Swan Valley Wine Cruise from Perth

Take an entertaining day cruise from Perth along the beautiful Swan Valley, and wine and dine as you go! You'll cruise to the upper reaches of the Swan River, go wine tasting at premium wineries in the Swan Valley and enjoy lunch at a riverside winery restaurant.

Morning tea will be served soon after you board, followed by cheese and biscuits and a tasting of premium "Wines of the Month" from Houghton's Winery and other local Western Australian vineyards.

You'll then cruise into the upper reaches of the Swan to disembark at the prestigious Sandalford Estate. Here you will sample and have the opportunity to purchase some of Sandalford's distinctive premium wines.

Then it's time to cruise back downstream to arrive at the Waters Edge Winery. You'll enjoy a delicious three-course lunch at the winery's waterfront restaurant overlooking the Swan River, accompanied by relaxing music from the restaurant's pianist.

On your return cruise to Perth there are more complimentary wine tastings to enjoy and some surprise entertainment to follow!

Really enjoyable cruise would definitely recommend this cruise at the top of the wish list for anyone visiting perth. The crew aboard the cruise were professional but still had the warm friendly australian humour that engages the participants. The meal we had was alright but not up to the high standard that we experienced around the other eating places in Perth. All in all it was a fantastic day and we met some great people on the trip. Would definitely do it again!

Our day trip to Sandalford Winery for wine tasting and lunch at Rivers Edge Winery was a most happy outing for us, we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our travelling companions were entertaining and added to our fun day out. We would recommend this trip to locals and visitors to Perth.

Even though the weather wasn't so great, it didn't dampen the fun on board. We had the best day ever. Plenty of great wines to taste and excellent food. The staff were fantastic and the entertainment was amazing. I would definitely recommend this cruise.

My sisters and I had such a marvellous time on this tour and I would do it all again. The staff were wonderful, friendly and all so talented with beautiful singing voices and the captain of boat had a great sense of humor. Food and wine was extremely good. Would thoroughly recommend, well done to you all and thank you for giving us such a good day.

The day was awesome. I had a friend from Brisbane visiting and not only was it informative, but gave us an opportunity to see some beautiful areas in Perth. Wayne, Victoria and Dan were all fantastic (and the wine was delicious). I have since encouraged 4 of my friends to do the tour and my parents will also be doing it next month when they visit from interstate. In a nut shell - "It's a great day full of yummy wine, eating way too much food and partying on with the hilariously awesome hosts (who all happen to be professional singers). I would recommend to anyone from out of town or to locals who just haven't got around to doing it and everyone in between."

My friends and I had a fantastic time and highly recommend to anybody wishing to do something different for their birthdays. I really liked the crew and how they remembered patrons names and how they seemed to genuinely care about our enjoyment. Well worth the money!!!!

This was just a fantastic cruise. The staff are very friendly, have a wealth of knowledge and are lots of fun. The captain looks like Brad Pitt (if you have a bit to drink and squint!!). I would highly recommend this to everyone!

A commentary about the river and what you are seeing would be a great addition. The entertainment (singing) by the crew is far below an acceptable standard and embarassing. It should be discontinued.

We had a very enjoyable tour to the wineries. The captain was amusing and very friendly as were all the staff. We enjoyed the wine talk, how to taste and assess wines and the wines themselves were interesting and palatable. The food at lunch time was delightful and extra nibbles were a nice balance to the wines. The entertainment was fun and we had two very good singers on the boat. We both really enjoyed the experience and would certainly recommend it to friends. Booking was easy

A very leisurely day spent tasting local wines and visiting two wineries. Lunch at one of the wineries was quite good. A bonus on our trip was two of the boat crew singing after lunch at the winery and on the return cruise. Good singers, good repertoire helped make the trip all the more memorable.

The cruise was fantastic. The staff on board both cruise boats (different boat on return) were wonderful. Shar and Shilo (who I understand was on her first day with the cruise) and a young man by the name of Chris (who had the most wonderful singing voice) on our return journey - made our day !!! Our trip to Perth was our first holiday in 9 years and the second one without the kids who are now in their mid 20's & 30's....(the first holiday being our honeymoon. Highly recommend Swan Valley River Cruise (wine tasting and lunch)......

Wine Cruise was fun - met new people and onboard staff just wonderful .....only problem I encountered was the coach pick up at our accomodation ....not knowing Perth area .... did not realise that Northbridge is not considered Perth CBD area and I didnt understand from the online booking that passengers out of CBD - do not get picked up - We nearly missed the Cruise and ran all the way to Barrack Street ...Please let unfamiliar travellers know that pick ups dont always happen with this booking !!- Rottnest Island bus picked us up at the accomodation door - on our next day trip We met up with other complaintees saying the same thing as us ...& they were not happy either ......Thanks for opportunity to comment....

This was one of the most enjoyable day trips my 5 guests and myself have had the pleasure of being involved with. From the moment we started the cruise to the final step off. The staff were polite, friendly, helpful and very entertaining - both comedic and with some wonderful voices...The lunchtime meal was absolutely delicious and finished with some wonderful songs. The wine tastings were all well presented, both the Waters Edge Winery lunch and Sandalford tasting were ideal with Swan River scenic cruise to top it off. The Captain and the staff on board the cruise were fantastic, we had a beautiful day with perfect skies - a little cloudy at the end of the day. A day to remember and worth every cent.

Was an extremely relaxing and fun day that I shared with my daughter. The crew were very knowledgable,friendly and attentive. Met some lovely people on board, and shared a surprisingly good 3 course lunch and sampled a wide selection of wines as well. Would recomend for wine buff's and novices alike.

A wonderful day out. Service on the boat was excellent and the cruise was charming. The wines on board were good enough and they were certainly plentiful. The best wines were at the Sandleford Estate where the presentation was professional and informative. Lunch was tasty and pleasant. One downside was the blaring recorded rock music on the way back, not relaxing and it lowered the tone of the cruise. Ditto for the attempt to make everyone dance the Congo, no one wanted to do this. Bravo however to the crew member who sang for us, she was very good.

A fantastic time was had by all! We were well looked after from the moment we joined the tour right up to the moment we left it. Everyone in the crew was very polite and helpful and great entertainers. All of them went out of their way to make sure we were happy and having a great time all day.
