours, and the door to door service.

This trip was good! Giverny was amazing and Monet's house is well worth a look. Versailles was very crowded with a lot of bus groups. The audio guide you are given is good to be able to have as you walk around. However, I think you need a full day at Versailles to have a good look around. The gardens and waterfall displays were just amazing! The included lunch was also very nice and location where we ate was lovely also.

We had a lovely trip, and the driver was courteous and informative. I thought, however, that he would be with us in Versailles as we toured the palace "along the way your expert guide brings the past alive with illuminating details of courtly life in the palace". That did not happen! We were given head sets instead. As it turned out, the day was beautiful, the lunch was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed both sights, but we were a little disappointed not having the benefit of a personal guide in the grand chambers as advertised.
