Very badly organised There were no staff available "on the ground" only drivers It was very difficult to find stops as they were badly signed and not accurately described in the literature available Because no-one was available for queries, times of buses were not known and waits up to and over an hour were common Also some stops had been temporarily moved because of road works but no indication given where to find them I was very disappointed with this tour as I have been on many other Viator city tours which are excellent

We bought the two day's pass. It was really worthy it. The 4 routes covered in our tickets pretty much showed us the entire Paris. Saved a lot of time walking. Highly recommended.

Buses couldn't hold the people who wanted to go. Many had to stand inside the bus so you couldn't see out the windows, nor could you pulg in the headset.

This is a great way to get around Paris. Pretty good value. Initially I wasn't too sure about where the stops were until we picked up a route map from the Cityrama Office in Rue de Rivoli. Then, it all became crystal clear. Also, once on the bus there are plenty of maps to pick up from the rack next to the driver. I am not sure whether the route map is somewhere on the website but I didn't come across it. It would have been useful to have had it before we set off. I met someone at the bus stop on our second day who had just arrived and was confused about the stops. I gave her my route map and picked up another on the bus myself.

My wife and daughter 2 days in Paris. Crowded bus, standing room only. Slow in getting to stops. We decided to leave after second stop and walk for rest of morning.

The tour covers Paris very well but there can be long waits for buses especially away from the main green route.

We had two problems with the tour. When you are waiting for a tour bus there is no way of telling what route it is serving i.e. green, yellow etc. You have to get in the queue for that bus and ask the driver. If it is not your chosen route you have lost your place in the queue. To be honest we gave up and took the metro most of the time. The second issue was that the frequency of the buses was insufficient for the numbers of people waiting and the bus filled before you could get on. I accept this was a busy time and schools were on holiday etc. but that should be anticipated.

We enjoyed our 2 day hop-on hop-off tour. But be careful at the end of the day. The buses may not finish where you started.

L'Open Tour was not worth the money I paid. The schedule was confusing and misleading. The bus stops were not clearly marked as they described. The buses were not on time. A few of them stopped well ahead or after the indicated bus stops requiring us to take a different bus 30 minutes later, run to where the bus had stopped, or just walk. I would not use this service next time I'm in Paris.

Way too long a stop at each pickup point. Had to wait for the driver to have a coffee made. Or sit in the bus until he had eaten a whole apple.

I had a fantastic day. Toured all day just didnt have enough time in to be in Paris . Needed three days minimum to see beautiful sights .The hop on hop off bus service was fantastic courteous drivers and frequency of buses OK. I did find it difficulty to locate the bus stops initially. Once I got the hang of it I was fine

Amazing tour - greatest way to see Paris in a short amount of time. The Blue line is definitely the best however, prepare your day because at 6pm sharp they ask everyone to get off the bus!

It is very apparent that not all four tours operate frequently. For example, the Orange tour is the worst one and you have to wait a very long time for the bus. This should be specified. Some of the stops have been moved due to road work and there was no mention of this. For example it took us ages to find out where the bus was leaving in front of the Eurostar station. It has been moved across a side street. The Notre Dame stop has also been moved. One very frustrating part of the tours is that most of the buses stop for avery log time at aech bus stop and consequently if you had plan you journey, you would have to think again. I would say that the whole experience was just satisfactory.

An excellent way to see Paris in all it's glory. We only wished for there to be some way of knowing how long we had to wait for the next bus. We will definitely be using the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus the next time we visit Paris.

The bus was great. We had a first look at Paris and saw many interesting sights many of which we made sure to see again. The headset worked perfectly and I would reccommend this to anyone on their first trip to Paris.

We could not locate the Guard Du Nore stop at first as it is only a small sign and we were looking for one on a regular bus stop! However, once on board, the tour was informative .The coloured route sign is located in the front window, which makes it easy to establish which route you need when its a changeover stop. Maps of the city are available free on the bus, together with other attration leaflets and information. Definate way to tour Paris and all its attractions !!!

If you can allot two consecutive days then it is worth the time and money as one can get on and off the bus. Otherwise one can only do two of the four routes in a day due to the frequency of busses. Check to see what the final stop of the bus will be as our bus stopped midaway through the route even though there was still time to complete the entire route prior to the time specified as the last time of the day.

We thought the Hop On Hop Off bus tour in Paris was great. Not only did we have a stop very close to our hotel, it stopped at all the main sights and the recorded dialogue was very helpful. A great way to see Paris!!!

This is a very convenient way to scope and see Paris....well worth it, but the time span is quite short for any who wish to do the hop on hop off thing,....with the lines at the museums and the intervals of the arrival of the bus it is very hard to do the rounds of all the routes! I do advice that you get at least 2 days to be able to go to all the routes.

Follow my advise: DO NOT BUY THIS TOUR. I wish someone had advised me!. We just wasted the money, and a lot of time too: We bought two day passes, the first day we just couldn't use it, as we wanted to see different things, and every time we stopped to wait for the bus we got tired of waiting and ended up walking or taking the metro. In the winter this bus comes by every 25 to 30 minutes, while the Red buses come a lot more often and run later in the evening. The second day we decided to wait for this bus, as we wanted to at least justify the expense...While we were waiting at a stop for 24 minutes, we saw 3 or 4 of the red cars go by. We went up the Eiffel Tour and were heading back to Central Paris at about 8 pm. The red cars were still running, while these ones had long stopped operating (at around 4:30 pm). So we had to walk and take the Metro :o)

During the winter months the buses come every 30 minutes whis is a long time to stand in the cold if you just miss a bus and in some instances we waited for more than half an hour. A lot of time is wasted waiting for buses and traveling to a destination where the metro would be much quicker. On some sectors the sound system was not great and difficult to hear the commentary. I would recommend getting a one day pass and do all the loops to orientate to the city, without leaving the bus more than once or twice and then use the metro to travel to preferred sights on following days.

This is the better bus line if you want to see other sights in Paris other than the top 8 attractions or so that the red bus services. However, the red bus is included with the Paris pass..so weight the options.

An excellent way to see the beautiful architecture of Paris with a running commentary. Some of the routes were so good we did them more than once. The temperatures were in the 90s so we were blessed to be able to just sit there and let the bus do all the work. Loved it.

The L'Open tour was a wonderful way to experience the best of Paris within a limited time frame. We spent two days on the bus and found it very convenient and great value for money. The only thing I would suggest is that the bus stops could be numbered more clearly on the signposts as it was sometimes difficult to find corresponding numbers from the map, and you had to rely on being able to locate landmarks instead. Overall, I would definitely recommend L'Open Tour to anybody planning a visit to Paris.
