Your dolphin swim begins with an educational introduction presented by expert dolphin trainers. You'll learn fascinating facts about these amazing creatures and receive important safety instructions for your dolphin encounter - a must for a truly pleasurable experience.

All participants in the dolphin swim must wear life jackets (provided) to float freely on the surface, allowing the dolphins to come much closer. A maximum of 10 participants and two dolphins take part in each session, ensuring a truly personal encounter!

It was great. Truly once in a lifetime. The dolphins are strong and really smart. The stunts were really fun and they were super playful. And we ended up doing the Sea Lion Experience also and that was awesome as well.

What a great place. The staff really takes care of the grounds and the people. You can tell the trainers all love their animals. We swam with the Dolphins. If you have the chance do it go for it !!! It's been on my bucket list forever and I finally did it. What an experince. The best part was I got to share it with my 12 year old son. He loved it too. The shows and other animals were also fantastic. Thank you for a wonderfyl experience.

We had such a blast! Swimming with the dolphins was the highlight of our trip. We really got to interact with the dolphins. Not only did we get to swim with these beautiful creatures we hugged them, kissed them and played with them. The whole park was incredible! We had such an enjoyable time throughout the whole day. They had so many things to explore there. It truly was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity, it made our trip one to remember.

Booked the trip on the internet and you're always concerned that things might go wrong, but there is no need to worry, everthing went like clockwork. Our guide on the bus was brilliant and check in at Ocean World went without a hitch. The park is really well layed out and professionally run and the best part was yet to come, swimming with the dolphins! This has always been my wife's ambition and i decided to join her and what an experience, without doubt one of the best days of our lives. The dolphins were fantastic and the trainers looked after us really well. My wife was actually moved to tears by the whole experience, so if you do one thing in the Dominican Republic, do the dolphin swim because you won't be dissapointed!

Well worth the money to swim with the dolphins. The day was a little long, but great that they provided lockers so we didn't have to carry stuff around all day. The food was good and so was the animal entertainment. No problems with booking or pickup. We would do it again when we go back.

A true once in a life time opportunity. The tour operator was prompt on pick up, friendly and efficient. The only problem was getting a phone that did not cost way too much money to confirm. It should be able to be done 1 week before as it cost me over 10 USD to make the call.

I am 27 years old and me and my girlfriend went to Ocean World and did the Dolphin Swim and Sea Lion encounter. This was awesome, it does cost a little but I would say its worth it. Also plan on spending more on photos/dvds if you want them. You can get pictures and they are on avg $12 or have them put on a photo cd for $9 picture. Also the dvd is $45 I think. We spent $100 on photos and DVD but it was worth it. Ocean World is smaller than SeaWorld in the US but this is still very fun and at Ocean World you are able to get very very close to all of the shows and action. It was also not crowded which was nice and there is not a lot of walking around, everything is close together, we spent the entire day there and were not bored. I would recommend this and I would go again. Also EVERY employee we dealt with was nice-during the dolphin swim the trainers were very interactive with us and also funny. The shows were good too. Also it rained the day we originally booked but we called them that morning and they moved it to the next day with NO problem.

It's good, but could be better. We were part of a group of 12 people and watching some of the other programs throughout the day, that is a typical number of people. There are two dolphins in each program. Each person takes turns to hug, kiss and dance with a dolphin then you get a dorsal fin tow at the end. Because you are in such large groups each person probably only gets about 3 minutes interacting with them. The program is more about creating a series of posed photos, which cost a minimum of $12 each, rather than dolphin interaction. Overall, Ocean World is worth doing, especially if you are also doing one of the other programs we also did shark and stingray encounter, which was great but there are better dolphin interaction programs elsewhere.

The dolphin swim was rather expensive. It would have been good to have been advised that members of the public can enter the dolphin swim area and take photographs. Had we been made aware of that, we would have arranged for someone to take our photos and video instead of paying the high costs they charge to provide you with their photos...which are not that good. Many of them had dark shadows and were not of great quality. Also, the one photo I wanted was not taken by their staff. The video alone was $45 US plus a minimum of $12 per photo, so the total costs are very high. That would be my only complaint about this trip.

Tour was only a half day but we had to wait the full day to be picked up to go back to our hotel. A waste of a half day. Not satisfactory. Wait was to push us into viewing your resort with the intention to buy.

Booking with Viator was fast and easy. Ocean World was really a blast. The shows were great with lots of chances for great pictures. The dolphin swim lasted for half an hour, and consisted of dancing, kissing, feeding, and petting the dolphins. The dorsal fin pull was fun and the photo taken while the dolphins were jumping over me and my girlfriend was amazing. I highly recommend this.
