I urge everyone to go on this tour first. It was fantastic and our guide was very knowledgeable. Almost too much information. Make sure you get to the piazza early to take in the local artists and cafes.

The tour was informative once it started. No guide was at designated place to get started on time. Several of us were there 30 min. prior to start time. About 7pm someone called the company and representative said the guide left with 8 people. 7 of us were still waiting for the guide. An hour later a guide showed up. Guide made no apology for us having to wait and no mention that tour would end at the colleseum. Disappointed that tour did not begin on time.

A political rally was going on in the spot where we were supposed to meet our guide. She carried a sign saying "Enjoy" which gave us no clue she was our guide. It was pure luck we found her. It was difficult at times to understand her English, but I understand she was a substitute, and she was very thorough and professional.

I can't tell you how fantastic this was. Our tour guide (and her name escapes me right now) was the best I could possibly ask for. She was studying archeology and know so many things about the places we visited, it just blew my mind. And I have a degree in Classical Civilization. Amazing what comes back to you with the right guide. Someone else mentioned doing this the first night to get their bearings and that is truly a good idea. I went back to various places during the day on my own to get additional pictures. This was a fantastic way to see Rome!

Our guide had a small speaker as she walked and it was hard to understand her during the tour due to the crowds and the noise. Other than that, it was a neat tour. Make sure your guide speaks good English and not broken, that can be an issue!

Our tour guide Lara - extremely knowledgable and spoke English very well. A great tour covering many of Rome's historical landmarks - starting at Piazza Navona and ending at the Colosseum. Alot of walking but definitely a must- do as it is a great introduction tour to Rome.

Alfredo, our tour guide, was patient and very knowledgeable. How I know? Because the other guy on this tour asked a lot of questions which Alfredo was able to answer every single one of them. Even though only 3 out of the 13 confirmed persons turned up, he ensured that we were still given the full 3 hours. Were brought to all the main sights of Rome. Highly recommended especially if it's your first time in Rome.

This tour was really, really terrific. It actually started pouring rain halfway through the tour and everyone still had a blast, which speaks volumes. The guide was professional, extremely knowledgeable and went the extra mile on giving interesting facts (I know because I did a second similar tour with another guide who left all this cool info out!) A definite recommendation, particularly for beating jet lag.

This was the perfect tour of Rome! Our guide Kiara was fantastic. She really knew what she was talking about and I learned so much from her. She was a lot of fun too. We got to see so many beautiful sites in 3 hours and i would recommend this tour to everyone!

Had great time seing Rome as a walking tour but didn'r really see the town by night until the tour was over and we back tracked the way we came. Seing Rome at night was the best and way different then seing it during the day.

Our guide, Alfredo, was excellent. We had a small group of 7 and the tour was detailed and informative with lots of laughter and time for questions and pics and a stop for a drink/ice cream break. Went for around 3.5 hours and took in all major attractions, ending at the Colosseum -highly recommend

I totally enjoyed this tour. It was a great way to get better acclimated to the city of Rome, more comfortable with the streets and how to get around by walkiing. We had a very small group and our guide was great. She has immense knowledge and shared it with us along the way.

Great tour. There were only 7 people on ours which made it easy to hear and interact. The choice of locations was good for an evening tour. Our tour was on the longest day of the year, so by the end it was only beginning to get dusky. Ending at the Colosseum as the lights were coming on was lovely.

A very good introduction to Rome- I did this on my first night and it really helped to put the major monuments on the map for me and give me a layout of the city. Our guide, Fabrizio, had very good subject knowledge. Highly reccomended. Just one note which wasn't a problem for me- this tour starts at 1830 so it will be light for the vast majority of the tour- by the time you get to the Colloseum, it will be dark (just!) but one to be aware of.

We did this tour on our first night,and it started the trip perfectly as we had never been before and it gave us a great insight to the city and its history. It also made us familiar with the layout of the city. The guide really knew her stuff and was in no rush,she explained everything thoroughly with first hand knowledge of the recent excavations in the forum area.Unbelievable value for money and suitable for all ages as we had teens aswell and adults. A must do trip!!!
