The world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is only one of a trio of Romanesque splendors on the green carpet of Piazza dei Miracoli - a serious rival to Venice's Piazza San Marco for the title of Italy's most memorable square.

The tour will take you just next to the wonderful Tower in Piazza dei Miracoli and will continue to the Historical Center of Pisa with its Lungarni, the streets along the Arno river, and you can also enjoy an excursion to the Parco di San Rossore, a huge green area just outside the town.

You can hop-on and off as many times as you like aboard this open-top double-decker bus. The four tour routes are inter-connected so you can hop easily between them.

The City Tour route takes approximately 45 minutes. Buses depart every 60 minutes and highlights include: Lugarno Mediceo, Via Crispi and Lungarno Simonelli

Park Tour Tenuta di San Rossore - Line B
The Park Tour route takes approximately 45 minutes. Buses depart every 60 minutes and highlights include: Via Carlo Cammeo and Viale delle Cascine

If you only have a short time in Pisa, this is an excellent way of getting an overview of the city. The bus crew were very pleasant and helpful.

This was the worst experince I had on my Italy vacation. Do not go on this tour especially in the summer. I went with a family group of 10 adults and 5 children. It was 95 degrees and this tour bus doesn't have AC!! In the bus it must have been well over 100 degrees! We could only do 2 stops due to the heat in the bus.

Staff were helpful and friendly, but because most worthwhile sightseeing is all within a 10 minutes walk, trip in Pisa is not worth doing.

Oh well. Nice tour! Not much to see in Pisa other than the leaning tower, but that's not the tours fault. They were there on time and were very nice. But Pisa, holding a wonder, has nothing much to offer as a city other than that!

Pisa is not a big tourist attraction with the exception of the leaning tower. While it is very pretty, the hop on hop off bus was not worth the money on this one for what was available to see.

The old city is an area to walk around - the Duomo and tower are not in the centre and the bus is a convenient way to get to them.

This is worth it if your going to spend the whole day in Pisa and take advantage of visiting several locations offered on the hop on hop off bus route. However, if you are just going to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, you're probably better off, just taking the public bus from the main train station in Pisa.

The bus stop at the train station is not well marked. The bus stops at the right side of the station where there is no sign-board, whilst the sign-board is at a bus stop opposite the train station where the bus does not stop at all!

With two different lines available, you can go out into the countryside or just stay in the city. Very nice. Commentary was available in several different languages.
