A very well put together trip. We re-confirmed our booking locally in our BlueBay Esmeralda (Playa del Carmen) resort with the Olympus Tours rep who made the necessary phone calls to book our pickup with local excursion operators. Our transfer to the departure point was spot on time and made a couple of pickups at other hotels along the way.

My boyfriend and I booked this trip to Chichen Itza during our 5 day stay in Tulum. It was the perfect trip, five stars all the way. From the moment we arrived on the bus we were greeted with a smile and offered pastries, coffee, and orange juice. The bus was full, we were the last ones on, but there were two seats saved just for us. There were three tour guides and one bus driver. Each were very professional, accommodating, and scholarly. The lunch was great, lots of nice vegetarian options, it was a buffet lunch at a fancy hotel - outside, iguanas, live music, just right. After chichen itza the bus brought us to a beautiful underground cenote. The cenote was the best one we had seen, like being in a giant geode. There was copal burning, people swimming in shallow waters, and a traditional mayan band was playing, all under ground! We had a great day, felt very tired at the end, but it was well worth it. We highly recommend this trip!!

Very hot, but a great trip. They even provided umbrellas in the case of rain. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and the information provided was fascinating. It's hard to avoid all of the street vendors at Chichen Itza, though.

We booked this tour with viator in Feb 2011 and traveled to Mexico in Sept 2011. They had no record of the tour even though they are your point of contact when you receive your voucher seconds after paying for the tour. If I hadn't taken my iPad to contact family back home it would have cost a fortune to sort out. The trip was then sorted. The trip itself is worth taking but if you would like to climb a pyramid do the tour at Coba.

Ruins were amazing to see, but too many vendors trying to sell stuff. Definitely ruined the atmosphere, especially when they try to sell something to you while you're listening to the tour guide.

The temples were outstanding and the guides were very knowledgeable and informative. It was a long way to travel to get there but it was worth it in the end. We were last to be dropped off after visiting many other resorts so it was a long day.

Great tour. The guides were very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting. The bus ride was very comfortable, and the tour guides were continuously offering drinks and snacks. The buffet lunch was adequate. We had just enough free time and the tour was just long enough as well, we were there on an extremely hot day and the guides made sure we were well looked after with shade and water. The trip to the cenote after was ok, not many people went swimming as the cenote was dark and cold, with fish swimming in the bottom. All and all a great day, even our young kids enjoyed the history and the day.

Great tour! Very informative and interesting. Got some beautiful pictures. Just be prepared for a long bus drive! Otherwise, it probably is worth it. Also, the price is great for what is included.

Very long day, but a great one. Time inside Chichen Itza was a bit too short as there is so much to see. The tour guide helped a lot to understand the Mayan culture.

The trip was awesome! The bus ride was comfortable even a teeny bit cold. There were plenty of drinks and lunch was enjoyable. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate, which I found made his tour even more enjoyable. I also felt like the whole thing was well organized which made me feel very safe in a completely unfamiliar part of the world.

The trip was brilliant, a very long day so take a book or music for the coach but the tour guides were fantastic, very funny and informative. A really enjoyable day. If visiting I would recommend taking a hat, sunblock, water and insect repellent.

The trip and guides were great. There was a problem confirming my pick-up time and place. When I tried the email address provided, they never replied. When I arrived in Mexico and called the number provided, they only spoke in Spanish and I did not understand Spanish. I finally had someone from the resort that we were staying in call and confirm my time and place of pick-up. I wasted my phone call and time trying to confirm.

Everyone of us enjoyed this trip. The guide was wonderful and the bus was so comfortable and the lunch was wonderful also. We will recommend this to everyone we know going to this part of Mexico. Also want to thank the person who called to tell us what to bring - which he said was a smile. This we did have when we started and when we finished. Thank you all.

This tour is a must!! Not only do you get to travel inland and see some of the Yucatan countryside and villages but the Mayan site is incredible. The tour company does a wonderful job hosting the bus ride and suppling refreshments and information. (Bring tip money). It was a long day but worth it!
