Travel south to the Klias wetland for a river cruise in search of the elusive Proboscis monkey, rare Silver Leaf monkey, mischievous macaques and myriad species of birds that inhabit this unique riverine environment. As dusk falls, look out for crocodiles lurking by the riverbanks.

On a moonless night, be mesmerized by the flickering lights of fireflies against the night sky. Enjoy a village-style dinner and immerse yourself in the sounds of nature in this rustic setting. The boat ride to watch wildlife is about 1 - 2 hours. During the ride, there are no toilet facilities and if it rains along the way, you may get wet. Although there is a high possibility of wildlife sightings due to their habit of resting or mating by the riverbanks in the evening, wildlife sightings are not guarantee.

Long drive there and back. Had meal on the boat. Food very good. Saw lots of monkey's. Guide was very informative. Very relaxing evening, but not the sort of tour if you are looking for excitement, some other tours provide small speed boats which can be more thrilling and you can get closer to the riverside

The river trip it self is worth doing but, the dinner is unedable and the guidedriver we had was very rude and un informative. We had twin 2 year olds with us and decided to not do the fyerfly portion as it was raining. The guide said he could take us home early. Well he then was angry we decided to do this and thought we wouldn't notice and drove around town for the extra 30 mins the fyerfly portion would have taken. So instead of getting to the hotel 30-40 mins earlier we got back around the normal time. We were not happy because we mide as well have done the fyerfly trip. The discription on this page does not tell you it is a 2 or more hour trip from the Rasa Ria area or over an hour from town centre. I think the discription should. Also our pick-up time was never fully clear. I suggest doing the mangrove trip to see the wildlife but, do not do the tour with this company it is horrible and over priced.
