At the spectacular Moulin Rouge, the home of the French Cancan for more than a century, you'll sit back with your complimentary champagne and wait in anticipation for the spectacular "Feerie" show to burst onto the stage. The show features a troupe of 100 artists, including 60 legendary Doriss dancers dressed in exotic costumes of feathers, rhinestones and sequins. The show's sumptuous sets include moving staircases, a gigantic aquarium, swings and a garden setting, providing a vibrant, exciting backdrop for the brilliantly choreographed cabaret.

In Winter (Nov - March), you will usually see the first show at 7pm at the Moulin Rouge. Occasionally the Moulin Rouge allocates seats to the second show at 9pm, in which case you will enjoy a complimentary Seine River cruise in between the Illuminations Tour and the Show. In Summer (April - Oct), you will usually attend the 9pm show, but if it isn't available you will attend the 7pm show.

The tour and show were brilliant. The tour guide was knowledgeable and accomodating and the small group made it very friendly. We had prebooked seats for the show so queing time was reduced (although the initial queue into the building was quite far up the road and meant queuing infront of busy bars). The show was entertaining and a lovely end to a brilliant day in Paris.

Very, very, very disappointed. DO NOT BOOK Moulin Rouge show through Viator. They bring you to the show at the last minute when all the good sits are taken, we had to stand for 5 minutes after the show started trying to figure out how they were gonna sit the 4 of us together. It was my wifes b-day and it ruined her nite. Very disorganized. We call to confirm the day of the event and they told us the the 9:00pm show had been cancelled (which is the time we booked) and they had to put us in the 11pm show. When we arrive we were told they were gonna send us on a boat cruise to kill time until it was time to take us to the 11pm show. When the bus stopped at the boarding area for the boats we got off and almost headed towards the boats when we were told we were supposed to stay on the bus to go to the 9pm show. I told the lady at the bus I was told the 9pm show was cancelled and she laughed and said if we were not on that bus we would have missed the show. Viator say it's reserved sitting and that is a complete lie, there is no reserved sitting, at least not for the people that come in the bus as part of the Viator group. Since Viator brings their customers to the show at the last minute they have to sit where ever there is an empty sit. Think about it as going to a movie that is going to fill out and you show up late, what kinda sits are you gonna get???

Viator disappointed us in the handling of this tour that we had booked a month earlier. We arrived on foot 30 minutes before the tour was scheduled to begin at the designated departure area - a very small office with no seating or bathrooms provided. It was very very cold outside and we were not allowed to board our bus until 20 minutes after sceduled departure time, then being told that the 9 oclock show at the Moulin Rouge was not available, so we were going to the 11 oclock show. We had planned to have dinner after the 9 oclock show, so without being previously told of this schedule change made dinner this evening impossible for us. We were then told that a canal cruise had been added and was "given" to us - however, we had already taken another canal cruise provided to us by our hotel package. The illumination tour finally began after to tour guide surveyed all guests still standing outside in the cold, the location of our hotels for dropoff after the show._br/_ The tour was a disappointment because the audio didn't run in parallel with what locations we were viewing. I had been on a tour like this before, and the previous one was excellent while Viator's tour was not. When arriving at the theater we again had to wait about 20 minutes in a long line to get into the theater, only to find our seats in the farthest back location of the theater so we could see very poorly the show. I would not trust this tour company again because of the bad experience we had.

All was great. The guide was superb, and the show very good; a little commercial, but that is what you expect. Paris by night is beautiful; be sure and have your guide arrive at the eiffel tower near the time it starts sparkling. Incredible sight.

Lots of driving but not a lot of sightseeing. The Effiel tower timing should be set to see the lights flash on the hour. Moulin Rouge show is good but seating sucks and you are crammed in really uncomfortable seats. Would not repeat this tour! It is not worth the cost but the bucket list requires you to do it once.

Bus tour was ok. Luckily we picked the good side of the bus (left side) so we saw quite a lot. Sat in traffic for a lot of it though! We was put on the late showing and only ended up getting back to the hotel at 2am which wasn't great. Didnt think mthe show was that good. Worth watching though.

The Paris by Night Illuminations was really bad. They took us in a Bus around the city with a little explanation. We were late for the Moulin Rouge Show. And our seats were located all the way to the top with a big ole in front of us. Very disappointment.

