Imagine cruising along the Riviera Maya on a luxury 45 foot (14 meter) catamaran, snorkeling in the crystal clear waters, and lazing in the sun while enjoying free drinks and snacks. Does life get any better?

After a 15 minute briefing on board, you will depart from the Dolphin Area, Puerto Aventuras Marina, with soft drinks service, fresh fruit platters, great music and turtle spotting. You'll arrive to a secluded cove, where the boat will anchor, and you can snorkel on the pristine coral amongst 22 species of tropical fish. Because of the location, this makes for a safe and interesting snorkel location, perfect for the entire family.

After snorkeling, there will be a full open bar as your captain maneuvers the catamaran to offer a unique walk off the front steps directly onto the tranquil beach. Here, you can spend time exploring, swimming  or simply relaxing.

You will then return to the open water where your crew will deploy the famous "boom net" for everyone who wishes to hang on and try this exciting experience in the largest Jacuzzi in the world!

On board, you'll enjoy a fresh fruit platter and a box lunch including a sandwich (ham, cheese or tuna), chips, cookies or a piece of cake and fresh fruits.

You will dock back at Puerto Aventuras and be transported back to your hotel via air-conditioned van.

My wife and I enjoyed it! The sailing, snorkeling and swimming could not have been better. The staff was very accommodating. Beer and rum punch was plentiful. Lunch was poor. The sandwiches were premade and tasted like cardboard. No guacamole or tortillas as advertised.

It was an awesome day trip! The crew was great, the lunch was good, and the boat was clean. The only thing I would mention is that is was a rocky ride out to where we snorkeled, so not for those with a uneasy stomach. Would do it again!

One of the best catamaran trips i have ever been on in the Caribbean. The crew were 1st class and were constantly supplying us with drinks and were so helpful and great fun. Snorkeling in the crystal clear sea and wearing the 'nappies' have a beer in the open water was fantastic. You have to do the trip to find out what the 'nappies' are!!!

I had a great time on Fat Cat Adventures. I enjoyed the snorkeling and just jumping in the water and enjoying the time. The staff were friendly and attentive to everyone. My first snorkeling experience!

The snorkeling was superb and we got a guided snorkel excursion where we actually saw sea turtles up close and the coral was beautiful. The final component was a nice swim off of the boat where the crew threw us beer while we bobbed around on our life preservers. It wasn’t just a typical catamaran ride but really unique. We all had a great time.

We went on the most fantastic catamaran tour from Puerto Aventuras, a marina south of Playa del Carmen. Our host was very entertaining. What was truly the best thing I have ever done on any tour, was to ride on the boom in the back of the catamaran! It was essentially a large net that we held onto while the boat was driving. It was an absolute blast.

We did two very unique things that I have never seen before -first was the ability to ride the net on the back of the boat - A MUST do for anyone! The second extremely fun part was being deposited in the water with our "life jacket diapers" - this is when you turn your diaper upside down and put it through your legs - you can bob around the ocean in your "diaper" while having drinks thrown to you from the boat! What a great day!

I've been on several catamaran tours, and they are all just a little bit different. Lunch was great, and the ride was fun. The crew kept it lively. The crew almost caught a fish off of the back of the boat. We witnessed sea turtles swimming next to us and Dolphin.

We had a fantastic time on the catamaran adventure. The crew was entertaining. We actually saw sea turtles while snorkeling. Our guide was the best ensuring everyone who snorkeled had the opportunity to see the sea turtles and the beautiful tropical fish. The “boom net” on the way back was a total blast. What a very pleasant day, cruising the beautiful sea, meeting fellow vacationers was fun in itself! The crew was at all times conscious of safety, and determined to show us a good time as their guests. They rescheduled our trip and gave up their scheduled holiday just to insure us better weather and more fun. They went above and beyond for us!

The crew were amazing and made the whole trip absolutely fun! We spent the day with about 15 to 20 other people on this catamaran and we were the only people who had children with them. Our children were 8 and 10 and the crew made sure they also had fun. We started off sailing out into the beautiful ocean while the crew explained some things about the boat. They let anyone steer the boat including the kids, which they loved of course. When we got to the snorkeling site we all got out to snorkel. What a blast!!!!! You could of course go where you wanted, which we did but then my kids started to follow the guy from the boat and he was able to pick up some star fish and let them hold them. I think that made their day. Back on the boat the beverages never stopped!!! We had a great lunch. Then we stopped at another great place and you could either just float around for a party in the ocean or dive off the boat. I can't say enough about what a great job the crew did to make sure we all had a great time!!

The catamaran trip was absolutely amazing! The water and weather were perfect, the crew was polite and accommodating and the snorkeling was great. I think there could have been sandwiches for snacks since we were swimming and got hungry from all the activity. I have to say that the rum punch was the best mix I've ever had. _br /__br /_ My only complaint is that I was very displeased that the operator didn't have an answering machine at their office. The voucher said to call 24 hours prior to your reserved time and when we called the phone just rang.
