La Jolla is an enchanting coastal community located 14 miles from the center of San Diego. This tour will take you to the majestic caves overlooking La Jolla Shores before continuing down to the Cove and Children's Pool. You will observe beautiful wildlife, the brown pelican, cormorants, sea lions and harbor seals.

As you walk inland to the village you will encounter the richness and beauty of La Jolla's past and present. You will also learn about the people who have preserved and enhanced the natural beauty of the area.

This guided walking tour lasts two hours and is excellent for large groups and those interested in learning about the history of this "Jewel".

For anyone who wants to see the beautiful shoreline of La Jolla, this is the tour to take. It is roughly a 3 mile walk (there and back) and there are lots of places to take pictures. It is hilly in parts and sometimes you are close to the cliffs, but the pace is slow. Our tour guide was very nice and quite knowledgeable about the area and the marine life. Donna C Toronto, Canada
