Wine, dine and relax while you glide along Rome's River Tiber on this two-hour dinner cruise. It's a peaceful and fun way to experience Rome at night, so sit back and enjoy your welcome drink and canapes as you settle into a laidback evening of cruising, dining and music.

After being welcomed aboard with canapes and a drink, you'll set sail from Ponte Sant'Angelo dock. Your evening dinner cruise takes you toward Tiberina Island then back up to Ponte del Risorgimento, north of the Borghese Gardens, before returning to Sant'Angelo.

One three-course set menu is served on the cruise, and a vegetarian option is available. The dress code is smart casual.

I did not enjoy this cruise. The food was terrible. The pasta was over cooked and the appetizers were cold. Also me and my date are both tall and could not stand straight up. The seating was also very uncomfortable. I did enjoy the music and the boat crew was very nice.

Having booked many tours with Viator with no problems we were surprised when we got to the cruise and they did not have us on the list. Everyone was called by name and seated then they asked if there were any other tickets. We had booked this months in advance. I'm not sure what would have happened if they had sold out! The cruise and dinner itself were great with wonderful entertainment.

Very disappointed as had expected live singer or some form of entertainment. This cruise was part of the celebrations for my sister's 60th birthday and to only have piped music and a boat trip which obviously turned around too quickly as had to just sit around and then go up and down the river as we finished our meal was very disappointing. Not at all what we expected after reading previous reviews. Maybe too near the end of the season.

This was a really lovely evening, great meal, good service. Excellent cruise up and down the Tiber spending time across the river to give all guests view of St Peters and Castel Sant Angelo. Additional to that some lovely singing and a great group of other guests all together. Really great evening that we felt was good value and well organised.

The food served on this trip was dreadful. it was all stone cold, bland and all three courses were fish. i have never in my life seen a menu with 3 separate fish courses...._br/_ the cost of this trip was scandalous compared to what we received. i totally regret wasting my money on this.

This was easy to book on line. It was a fun way to end a day of sightseeing. The food and service were excellent. And this was accompanied by wonderful music. There was a great feeling of comraderie with the fellow diners. I highly recommend this lovely experience.

The river cruise with dinner is a very good idea. The boat personnel was very attentive and efficient. There are however a few points that we did not like; there was no pointing out of important site as we sailed by, the entertainment (accordian player and singer) was very good but after two solid hours became too much. The player obvious attempt to obtain tips was somewhat embarassing. The continuous music did not allow any conversation at the table. The food was passable.

This was a real disappointment. I've taken dinner cruises in Amsterdam, Prague and Budapest and really enjoyed them. This was travelling up and down a short stretch of the river Tiber with really high canal banks blocking any view of places of interest along the way. There was no commentary simply because there was nothing to see. Food was unappetising. Only plus part was the accordion playing singer/musician.

The food was goos but nothing compared to other restaurants we ate in whilst in Rome. The viewas were as expected froma boat enclosed in glass. the thing that bothered me was the noise, too many people talking loudly at once.

Unlike the Seine in Paris at night, the Tiber in Rome is less appealing. However, this was the perfect opportunity for our group to enjoy dinner together for the first night. The accordion music and song was delightful. I felt it was a bit expensive for the experience.

When we went to board the dinner cruise they didn't have us on the list, we ended up sitting at a makeshift table across the bathroom. The cruise was nice and the meal was good. The vegetarian option wasn't all that great but the atmosphere was cozy.

We had a fantastic time, very romantic and the food was great, so many courses and very generous servings. The staff were all very friendly and the wine was the same price as it would be in a local restaurant. The lady singing was entertaining. The only thing that I can be negative about is the the fact that some couples had to sit on a table for four with another couple who they didn't know, we were lucky, but everyone seemed to have a good time. overall great value for money and a perfect end to our honeymoon week

The food was nice and the lady who sang was amazing. As a single traveller though, I was made to sit on a table at the front of the boat by myself, which was quite embarrassing and awkward. There was no drink, I had to request the waiter to bring a wine glass and my welcome drink. Other than that, it was entertaining.

Myself and my partner enjoyed our River Dinner Cruise. The staff were very friendly and the food was very nice. We both ordered a bottle of beer and when we asked for another we were told they weren't serving alcohol anymore - so might be a good idea to order extra idrinks in your first round! If you are thinking of doing the cruise book it online as it does work out cheaper. Our trip would have been much better if we weren't sat next to 2 very rude people who couldn't even be bothered to say hello and hardly said a word all night even to each other!! You don't actually get to see much of Rome on the trip as not many lamdmarks are by the River but I would definitely recommend this trip.

I would call this cruise average at best. The boat is closed so you really don't get to take the sights of Rome. The reflection on the windows didn't really allow us to see much outside either. The tables were close together (we were sharing our table with another couple). The food was strictly ok and the portion of the Tiber River that the boat was cruising was strictly average too...outside of the Castle there were no major sights that we saw. The only highlight of the cruise was the on deck singer who kept us entertained. I personally would only book this as a last resort if you have nothing else to do in Rome...no need to go out of your way to go on this cruise.

We were a little disappointed. The food was OK but not anything special. However, we were disappointed with the majority of the food we ate in Rome, not what we expected. Don't expect to see much, you'll get a nice view of the Vatican at the end of the cruise but that's pretty much it. The chairs were very uncomfortable. we wish we would have spent our money on a different excursion. On the positive side the staff were very friendly and service was quick.

Dinner and entertainment was good- I was hoping for more romantic dinner but end up in two birthday parties and bachelorette party was not impress by that at all and to top it off they put our table for two front of everyone ( I think they were over booked) which made even more uncomfortable as everyone keep looking at us.

Stay far, far away from this tour. There is nothing to actually see on the Tiber except concrete walls. The food was mediocre at best and we had to share a tiny table with a couple that we didn't know. There was a woman who sang "classic favorite" type music, who was so loud that we couldn't actually have conversation during our meal. It was the single worst experience in Rome.

Had a great time because we met great people and the live entertainment was very good! Too bad that there was not a whole lot to see from the boat as we expected to see the city at night and did not. The food was fine and service was great but not sure if it was worth the extra money to be on a cruise since the views were lacking.

A wonderful evening that began with a complimentary mimosa and ended with a complimentary regional limoncello apertiff! The meal was delicious, service attentive and cruise enjoyable. The highlight was the entertainer who continuiously sang in both Italian and English for the entir cruise. She was great!

The cruise was a disappointment . I have been on cruise down the Thames and the Seine in Paris, both have lovely buildings along the trip. All you can see in Rome is walls. The food was not special so don't waste your money.

Cramped uncomfortable boat,no ambience,food inedible most people on board left most of it.The drinks were exorbitent and at the end of dinner came round with so called liquers which they gave you the impression that it was part of the cost only to charge 4 Euros on the bill for each liquer .also the view from the boat was non existent there is really nothing to see apart from the castle and you get a better view from the Jetty before you board the boat.I would not recomend this trip to anyone and suggest Viator drop this from its suggested trips

This boat trip was good fun, easy to locate and good value for money. The only downside is that the river sits a lot lower than street level and therefore the lighted buildings are not easy to see. The food was good and despite the waiter dropping the starter they compensated us with a bottle of champagne.

Atmosphere terrific. Excellent food and friendly staff. Saw some really nice sights while dining. Transportation to and from hotel would have been nice, since we were two women traveling alone in a strange place.
