Your walking tour with a difference begins with a guided 1.5-hour visit to the magnificent Louvre Museum. You'll then take a boat ride along the Seine River to the Eiffel Tower, where lunch is served in the exceptional setting of the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant on the tower's first floor. The early afternoon is left free for you to explore the Eiffel Tower.

After lunch it' time to board another boat to take you along the Seine River to Notre Dame Cathedral for a 45-minute guided visit of this famous building. The Paris Walking Tour by River Shuttle concludes at Notre Dame, leaving you free to continue your visit to the cathedral on your own.

Traveling before August 31, 2012? Eiffel Tower Paris is currently experiencing delays due to a technical incident with the elevators. Only one elevator is in function until August 31, 2012. Consequently, the Eiffel Tower cannot guarantee access for this tour. We will continue to accept sales and replace the Eiffel Tower with the following substitutes. The elevator may open at any time so the tour guide will notify you upon tour commencement if the original itinerary is possible.

I think calling this a Paris In One Day Sightseeing Tour is a misnomer. We did not see Paris in one day -- we saw the Louve, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame only. Plus, there was no indication it would be a walking tour. The guide was very knowledgeable though and lunch at the Eiffel Tower was good.

This tour is really the best way to see a lot in a little bit of time. We were passing though Paris and only in town for a day. We saw all the highlights. There were 6 of us so we took up the entire small group tour with only 1 other couple with us, it was like a private tour. We jumped the que at the louve for all the important works of arts Mona Lisa, Venus,etc. The boat ride was more or a city shuttle making a few stops in between but still nice, however it was a glass in closed boat no fresh air and the river was a little bumpy so if you are prone to motion sickness take some dramamine and you'll be fine. Then we jumped the que at the effle tour and went straight to lunch which was the first floor of the Effle tower. There was not enough time to go all the up to the top since it was a Saturday the lines were crazy long, and was two more elevators rides up to the top but there was a small trinket shop on the same level as the restaurant which is probably 10 stories up. Then it was off to Norte Dame the only "free" no charge church I saw in all of Europe. It was beautiful but very crowded hence it is free. The tour ends there but we opted for some excellent hot cocoa directly across the river from Norta Dome and walked our way back to Gare de Lyon. Which as a side note- the hotel above had lockers to store our luggage in for the day while we were out.

We stayed in Paris for 2 days therefore had to see it all in a short time. This tour was perfect for that. The guide was informative and friendly. All in all there wasn't anything negative. I would recommend it.

Would highly recommend this tour if you're limited on time in Paris. We got into the Louvre without waiting in the very long line and the guide took us directly to the points of interest. The Eiffel Tower line was quick because we already had our tickets (again another long line for those without tickets). It was nice having our guide talk about things in Notre Dame instead of just walking around and not knowing what was actually in this incredible cathedral. This tour is part of another tour company and you have to go to the company to begin the tour however it was within walking distance of the Louvre so it was fine.

Tour includes a trip to the Louvre, which is great but it felt rushed. Lunch at the Eiffel Tower was great and we had plenty of time there. The tour guide was a little overwhelming with facts. Good tour overall if you want want to see several things quickly, but you'll have to go back to the sites to truly enjoy them.

An excellent day. Our guide, Isabel, spoke clearly and with enthusiasm. We had a busy day but it did not feel rushed. She guided us to the "main" features at the Louvre. By yourself, you would have spent hours finding these. Lunch at the Tower was fabulous and we had prompt entry due to being on "the tour"_br/_ Travelling on the Seine was relaxing and pleasant. We were so lucky - it was a beautiful day, weatherwise. Notre Dame completed a superb day. I would highly recommend this tour for those with limited time in Parisl _br/_ Since then I have seen the movie, "Midnight in Paris," and relived it all!!

Great tour!! We enjoyed it so much!! The tour guides were great. We really enjoyed Dominique. The only draw back was when we had the second part of the tour. It was in 2 languages and it lost part of its meaning for us. We felt like we had to share part of our time with a different language. That part was difficult. My recommendation to the tour guides would be to keep one language person for each language. Other than that, it was fabulous!!

The tour was not well planed. There were about 3 hours allocated for lunch at Eifel tower and it is also not possible to go to the top of the eifel tower by our own within these three hours because of the long queue.

