Phuket to Phi Phi Islands by Speedboat

Phuket, Thailand

This tour offers a full day out to visit Koh Phi Phi, which many regard as the two most beautiful islands in the Andaman Sea.

Your 1-hour speedboat transfer to Phi Phi will ensure you spend less time on the water between Phuket and Phi Phi and more time on the island swimming, snorkeling or relaxing - perfect for those who have limited time and would prefer to spend more time exploring the area.

Please note that the speedboat will be traveling at faster speeds than the ferry transfer to Phi Phi and one should expect a bumpy ride as the vessel travels across the waves at high speed.

During the tour you will discover the fantastic landscapes of 'Maya Bay' made famous by the film 'The Beach', enjoy a great lunch at a beach side location on Phi Phi Island and after lunch you will transfer to a secluded beach where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling or simply soak up the sun on the beach.

Prompt pick up- Great Day had, well worth every penny and made our trip to Phuket!_br/_ Speed boat was exactly like the one pictured and stopped off on a number of occasions at islands and for snorkelling to break up the trip to Phi Phi. _br/_ Stopped for dinner in a little restaurant/ shack on a small bay which had an amazing view. Thai food was provided which tasted great._br/_ All staff members were extremely friendly, spoke excellent English and had great local knowledge pointing out different sights en route to Phi Phi._br/_ Would highly recommend this trip!!

The beaches were amazing! The only down side was we had to take an impromptu hike to get to our lunch site and one of the ladies on our tour tripped, fell and cut her nose and bled everywhere. She was ok and did not hurt much but I think maybe they should have taken us to another lunch site that was easier to get to via boat.

Best tour ever! if you get sea sick take tablets first. Otherwise it was such a beautiful experience. A lot of swimming and jumping in and out of the boat in the middle of the ocean. Snorkelling is a must! So much food is given and its all oh so yummy. Water is always so warm, a little too warm if you ask me.

Although it was raining (we went in july during monsoon season) the trip was great! we had just enough time to swim and snorkel at each stop and each stop was beautiful. after this trip patong seemed far too dirty to enjoy!

Good tour, got to visit a few islands (except the James Bond one), do a bit of snorkeling - with plenty of fish, and have a nice buffet lunch.

We had a great time on this trip. The guides and the boat driver did a great job. We enjoyed all the beautiful lagoons and beaches. Lunch was great. When the dark clouds rolled in at the end of the day, our driver made great time back to port. This was one of our favorite days.

I can't say enough about this trip. It was paradise. Great guide, loved every beach. There was more than enough time at every island. I never felt rushed. It was relaxing and nice. I felt that we saw a lot of the phi phi islands in one day.

Beautiful - saw lots of islands and pretty places. It was nice to be able to see Maya Bay, but it was incredibly crowded with a roped off swimming area akin to a swimming pool.

Excellent trip!! A must if you want to see the coral and fish. This tour does not go to the shops on Phi Phi island though, so if you want shopping go on another tour, but if you want to see the nature side, this is for you!

Excellent trip, just spoilt by a heavy rain just as we arrived at Maya Bay. Lunch was average, boat was very hot and humid! The staff were very friendly and informative! Glad we did it but was probably a bit too pricey!

Disappointing! This tour should be taken only by those planning to snorkel and should be advertised as such. The operator did nothing to accommodate non-swimmers. The operator also had some customers sign a waiver to hold them harmless in case of poor weather conditions forced changes to the programme or caused injuries to the participants. This boat ride was extremely rough which a number of people became sick.

A great day out with a friendly guide. For lunch, you board another boat which does become a bit overcrowded as all the tours seem to use it. Luckily, we were there first. Lovely sites to see with some good snorkelling in the morning. Obviously, the highlight of the day is heading to the beach which doesn't fail to impress. Overall a lovely relaxing day.

Trip was everything that was promised. Picked up hotel on time by nice van speedboat was very nice & very fast! The ONLY was to get there as it's farther than you'd think. Islands are beautiful & snorkeling very nice. Only thing I'd change is forget stopping at "The Beach" island as it's too crowded, the toilets stink, and if you leave your shoes in the boat as the guides suggest, it will be impossible to walk over the coral to actually see that site. Take your Dramamine & SPF 50 as the ride, particularly if you're stuck in the open front, is rough & very sunny. OK for my bad back, though & they planed ride better on way back so well that several of us fell asleep. Great day!.

