Blue Lagoon Spa Roundtrip Transport from Reykjavik

Reykjavik, Iceland

Find the ultimate relaxation when in Reykjavik on this excursion to the Blue Lagoon. Surrounded by lava fields and snow-capped mountains, the Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa outside the city where you can bathe in the warm waters, have a water massage or enjoy a spa treatment. With your transportation all arranged, just lie back and relax, before catching your transport back to your hotel in Reykjavik or to Keflavik Airport for your flight home.

A visit of Iceland's Blue Lagoon will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed for the rest of your trip. If you're looking for a unique, blissful experience while in Reykjavik, this is it. A geothermal spa in a lava field south of Reykjavik, the Blue Lagoon is one of the most popular sites in Iceland. Its hot water, which stays an inviting 96 to 102 degrees Fahrenheit (36 to 39 degrees Celsius), has been known to be wonderful for the skin.

The Blue Lagoon's warm water and natural active ingredients (mineral salts, silica and blue-green algae) soothe your body and de-stress your mind. The lagoon's white silica mud gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin and has a revitalizing effect. The blue-green algae nourishes and softens your skin, while the mineral salts balance and relax both body and soul.

Choose from a regular bathing experience (approximately 20EUR, payable locally) or upgrade to an exclusive bath for a touch of luxury.

Swimming costumes, towels and bath robes are available for hire, and an indoor Blue Lagoon and geothermal sauna are also on site. Bathing in this stunning environment is a unique experience that no one should miss and is sure to be one of the highlights of your visit to Iceland.

I used this to get from our hotel to the airport, with a relaxing few hours to kill at blue lagoon prior to the flight. They were on time and kept our luggage for us too. Highly recommend. As a side note, Kef airport is one of the nicest airports to have to wait for your flight in...everything you need is after security.

The Blue Lagoon is completely amazing and Viator were very professional and incredibly helptul. We had booked to stay at the Blue Lagoon clinic so Viator very kindy dropped us off there instead of the lagoon itself and collected us from there the following day to take us to the airport._br/_ Highly recommend this trip and this company.

Awesome - especially recommend taking advantage of the private lounge access at Blue Lagoon -much more peaceful than the general admittance. Awesome.

Very easy. Picked up from hotel and taken to main office where transferred to minibus to Blue lagoon. Could tell driver which pickup time preferred but enough flexibility if changed mind. Went in a howling gale which made for quite a lot of excitement. Blue Lagoon beautifully warm while wind roared above us. Fantastic. Would advise to go on first trip of the day as gets busier later

Well organised - blue lagoon is amazing. Well worth the trip. Think a regular bus would be cheaper though but maybe not as easy.

A really nice day - I would suggest getting there early if you wish to book treatments or otherwise ring them before as they get booked up very quickly. Take own towels and bathrobes if you want to save a fair bit of money.

Everything perfect regarding the punctual pick-up from our hotel with a polite and amusing driver. The Blue Lagoon experience itself is absolutely marvellous. I think Viator, in offering this excursion, could make clear that the price paid up front only covers the transport and not the entrance to the Blue Lagoon itself.

If you want honesty; Drivers on all the buses I took (apart from the northern lights tour bus) were rude and abrupt. For this Blue Lagoon trip our pick up driver left without us. We were at pick up on time but he had 6 people on his checklist and 2 people who hadn't booked entered the bus so he left. When you add up all bus trips, it's cheaper to rent a car.

Excellent - prompt and well organised transport. The Blue lagoon is fantastic and we had just the right amount of time there arriving at 9 and coming back at 3 as we had massages and a lovely lunch there too. Would recommend.

Transport to the lagoon was efficient and timely- - even turning back to collect passengers who were late! The blue lagoon was fabulous. Couldnt fault the outdoor facilities but the relaxation room was dated

I gave it only three stars because essentially the trip is only the transportation to the Blue lagoon. It would be nice to have the admission and a few specials (towels, robes etc,) thrown in on the deal. It is a great idea to go to the lagoon before you have to go to the airport

Amazing, I really didn't think we could spend 5 hours in a pool but it was fantastic. The temperature outside was about 3 degrees but the lagoon was so hot in places you had to be careful where you went. We also had a massage which was surreal. The only thing I would change would be to take our hotel towels rather then hire a towel just to save a bit of money.

A nice way to end your stay. This was the last thing I did before I returned home. The bus picks you up in Reykjavik and takes you to Keflavik from the Blue Lagoon.

Would recommend this trip, felt quite relaxed when we left. 28 euros entry fee quite pricey but worth it for the experience. Good opportunity to see the local area and Icelandic scenery on route to the lagoon too. There two hours which was sufficient time to take it all in without feeling rushed.

There's no better way to end off a trip to Iceland than with a few hours in the Blue Lagoon. Our flight didn't leave until 430pm, so we took the 900am bus from Reykjavik and were there for the 1000am opening. Four hours relaxing in the pool were perfect, and we were nice and relaxed for our flight back home.

This is the trip cannot be missed in Iceland. Must try but remember bring body lotion and good conditioning for your body and hair as the water there is too salty and can make your skin drying.

This is a magical place, but book your treatments before you go or else when you get there they have no spaces left. Take a swimsuit and towel, beware it is cold outside but so hot in the water. I wouldn't go to Iceland and not see this place, that would be a crime.

Experience not to be missed; in fact, go twice! Very relaxing and peaceful, changing rooms excellent with private zones, hair dryers and vanity areas. Good shower area with free shower gel and hair conditioner. Make sure you rub on plenty of the silica mud, very good for the skin.

Wonderful experience to be swimming in the Blue Lagoon. My daughter also experienced a massage, unfortunately I couldn't as they only had one slot available. We felt it would be better to have a few more choices of coach times i.e. every two hours for the return journey. Would definitely go again.

Not to be missed! We went out to the lagoon in the morning and were back in time to spend the sfternoon exploring Reykjavik but if you have more time make the most of it. You can easily spend the day here, once you get in you won't want to get out!

Your staff were extremely efficient, we had a brilliant day at the Blue Lagoon. Well worth the journey. Did not have any treatments, so can't comment there. Would have no trouble going again. Excellent spent time in the lagoon and cafe area and gift shop. After we came out, had a walk around the area, really good.

This trip was the best excursion that we had in Iceland, it was really worth experiencing the Blue Lagoon; however, the entrance fee was not included in the price and we could have booked it cheaper when we got there!

This trip was a convenient and fairly inexpensive way to get from our hotel in Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon. They picked us up at the right time from our hotel and upon arriving at the spa asked us for our preference in return times. Most everyone who rode this shuttle knew that the admission price to the Blue Lagoon was not included, but there were a few people who didn't realize this. The drivers were professional, courteous and helpful. They answered everyone's questions and gave suggestions regarding how to have the best experience at the spa. I'd definitely recommend them.
