This was my first experience with your company and a tour in general. I had found your company on-line and felt your reputation and reviews made it worthwhile to try this new experience. I was not disappointed. Our tour guide Philip was knowledgeable as well as entertaining. We had ample time for taking pictures, walking each area, etc. Our coffee break was perfectly timed and enjoyed the homemade bread with maple butter! I would recommend this to other travellers.

Decent one. But I don't like few non-sense stops in the trip.. it was too much hard selling such as chocolate, bread, and copper shop, That made us arrive the St.Anne church very late (4pm). there was no light outside.

Montmorency Falls was great but the rest of the trip was a huge waste of time. The tour picked us up at 12:30 for a 1pm departure. We started out visiting Montmorency falls which was really beautiful, we just loved it. After the falls we went to a really strange Copper Museum/Store that had a _br/_ "Christorama" the whole stop was bizarre. The copper items were something only very elderly people would purchase and the fake copper mine was not very interesting. Next on the tour we visited the Isle of Orleans and the famous chocolate shop. The Isle of Orleans was nice enough although not much to see and the chocolate shop was a joke. The items at the store were very expensive, there was nothing especially unique or special about the store and the chocolate wasn't even very good. Next we stopped at Chez Marie bakery which was not at all what we expected. We pulled up to this cute stone house and were excited to try some baked goods and get a snack. When we got there there was no food for sale except 2 loaves of bread and a tupperare tub of maple butter being lathered on the bread and sold for 1.50. It wasn't bad but that was EVERYTHING THEY HAD. It was pretty bizarre. Finally we stopped at Sainte Anne De Beaupre for 45 minutes. Don't get me wrong it was a beautiful basilica but we certainly didn't need 45 minutes. Fortunately there was a McDonalds close by so we got a snack after being disappointed at Chez Marie. I would suggest that you take a short trip to the Falls and skip the long meaningless tour.

DON'T FORGET TO CALL AND CONFIRM YOUR TRIP 24HRS AHEAD! Because we didn't confirm, we were kicked off of the 1st bus, but put on a small bus with only 10 of us._br/_ Our driver was excellent, sometimes a little hard to understand. Mt Morency Falls was spectacular! Choclolate shop -just some place to buy candy. Bread stroe - best maple butter bread ($1.50 each slice).. The copper shop was a great place to stop at and learn how they make the copper pieces. Enjoyed seeing the countryside and houses that they live in. St Anne de Beaupre is a beautiful church with many beautiful sights to see, for example, the celings, stained glass windows, all the different chapels. Would recommend this trip!

I registered for this tour on-line. The roster for the bus tour, however, did not show my name or that I had paid the fee. This was disconcerting to me and I wondered how the mix-up happened. The bus driver/tour guide and his office were very apologetic about this. The tour was a delight, the tour guide was informative. The cable car ride to the top of the Falls is worth the cost. Quebec is stunningly beautiful.

We really enjoyed the stay at the Montmorency Falls and St Anne de Beaupre. And the guide/driver was highly amusing. It did seem very commercialised though between going to the copper factory, the chocolate shop and the bakery.

The tour was a great addition to our stay in Quebec city. The stops were all enjoyable. Only thing that would have made it better was a bit more time at the Copper Art museum and Sainte Anne de Beaupre. Had a great time and would definitely recommend._br/_ .

My husband and I were on a cruise from Montreal to Boston. The excursion prices on the ship were very high, so we decided to see if we could find a tour on our own. This tour was excellent. We saw exactly what we would have seen on a tour priced at $144.00. This was a very good value and very interesting.

My sister and I were very interested in this tour of the countryside since our distant ancestors had lived in this area of Canada in the 1640s. We were a bit disappointed with the weather at first, but it turned out to be a good way to spend a rainy day since many of the things we saw were indoors. There were a number of stops along the tour which broke the bus trip up nicely like at Chez Marie's for a slice of freshly baked, warm bread with maple butter, and to take a cable car trip to the top of Montmorency Falls which were amazing. We were at the shrine of Sainte Anne de Beaupre on the saint's feast day with the crowds praying for healing miracles and that was very interesting. The tour guide even stopped briefly at a roadside shrine dedicated to our ancestor (which was on our route) to allow us to take a couple of quick photos. We saw a great deal in just half a day and would recommend the tour a great, informative way to see the immediate countryside around Quebec.

Excellent tour guide, very considerate. Went back for a new bus when at Montmorency Falls because ours was fogging up. Would have like a personalized tour of Sainte Anne de Beaupre as it would have given that portion of the trip a bit more value.

Very good tour. Excellent driver - very interesting and informative. Maybe a little more time at the falls would have been nice. Not enough time to visit the mansion and see the falls. We had just enought time to take tram up and walk down. Copper making not too interesting. Bread making stop was a good break. Chocolate shop stop was very good.

A good tour which gave you a taste of a few things outside Quebec City. The visit to 'the island' was interesting as we did not realise there was such a place in the St Lawrence River system. The fall were great but we were most impressed by the church Sainte Anne de Beaupre. It would have been great to be able to spend more time here - but this is a personal opinion and some may be satisfied with just a short time. The bus driver was excellent.

My 86-year-old mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour! It would have been nice to spend a little more time in some places, but then we wouldn't have been able to see so much. The Montmorency Falls and Sainte Anne's shrine were beautiful! It was nice to have our own time to explore. I wasn't too excited about going to the copper place, but once we got inside it was very interesting. We actually got to see how copper pictures are made. The "bakery" we stopped at didn't have a lot of baked goods, but their fresh bread with maple butter on top was as delicious as a glazed donut! It was worth the short stop there. We were at a chocolate store for a few minutes, and that was enough time to get what we wanted. Just seeing the countryside on the way to these places was interesting. St. Anne's was my favorite. The church is beautiful on the inside and outside. Their gift shop is huge, and I do wish I could have had more time there. Overall, I thought the tour was worth the money we paid for it. I was happy that my mother was able to "keep up" with the tour and we could go at our own pace. If you travel with someone who can walk faster than an 86-year-old, you'll see even more. There is a footbridge across the top of Montmorency Falls that would be nice to walk across with younger people. Our tour could be enjoyed by young or old.

Guy was our tour guide and did an amazing job. I do think I'd drop the visit to Marie's bakery. $1.50 for a slice of bread is steep. I'd spend more time at the chocolate shop. The information about places we saw was wonderful.

I would much preferred to have spent more time at the Falls and St. Anne's. I didn't expect to stop at the copper museum or the maple butter place. They were fine, but I didn't expect to take the time at those places away from the places I really wanted to see.

The company Viatour contracted with in Quebec changed the time of the pick-up at the pier to 9:15 instead of 9:45 Am, the time our e-mail confirmation stated. The local office staff was very rude and refused to accept any responsibility for the mix up. They even told me "who is Viatour, we are a different company." Fortunately, the ship didn't leave until 6pm and we were able take the 1:00 pm tour. What really upset me was that the bus driver was the same guy who drove us the pior trip to St. Annne's the day before. when we said good-by we let him know we were taking the Quebec sightseeing tour the next day @ 9:45 am. He replied Okay. He certainly should have told us, "Oh, it's not at 9:45, it's at 9:15"!!

Very interesting and beautiful tour - the only downside was that the tour guide (Phillipe?) had a very pronounced French accent and spoke quickly, and at times was difficult to understand, but this really didn't detract from the quality of the tour. He was very informative and cordial. Thanks Viator!