Taking the small 8 person tour was definitely the way to go. It costs extra but it's worth the more concentrated tour and one on one time with the guide. We arrived at the MR for the 11pm show - a bit late but worth the wait - queues were long but moved easily once inside and great seats from anywhere in the theatre. If in Paris this is a MUST DO!

we arrived on time but certainly late for the best seats. We have to sat at the very back corner, so wasn't a very good seating to enjoy the show. Other tours got the groups in earlier and they had the best seat to watched the show. Half way through the show we got bored and felt it wasn't worth it. The Show would probably have been better if we had a better seating, plus we paid for the same price as people who had good seating as it was a first-come-first-serve seating.

The organization and staff who looked after us on the night were excellent. The tour through the city was great. Very informative commentary. Regarding the Moulin Rouge show, we would agree with some of the other written reviews regarding the seating. It is very cramped. The performances were excellent, although we did not expect to see "circus type" acts in Moulin Rouge. If I had the opportunity possible would not revisit this show.

I did read all the mixed reviews about this show and still went ahead and booked this trip on my last day before leaving Sydney, contemplating till the last day - should I go or shouldn't I go? But finally gave in to the popularity and thinking that you do not go to Paris everyday!!! Frankly speaking the show was so boring that me and my husband we both dozed off many times during the show and had to nudge each other to stay awake!!! Not worth the money and time and next time around if someone pays me even half that amount to go and see the show again, I will rather do something else than waste my time on this!!! One could do much better with the amount charged and if you have extra money, give it to some charity...Don';t waste your money and time on this - I am sure Paris has much better things to offer for tourists than this.

Waited 50minutes beyond the advertised collection time as driver was given the wrong directions. This resulted in being at the end of a long queue and having an extra table put in for us on the stairs in the Moulin Rouge near a waiting on station so the waiters kept bobbing across our line of view. Driver was also not at his vehicle when we came out so another weait. The show itself was very professional.

The bus tour by night is highly recommended, the city looks its best by lights and you get to see most of the star attractions. Moulin Rouge was a good show, but even with a tour group the line to get in is long, and the organisation of getting people in and out of the complex by Moulin rouge staff is time consuming and very disorganised.

Starts to lateat night and ends around 3 in morniging in the red zone district, not good. Too olng bus tour ride befor show. Was too sick and missed show. Because it was so late they gave us coupons to use the river cruise so allow alot of time for the whole benefit.

The bus tour was nice thank you not wanting to be critical if the commentary is available in different languages then it should be translated by a native speaker to that language - I could not understand much of mine in English as it had been recorded in French accent - so I did not understand most of the facts - a shame.

Our diver was very friendly and took another guest in the van safe and on time to the show, so he was there to pick us on time too!_br/_ The show... fantastic! I recommend it as a must when you visit Paris and Viator Tours did a great work!

Ok tour - you see a number of sites from a bus - it does not stop to get off and take pics - u just take them from the window. Good intro to paris to get your bearings. The show is great however we got the nose bleed seats! I would try and get better seats - we were at the very back and it was hard to see.

Moulin Rouge show was excellent and the staff on the bus tour looked after us well. However the illuminations tour was very disappointing - didn't show us much and the recorded commentary was brief and often didn't match our location.

Bus tour for the city. It wasnt illuminated as the sun doesnt set till about and hour and a half after the tour started! Moulin Rouge was amazing, but they stuffed up my ticket and I didnt get my wine til 30 minutes before the show ended! Moulin Rouge was great, but this company to me as a tour company was rather bad. The worse tours I have been on in my overall Europe trip with many tours that were done!

We booked through Viator, but when we got to the tour our reservations didn't count. Viator had booked us for the tour and we had pre-paid, but the tour was already fully booked! We almost didn't get to go on the tour or see the Moulin Rouge Show. Finally, we were able to go, but we made the whole bus tour late. The tour and show were great, but I would not recommend booking through Viator because our night was almost ruined.

Illuminations trip started late and we missed the highlight of the tour (Eiffel tower twinkle lights). Moulin Rouge show was good, but not worth the high price. Probably a better use of your money elsewhere.

This was a good night out although we didn't get back to our hotel until 2 a.m. The Paris Night Illuminations weren't all that good as daylight saving had just started so it wasn't dark. Perhaps times need to be different according to daylight saving. It was dark for the cruise though but it would have been better we think if we could have had the tour around the city in the bus after the cruise. However we still had a great night out and enjoyed the Moulin Rouge.

Excellent and thouroughly enjoyable. In summer, would it be possible to start the tour a littlelater than 9pm as there is daylight even at that time and some of the buildings are illuminated later.
