Didn't get to taste many pastry, only had two macaroons, small piece of choc eclair and some chocolate. Tour finished in two hours instead of three.

The tour was ver nice. Myriam is a very nice French young lady, she speaks English very well. We went to five different chocolate and bakery stores, they were all very good. We had time to buy some, she was patient and polite. She also showed us other places not related to the tour, taught us how to taste a good chocolate, and explained us a lot about the history of each place we walked around._br/_ She also gave us recommendations about good restaurants, an any other thing we asked her._br/_ We were just 3 in our group, so every tasting was fast and easy._br/_ I recommend this tour to any sweet tooth like me.

This was so much fun. My husband, daughter and I had a great time and learned so much about chocolate, macaroons and bread. We tasted at each stop, so don't eat a big lunch before going!

Couldn't believe I was the only one on the tour, but what a treat it was. I had the guide Muriel all to myself and she was so nice and sweet, and extremely knowledgeable about the area and each individual store that we visited. Everything that I tasted was so delicious that I went back to some of the stores and bought more! Highly recommended

We loved the tour - especially Marie Cecille who was charming and very knowledgable. As it was for Hamish's birthday, he loved it. We have been telling all our friends back home that it was one of the highlights of our trip. James and Mira Litt

Orangettes, Truffles and Macaroons Oh My! I liked this tour because it was a small group, our guide was very interesting and we ate sweets until our teeth hurt! We went to 7 different shops (chocolatiers, macaroon shop, boulangeries) and tried a variety of French goodies. Our guide gave us recommendations for the best samples to try and was never wrong! I never knew there were so many flavors of chocolate - highly recommend trying violet flavored. The choices at the macaroon shop were also very interesting - I had a combination of foie gras and fig (strangely tasty.) Also a great compliment to the tour was the fact that between shops our guide would point out different buildings and explain the architecture or give some of their history. So while the goodies were delicious and a big highlight of our trip we also learned a lot of interesting facts about Paris that not a lot of the regular conventional tours would have covered.

Small group tour was great we had the complete attention of our guide who was knowledgeable not only on the chocolates and pastries of Paris but of the general history of locations and confectionery scene. More tastings would have been made the tour better value for money and if a shop was closed an alternative option would have been better than just skipping it altogether. Although the places visited were of the highest standard and quality

A very yummy, must do tour. A great way to see the hidden treasures found in the back streets of Paris. Definitely take a "doggy box" to put samples in, you can't eat all that you collect. Our guide was very helpful in ensuring there were samples suitable for our 11 year old, as many chocolates had alcohol in them! A wonderful start to our time in Paris and orientation to Paris.

Our guide, Alexandra was wonderful. We learned so much about the Parisians, their chocolates and pastries. I only wish we could have gone behind the scenes and saw how some of it was made.

Did this tour our first day and loved it! The guide was excellent, the pastries fantastic and the bakery goods heaven. This tour was by far the most popular with our group of 6 girls!!! I spent more on chocolate than anything else.

This is fantastic! Our guide introduced us to all the yummy chocolates and pastries that we would have never found on our own.. It's not located on one street, but spread out on different streets... He brought us to 7 shops and let us chose what type of chocolates/cakes/macaroons we want to bring back (you can choose to eat them at the shop too). My favourite is Pierre Herme macaroons! Yum yums! Join this tour! You will not regret it! :)

This was awesome! Ives was incredible! He took us to some wonderful neighbourhoods in Paris and we sampled the most delicious chocolates and pastries Paris has to offer! This was definitely one of the highlights from our trip. It was great because we went into stores you wouldn't normally go in on your own. Ives was very informative and we had a fantastic time. Would definitely do it again. Thanks Ives!

Our trip was all chocolate. too much so, and no pastry food, the guide was rather disinterested and less informative than expected. The setting (St Germain) is wonderful and deserves a better tour as evidenced by the one hidden courtyard and famous restuarant that we did see

Yummy! Our guide was excellent, and very easy to understand. She answered all of our questions, and we learned a lot about French food and culture. I think we walked enough to counter the calories from the goodies we ate during the tour!