It is a very good tour-Paris in One Day Sightseeing Tour. My niece and I came to Paris for a week and we decided to use our time in Paris in a smart and comprehensive way, so we booked this tour. We enjoyed every part of this delightful experience of taking a boat ride and seeing Seine, enjoyed eating great food visiting Eiffel tour and looking and seeing great scenes from the top of the tower, we enjoyed listening to a historical and artistic stories of our guide visiting museums and walking along the charming streets of Paris! Oh, it was lovely! The Tuilerie, Notre Dame de Paris, Louvre... Paris is bohemian, musical,divine and charming...we fell in love with Paris! We would highly recommend this tour because it is interesting, well-organized program that included many interesting parts: walking, riding a boat, having a delicious lunch and indulging in the art and music of Paris!

Fantastic tour especially if you are short on time. Highlight was the Eiffel Tower, lunch was fantastic too. Notre Dame was beautiful and The Louvre was amazing. Our tour guide was a little hard to understand, however I found it easier to ditch the headphones and just walk closer to our guide to hear him talk. Good value for money.

We got separated from the guide and he didn't seem to care if he found us. About half hour later he came back on the headset and we were able to locate him. He was not very friendly. :(

This was a great tour with a really nice tour guide. We got to see some of the really important sites within a few hours. Lunch was great and it was fun to ride the Bato Bus from site to site.

This tour was worth every cent. Our tour guide Helene was brilliant and how she kept that umbrella up the whole day for us to see, I'll never know. The tour ran seamlessly. Our lunch at the Eiffel Tower was lovely, as was the boat ride along the Seine. The Louvre was unbelievable and Helene took us to the main attractions. The Notre Dame Cathedral blew me away. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Cityrama was not very helpful as we were late by 15-20 Minutes to the location of pickup and the office staff was quite impolite while dealing with us and wasted almost an hour making us wait. I would say wonderful guide (Ms. Caroline)made up for all our frustration with her kind attention and customer service starting from Eiffel Tower, tough we had missed louvre musuem. I advise Cityrama staff to be more customer friendly.

OK, but probably not really worth it. It was nice to have someone else do a lot of the work, but probably not necessary, and a bit too expensive for what was provided. The execution was lacking; things started very late, were disorganized, we often could not hear the guide, etc. It would be easy to do this tour on one's own, and almost certainly much cheaper, even using taxis, etc.

My initial reaction to the this tour was quite poor due to the lack of organisation on the part of the tour operator. Our group walked approximately 5 minutes before being introduced properly to our guide due to the noise around the tour office.

Pressed for time, but want to take in the "must see sights", then this tour is for you. Fast paced, good food, and an informed guide. I couldn't have asked for more. I highly recommend it!

Very rushed the guide seemed to be more intent on getting to the meeting point at the Louvre (we only rushed through the art section what about the rest?) for the boat trip the next guide took us through the Cathedral also in a rush I could not hear a word she said, she also struggled to keep the group together.It was far to busy I did not hear hardly a word she said. As stated the tour ended here but it would have been nice to have the return leg of the hop-on-hop-off part of the boat cruise as it cost me a trip back where as the day ticket which I beleive was part of the package would have saved me some money. Just almost a total waste of time

Our tour guide, Stephanie, was delightful. Our only disappointment was not getting to the top of the Eiffel tower. Even though many other reviewers on this site had time on their tours, we were in Paris during the height of tourist season and lunch took forever which left no time to wait in the long line to go to the top. We did enjoy skipping the line at the Louvre!

The tour guide was great! Very knowledgeable. We had to get back to Eiffel tower for night tour. She was worried we would get lost so she took us personally on the train,made sure we had the right stop and when I lost my Metro ticket she made me use her pass rather than buy another ticket!!

I loved the Louvre tour. The guide was great in explaining the events chronologically. Eiffel tower was great. Notre Dame tour was good. But the Louvre tour was the best part.

What a great day. The concept, Paris in one day, is ridiculous, but the guide was superb, and the visits to the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral were concise and very informative. Saw the high points of all sights, and the 3 teenagers we were travelling with were kept interested. Could not have asked for more.
