I had a great time! There are some reviews saying that there have been problems for those that used the Rome to Florence bus as a shuttle. We used it for this purpose, just a shuttle to Florence, and it was awesome! We were picked up at a nearby hotel, then boarded the bus and our tour guide talked occasionally along the way about the sights we saw and the history of the area. We stopped halfway to use to restroom and do some shopping, the store let you taste all the different wines, olive oils, spreads, etc, and it was a nice little stop. Once we got there we were dropped off at Academia, just like the information said we would be, and we made our way to our hotel on our own. It was just what we wanted!

It was said door to door service when we first book with Viator. The bus picked us up at the hotel but dropped us at bus station, we paid another taxi to get us to the destination hotel. Bad Deal!

All went OK save for the drop-off. We were dropped off and had to walk a block or two to catch a cab. Then pay over 10 euros for the ride. Not very helpful.

We loved Florence and would have appreciated a longer day there. I had the impression that we would have 7 hours to enjoy the city. As it turned out, we had 4 and a half. You should indicate this in the tour description.

The shuttle was quite an enjoyable ride with a short stop to a factory where you can purchase local wine, chocolate, etc._br/_ There is commentary on the bus as it is also where ppl that book a day trip to Florence also ride in. A map of Florence was also given out. The ride is about 3.5 hours and for ppl that use this as a shuttle, you will arrive in Florence no later than noon.

Shuttle was great, nice comfortable ride. I wish they could have picked us up from our hotel, but in all it was good.

The departure time was a bit early but there weren't any other options. It was easy to use but the train would have been faster.

Dumped off in unfamiliar territory. Had to remove own suitcases from the belly of the bus after shifting several other suitcases. while the driver was busy smoking and chatting on the sidwalk

Good value for the money- Antoinette was great. Hotel pickup was good but they dropped us off at their main staging area and waited for around 25 minutes before departure

We were the only family that used the bus as a shuttle service. Everybody else went on a day trip to Florence. As a result, the operator was not interested to accomodate us and although it was raining, dropped us in the middle of nowhere.

This tour caters to round trippers. We were dropped at Accademia and had to taxi to our hotel. Train might have been faster and cheaper, but the shopping stop was enjoyable to sample Tuscany wine and foods.

Florence is a pretty city and well worth visiting however, it's a 7.12 hour round trip and I think it would be better incorporating a one night stay-over. No problems regarding coach though, just a long day.

If you want to see another part of Italy, we did, this is a good option. We did not use the audio tour, was given a map and we were on our way. I recommend the climb to Piazza Michealangelo. Tough but the views are worth it.

Highly recommend! We stopped for wine and olive oil tasting at a winery type area and it was one of my favorite things on our trip. Scenery was gorgeous seeing all of the hill towns. Guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the day very much.

We used it strictly as a shuttle. It was nice not to have to deal with a train.

I was essentially "catching a ride" on board the bus with people who were actually touring Florence, so we stopped 4 times before entering the city. If I were on a tour it would had been fine, but as a "shuttle" I was expecting a fast ride to the city and then a ride home at night, so I lost a lot of time with all of the stopping. Next time if I want a "shuttle" I will know better to take the train.

A simple 2.5 hour trip took close to 6 hours. They also called a taxi to pick us up from the drop off point and the taxi charged for the phone call and waiting time, which did not take place. I do not recommend this.
