Our dining experience before the show was a total waste of money,It was likened too a meal on a conveyer belt,We had just gone to collect our starers and when we returned our main course was being sreved at the table it seemed they wanted us in and out of the restaurant as soon as possible,Others diners in the restaurant who werw not with our party were treated with a lot more courtisy,As for the samba show ,WHAT SAMBA SHOW? The venue was extremely poor tacky in fact .1 restroom for the upper floor which was dirty and unkept. the seating was inadequate very uncomfortable solid wooden chairs very uncomfortable for the duration of the show..we are being complimentary giving a 1 star rating as it is the worst show we have ever seen A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

The Samba show was good although with dinner i thought it was overly priced a bit. The dinner was hard core argentine style steak dinner and a white meat eater like me was left searching for what to eat. The evening was good just that what you get is much less than what you are paying for. Dietary needs of all travellers should be considered. Otherwise we had a good grp of people representing different countries and the evening with them was fun.

We found the Plataforma Samba show far below our expectations. The show and location are what could be expected in a small provincial town but not in a town like Rio. It is far from the quality that is being offered in towns like Buenos Aires (Tango shows). Also we booked with dinner not understanding that this was going to be in a third class restaurant were waiters tried to sell us the worst possible wine at top call prices. Overall rating : stay away from this type of entertainment you can better spend your time walking the beach and selecting a nice restaurant instaed of wasting your money and time on this show.

Fun to see - wouldn't do it again. Not really what I expected. Very commercialized and I really dislike the scramble to get pictures that you had to pay for. I asked one of the dancers if I could take her picture and she said no, not a personal picture, but that the photographer would be around with a pohoto opportunity!

Interesting but a bit touristy, as expected. Excellent costumes and dancing, performers were great. I recommend bringing earplugs as the music is a bit loud! Best seats for photos are in the very back, so you get get up and move around if needed.

AGAIN MUCKED UP !_br/_ We were not picked up as our rservation was not in the system, even though we HAD RECONFIRMED IT. After wasting our valuable time on the phone, we compromised adn got pcked up ater fo rthe show only. The show however was fantastic. recommend the sow and forget the dinner. Great energetic performers, photograper was rather pushy !

The bus was on time. Restaurant was excellent , unimaginable salad bar, waiters keep bringing meat on spades, there is no way you are able to try everything. We got very good seats at samba show. Great and beautiful dancers, wonderful costumes. Unforgettable experience worth the money! Very well organized.

Should of specified that drinks were not included in the dinner. They should of at least provided one beverage. Also the dinner took place somewhere else not at the actual show

It was a great show but not sure worth the money. Info reads 3 hours, you're lucky if you get 1 1/2 hrs. of show time. Our total time, pickup, show and return to hotel was about 2 hours. Some people paid much less at the window and took a cab. Saves you $$$$. But, it was a GREAT show.

It was probably one of the worst shows I've ever seen. I came expecting outlandish carnival costumes. I got 5 of them at the very end of the hour and a half show. Otherwise, a complete waste of time and especially money. As a heads up, they keep taking pictures of you and then try to sell them to you later. As a time filler, they ask where people are from and then somehow sing songs from the countries represented in the audience. I highly suggest people avoid booking this tour.

The costumes were beautiful and the folk dances from the different areas of Brazil very interesting. Seating at the show should be more comfortable. Viator is a very realiable company and I highly recommond .