This was a fantastic day but I think that the weather on the day you travel affects the experience. No issues to mention, the guides were funny, knowledgeable and professional on this day trip and would have no hesitation recommending this to other travellers. A perfect trip if you want to see a lot in one day.

We loved this day out! Our tour guide was very helpful & made sure we were all enjoying ourselves. The islands are absolutely beautiful & definitely worth seeing! It was very rough on our way back, but I took a tablet before we left & it worked for the whole day. I only recommend this if you are keen to relax for the day, my friend was very restless & thought we had too much time at each island, but I thought it was perfect.

A lot of people on this tour, so there is a bit of a wait until everyone arrives; then you get split into smaller groups. This tour is definitely worth doing, saw some beautiful beaches and lagoons and the snorkelling was amazing. Saw some unforgettable sites.

You have to see Phi Phi Iland. The Speedboad is very fast. Tip Take ALWAYS the seat in the back inside. In the front is like Bullriding but over half an hour !! The crew is very helpfully and funny.

This was a very well organised trip. Phi Phi Island is stunning and it was great to see such a remote part of Thailand. The lunch was great too, sitting on the beach. Just a lovely day all round. We were lucky our guide knew the monkeys at monkey beach only like nuts not banana. We literally had them eating out of our hands!! Don't take banana--they won't come near you no matter what your guide says. Fantastic day out, but if you get seasick take a tablet or two!! It can get very very rocky out there. I was so sick, but it was worth every minute when we arrived!!

This was just the best day out. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. The scenery was spectacular, particularly Maya Bay and Monkey Beach. This trip was well worth it, and I would recommend it to everyone.

Early start is worth it for this unforgettable trip to some beautiful islands. Boat was VERY choppy at times though, so maybe take a seasickness tablet before you set off. Only downside is the day is a bit rushed with so many islands to see, and you don't get more than half an hour in any one place before you are back on the boat again for the next one. Think everyone would have liked some more time on the beach in between, but snorkeling was great, and both guide and boat driver were experts. Fresh fruit and endless cold drinks and cold towels on the boat were a nice touch. Worth the bumpy ride just to swim in the lagoon and see the monkeys on the beach! Even if they were a bit wild!

Initial welcome was very professional, however the trip itself left a great deal to be desired. The boat was most uncomfortable and of poor standard. Phi Phi Island was very overrated and would definitely not recommend a visit. The boat was unable to get into the island because of the amount of craft already berthed which meant laying off the island for a long spell - approx 45mins. The meal on the return journey was of very poor quality and was cold. The restaurant was very poor standard.

WARNING - If you have back problems, are pregnant or you don't like rough seas, then don't go! The trip was in a small speedboat facing 2 meter swells which was very concerning, so getting to Phi Phi and the other islands was a huge relief and well worth the suffering. Phi Phi is still recovering from the Tsunami with work in progress, but still a pretty island to visit. Definitely not for the faint hearted! And the ferry is worse according to other travellers.

Absolutely terrible. We were picked up from our hotel at 740am and we didn't get on to the boat until 1140am. We wasted all morning hanging around waiting and being told many lies as to why the delay, but it seems it was way overbooked and they intended to overload the boats. The trip was a very shortened version and was disappointing. The area of Phi Phi they take you is horrible and lunch was a warmed up affair. They did have plenty of water, soft drinks and fruit to offer.

This was well-organised and we were very well looked after by the guides. There were plenty of drinks and fresh fruit supplied throughout the day, and lunch was great. The islands are beautiful and the waters are spectacular. I have never snorkeled before and it was a fantastic experience which I will never forget.

Far too much time waiting in departure areas. The guide was not enthusiastic or particularly friendly and answered questions with few words. The biggest disappointment, we spent all of 2 minutes gliding through the beautiful Maya Bay. We spent too much snorkeling and looking at monkeys. Lunch was a good buffet. Over all, very poor time management and organization. I would not do this trip again from Phuket.
