i was SO happy i had booked a few weeks in advance as there were no tickets available for the museum for over a week- and we would have missed it! The museum is totally awesome- and a 'must see' in Rome and also the tour guide who walked us thru the galleries was also- top rate and very informative and also entertaining! Very happy we booked ahead and through Viator!

We are known to be 'arty' people and booked the trip more because it fit in with our itinerary and was close by to our hotel. That said, my husband, 10 yr old son and I thought the gallery was simply stunning. We very much enjoyed both the gallery and the walk around the park afterwards. If you have time, we would certainly recommend you take time out to do both.

At the Borghese, it was very confusing as to what and where we were to go to begin our tour. The people at the Borghese sent us ona wild goose chase as to where to start._br/_ The Borghese is a treasure.

Great guide with very good knowledge, love and passion about the artworks here. Well managed tour - good tour and walk of gardens down to Piazza Del Popolo later in the day. Good value - certainly added to our time in Rome.

This was a good tour, but we found that the scheduled entrance times at the Gallery left a lot to be desired in terms of the amount of time in the gallery itself. The tour guide was great and knowledgeable and we enjoyed her take on the paintings, but spending a bit less time at each of the sculptures and paintings would have left us more time to see the rest of the collection before we had to leave. The walking tour of the Villa Borghese was a nice added touch.

I think we paid more than we should have for these tickets, but they worked perfectly, and we got the 5 euro audio guide to go with it when we got it. It was totally worth it! This collection is unbelievable and the audio guide is very, very good.

The Borghese was wonderful. The tickets made it easy for us. However there was some confusion about where to meet to check in. It could have been explained more clearly. All in all, we were happy with the system.

The tour would have been lovely; however, the heat wave in Rome was beginning (August 2011) and the air conditioning in the museum was broken. First time in my life I almost fainted. It was difficult to enjoy the artwork because of the heat.

We so enjoyed this gallery and the gardens. We used the audio guide, which was sufficient for us. The lines weren't long, so we really didn't need to get the tickets online beforehand (and the extra cost!)

Definitely worth it to have the tickets ahead of time.....there was a 2 day wait to get tickets if we had just showed up hoping to buy a ticket!

There was not much of a long line and the cost of the booking to the cost of the tickets was a large difference. Also since this was only skip the line did not find the booking worth the money spent

The service provided by Viator was very poor. Everyone was confused, the scout ticking off names was inexperienced or ill informed. We were hearded into the wrong group then kicked out and had great difficulty getting our checked in bags back and had to queue again to re check! The staff was unhelpful and left us for dead even though they caused the problem. It spoiled a long awaited experience and for this reason I would avoid using Viator again.

It worked perfectly at the site although I was not asked to show my voucher or my identification as indicated on the website. I had to go to a bit of trouble to find a place to print out the voucher so it was a waste of some of our precious vacation time.

Don't think twice about this tour - the skip the line is definitely worth it! The wait to get tickets was 5 days when we were there in the summer. However, please note: there is no guide for this! You will either need 5 euros in cash for a headset, buy a book in the shop (10+ euros), or read the lamenated pamphlets in each room. I bought the book and read the pamphlets. We had a limited amount of time in the museum, so, I just read the pamphlets, and read the book at home. But please do not miss the upstairs! You will miss out on some important pieces of work - like Titian! We almost missed the stairs completely. This is a greaet mueusm with important pieces in it. And it is set in a stuning park.

When we arrived at the Gallery, which took us a while to find in the park, we found out we did not get a guided tour to explain the art. We were told we had not paid for this, so we wandered through on our own and learned nothing about what we saw. Very disappointing and I sure felt we had wasted our money.

We paid for this tour thinking we were getting a guided tour through the Gallery. Once there we met the Viator guide and she informed us we only had tickets to enter and not a tour. Tickets from the Gallery are only approximately $6 and there are no lineups to get in. We were extremely disappointed in this purchase as we extremely over paid.

Exactly what you need for this venue, just a ticket booked for you at the door, all ready to go. No group, a bit of research before you go and the audio guide will suffice.

The organization and how the tickets were handed out was very chaotic. There was no system. Some people waited patiently only to be overlooked while others cut ahead and forced their way to the man handing out the tickets. I was not at all impressed by the attitude of the man handing out the tickets and felt he was bit rude.

I would do the walk the gallery on your own. I am not sure you need a guide - the walkman works fine. It was worth having the tickets ready for you when you got there and could skip the line! I will book Viator for all future trips.

Line? What line? Your are paying someone to have your tickets ready for you instead of taking the 30 seconds to walk in and get them yourselves. Total waste of money for the service. The Gallery on the other hand is amazing. Since you don't have a guide for this one you can travel at your own pace.

Since the Borghese Gallery only admits 200 people every 2 hours, the tickets are sold out 2 days ahead. While I thought it was absurd to mark up the price of entry so much, it is inevitable given the competition for the tickets. The people were friendly, helpful and right out front where they could be found easily.

Spent a fantastic hour and a half viewing Gallery. This is, effectively, a private Museum with some beautiful scupltures and paintings by the world's greats. You must book well ahead as numbers are limited and it sells out.
