I think a better tour in England would have been helpful.

This trip was very disappointing. It was disorganised on the Paris end and we waited for ages at the bust stop in the cold only to be told we were being taken in a shuttle and not a bus. There two couples and none of them were seated together. In England the man did not meet us as pre-arranged. We were left to try and find out where to go and what to do. Thank goodness there were others so we had support. About 20 minutes later the man appeared and told us to hurry as the bus was going to leave. He was very rude and blunt. One of the couples told him the problem was that he was late and that made him even more rude. All over - nver again.

This was a total waste of time we were left alone in london to work out how to get to the hop on hop off bus, the person who was supposed to meet us in london called in sick and they didn't replace him, it was a nightmare. Plus I payed for First Class Tickets and found out at the Paris office that there wasn't any available. On my return to Australia I had a voice mail message from Viator to let me know First Class lot of good that did me when I was in paris when they rang my home phone in Australia. Hated this tour

Didn't feel that there was much help outside of getting us the train tickets, driving us to the Gare du Nord and then having someone meet us in London to give us the tickets for the Hop On bus. Could have done all these things myself. It's easy to buy a train ticket and the hop on bus stops right at the train station, so you just step out the front doors of the train station and get on it when it comes by.

Reservation agents very helpful. Everything went smoothly. However, when we arrived at the Gare Nord, the gentleman escorted us to the train station but gave us very little information about our departure gate. London was great, the hop-on hop-off busses allowed us to go at our own pace and to see as much as we could during our one day stay. Would reccomend this one day trip.

The London Day Trip was frought with poor planning, tour staff that did not show leaving 12 strangers stranded both before we left Paris and then again in Paris. We were dropped at London station to find our way through customs. When no one met us at the London train station, some of the travelers hired their own car, or cab and the rest of us walked 30 minutes to catch the "Hop on Hop off bus". Quite different than advertised, one has to hop off to catch buses going in the direction of monuments. There are 4 buslines that intersect and the traveler must make the connections to get to your destination. So when at the end of the day, we were at the tower of London only to find out that the "Black line" to the train station would be closed by the time the "Red line West" intersected, we caught a cab back to station. Collectively, eveyone on our trip decided to complain individualy to their hotel concigorie's. As a seasoned traveler, I would have been better making my own arraingements and saved money and frustration.

Our Eurostar trip was good, however, it was disappointing to find out that the couple travelling with us had their booking incorrect made in economy class instead of first class as confirmed and paid for. Found office staff to be quite rude and would not recommend others to use this company for tour bookings.

Sorry to say that the tour was poor due to my 1st class booking becoming a 2nd class booking when I confirmed 24 hours before the trip. Found the staff no help at all.

A fine way to navigate the channel to get to London. The firm transported us from their offices to the Paris train station to board the Eurostar to London. Unfortunately there was no one in the London station to greet us as promised and guide us to the tour bus station. The tour bus itself was very crowded and difficult to find a seat on. We ended up ditching the tour bus and grabbing a cab to get us to two destinations we felt we needed to see before we departed London.

I was a little disappointed to find the first class I had paid for wasn't available on the morning we departed from Paris._br/_ It was a little chaotic on our arrival in London but I think we all managed to get on the right bus.Found you had to pick one colored route to follow as your could never see all the detailed sights on all coloured routes in the time allowed.Overall an enjoyable but long day

Everything went well except for we we got to london that morning the tour guide that was suppose to meet us at the train station was not there. We ost 1 hour of our day finding the bus stop for the hop on hop off tour. That was dissapointing. Other then that it went well.

Fabulous day trip to London, Eurostar great, worth paying for first class. Only disappointment, there wasn't anyone to meet us at Pancras Station from Original Bus Tour as was organised. No problem we found our own way,.

Very disorganized and not at all as advertised. Waited around in Paris for the staff to get organized then upon arriving in London had to wait a very very long time while the staff there printed vouchers for the bus, staff uncertain which bus they were to use, missed the 10:00 bus. No help once you are on the bus and get off, other tours had guides at the stop to help you. Had to take a taxi once to just get to a bus stop. No idea or time to take the Thames River Cruise. Complete waste of money, do not do it. I contacted customer service and they gave me 10% off a $550 trip and did not respond to one of my concerns, not one. Said they gave me 10% off since they didn't go on the cruise, they had no idea how to even find it. Stay away from this group.