We were running late and Marion, our truly amazing guide, was more than accomodating of our mistake. The meeting place was easy to find and relatively central. The places visited were all of the highest quality and had the most delicious food. Do not eat before going on this tour because there is so much to try and it is far too good to waste. Marion was phenomenal. She didn't just know about the food and the food manufacturers, she also included history of some of the buildings we were walking past and just made the entire tour more delightful.

Yves was our guide. We went to four chocolate shops, one bread store. I don't think we stopped in any patisserie shops. Yves was ok as a guide, throwing in some history along the way. I expected to see chocolates being made. Not so. They aren't made here- only sold here. Yes, it's over a hundred bucks. Yes, they are fancy chocolates. But I enjoyed the wine tour day trip much more. It's ok, just not great.

This was a super tour -- the best I had in Paris. We visited several shops and were given samples in each (some that we got to select). I went for the "surprise me' samples and was never disappointed. It was interesting to learn about different techniques to make the chocolate or how the ingredients and process make the items special. We visited 3 or 4 chocolate shops and a bread shop. I wished I had purchased more to take home. Be sure to note the store name or get a card so you can return later if you need to increase your supply. :) I did get slightly sick after the tour ended -- too many sweets, but it was totally worth it. If I did it again, I'd save some samples for later, knowing that I'd return before leaving the city to purchase more items. I recommend taking this tour when you first arrive so you have good knowledge of the area, shops and samples to enjoy while you are there.

My daughter and I loved this tour and certainly was a highlight during our stay in Paris. Marion was a fabulous tour guide not just of Chocolates and Pastries, but little bits of interesting information as we walked along the streets of churches, coffee shops, places of interest as well.

I can't recommend this tour highly enough! I took 5 tours in Paris and this was easily my favourite. This tour is so good that even if you don't like chocolate I would still recommend this tour. The displays inside the chocolate shops and pastry shops were works of art, and we tried surprisingly good combinations like thyme and orange chocolate, or a pastry with lychee, raspberry and rose. Delicious! We also learned about the local area and visited St. Sulpice and Le Procope, even seeing Marie Antoinette's final letter. Our guide Marion was wonderful. If your experience is anything like mine then this tour will be a highlight of your trip.

This was our last day in Paris and thank goodness we signed up for the tour or we may have missed one of the great sections of Paris, St. Germaine! It is a lively, fun, trendie area with nice small shops and, of course, the chocolate! Each of the 6 shops was different in every way and the tastings were superb. All the shopkeepers were very nice and obviously proud of the treasures they offered. It's a great way to buy gifts for those at home particularly on the last day. The tour guide was very at home in the area and had everything worked out for a nice stroll through this part of town.

A very enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. Yves was very pleasant and interspersed the walk with various historical anecdotes that added value to the tour. The shops we visited were all first class and each different in their own way. All in all, top marks.

Tour guide was knowledgeable about chocolates, pastries and bread. The tour was a fantastic walk through the latin quarter with tasting at an olive oil shop, and stops at a tea shop and fruit stand. I especially enjoyed sampling chocolates, pastries, cookies and breads. Needless to say, I did not eat dinner that evening!

We loved the chocolate and pastry tour! Roberto was friendly and very knowledgeable about the places we visited, the foods we tasted and many other subjects. The only complaint we would have is that it was sometimes hard to hear what he was saying while we were walking because the streets are so narrow and we all couldn't get close to him. I don't know if a microphone headset would be possible along with headphones for the participants but that did work well with other tours we took.

My girlfriend and I thought this would be an excellent way to experience the chocolates and pastry's that France prides themselves on. We were not disappointed our tour guide was very knowledgeable about not only the chocolatiers of this area but also about the history of the area in which we were walking._br/_ I would recommend this tour whilst in Paris.

We just returned home, wonderful time! I thoroughly enjoyed Elizabeth and her tour. It was a wonderful glimpse of Paris. My only suggestions would be to perhaps tell what part of Paris you are in as you walk. Also, it would have really been nice to finish with a coffee and dessert at an outdoor cafe. Really great time.