The train ride was fine, but trying to see London in a day by bus was near impossible. There was so much traffic that we spent the whole day in the bus and did not get off the bus to explore. The boat ride down the Thames was nice.

Not that great. Never do a day trip to London in then summer time...we spent most of the day stuck in traffic so we brealy had time to see any sights up close...majority of the sights we saw just from the top of London eye. I wish I saved my $$$ and came back to visit some other time for a longer period and a better time of year... Such a waste of money....not to mention the hop-on hop-off bus in London they use (original tours) buses are less frequent than the others (blue line) so not only spend the whole day stuck in traffic but also waiting for the stupid buses....we waited so long for the bus to take us back to the rail station that we almost missed our train back home to Paris...so my husband and I had to book a taxi back to the station...wasting even more money...but we had no choice or else we would have been stranded in London...sigh......

The day trip was fun - however, had we known about all the road work and construction going on in what we believe is in preperation for the 2012 Olympics, I don't think we would of taken this trip at this time. The Hop on Hop off routes were all divereted, slow and did not cover all sites posted on the route. London is always fun - but I wish we would have been forwarned. I would recommend the trip but after the games.

Do not waste your money here!!This was a very disappointing experience! We met at the office where the "tour guide" gave a very brief talk to explain our tour. We got to the train and the food in first class was NOT worth what we paid(breakfast or dinner). "Tour guide" in London was even worse than the one in Paris! Took us outside in the rain to print our vouchers and then she was gone! Bus tour was horrible and never got to the river tour. Headed back to the train station early. Enjoyed a drink and lunch at nice pub... but otherwise a complete waste of money!!!

This trip was a last-minute excursion to London from Paris. The main reason I booked it through Viator was that the price was well below the price of just Eurostar tickets for the four of us. We are pretty experienced travelers and don't need to be "herded" from place to place, but I guess Viator needs to cator to all of their guests. Overall, the experience was good. Everything was pretty well organized and we broke off from the group as soon as we got to London and made our own way back to St. Pancras to catch the Eurostar back. I will recommend them and use them again in the future for these kinds of trips.

I give this two stars because I didn't like the bus company in London AT ALL and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The buses were REALLY slow and the routes weren't convenient either. I did like the things we got to see, however, and our meal at a Pub (The Globe) made our trip.

What a disaster of a day!!! The train trip was uneventful and smooth. From their it all went down hill. London was so hot and crowded on that particular day, maybe left overs from the Royal Wedding?? The traffic was herendous so the bus tour was very slow and the audio guide was way ahead of the area the bus was in. One highlight of the day was the river cruise. The guide on the boat was a great comedian and used this talent to give us an enjoyable hour, We went to three banks in the Trafalga Square area that wouldn't change our Euro as we couldn't buy anything even a drink because no one would take Euro. We got off the bus at Westminister Abbey but couldn't pay to go in. Then mid afternoon the buses stopped running up the street to the Abbey because of the traffic. We were stranded. We were so glad to get back to St Pancras Station where we the restaurant would take Euro. Angie (Australia May 2011)

Great way to see the city, great for seniors. There are 6 different lines on the hop and go, I think it would be beneficial to make a plan of what you'd like to see and how to best plan the tours on the bus routes. At one point one of the lines closed at 3:30 and we had to get off and take a cab to Harrods. The buses with the live guides (some lines have automated guides) were very entertaining (I think the yellow line has the live ones)

Loved the trip! We decided to book it a day before (online) and was really glad we did. The departure process was a little unorganized, with a good bit of standing around waiting for things to happen with little direction. Besides that, the trip went very smoothly and we enjoyed the tours and experience. I definitely recommend it!

This was a great 1 day package to London. We did the 1st class package, which was worth the additional charge. The breakfast & dinner provided on the train was very good. The only issue was at the Paris office, they could not provide any information other than when you needed to be at the office to catch the bus to the train station. Once the bus arrived at the office the guide was very good & provided all of the tickets & information needed for the day. Again this was a great package & I would do it again.

With all of the Viator tours, we arrived timely to begin our tour and we stood waiting 20 minutes. The train ride was awesome and traveling first class was the way to go. Once we arrived and departed London, we did not have to worry about dining since we had wonderful breakfast and dinner on the train. We saw everything we wanted to see in London and even had time for shopping at Harrods.
